SHEIKH JASSIM has not given up on one day owning Man Utd, according to reports.
The Qatari went head-to-head with Sir Jim Ratcliffe for the Red Devils in 2023.

While Ratcliffe, 72, went on to buy a 25 per cent stake in the club, Jassim had been attempting to purchase it in its entirety - pledging to wipe their staggering debt in the process.
Taking into account money borrowed and transfers still being paid for, the Red Devils are said to owe around £1bn.
Ratcliffe has endured a bruising first 18 months as United co-owner.
The Red Devils have just secured their worst finish of the Premier League era, while former boss Erik ten Hag was sacked last October.

The Dutchman's successor Ruben Amorim has so far been unable to stop the rot, while the Red Devils' difficulties have extended to off the pitch.
Ratcliffe has bemoaned the club's financial woes, with drastic cuts including 450 redundancies.
According to the Telegraph, Jassim and his associates have not given up on one day purchasing the Red Devils.
Qataris looking to buy a major European football club would likely consult Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi, given his vast experience and bulging contacts book.

Al-Khelaifi, 51, has owned PSG since 2011, while he also chairs the European Club Association, as well as Qatari broadcaster beIN Sports.
Interestingly, legendary former Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson was a special guest of Al-Khelaifi's in Munich over the last few days.

Ferguson, 83, attended the official pre-Champions League final dinner courtesy of the PSG chief on Friday.
While he was part of Al-Khelaifi's party in the posh seats at the Allianz Arena as PSG battered Inter Milan to win their first Champions League crown.
As part of their 2023 deal, the Glazer family can sell United from under Ratcliffe.
But the British billionaire does possess the right to make an offer on any share sale.
Sheikh Jassim refused to engage in a public PR campaign while trying to buy United in 2023.
And precious little is still known about the mysterious would-be Old Trafford chief.
It remains to be seen whether Jassim would shift tactics, should another Man Utd opportunity come up.
In February 2024, Ratcliffe cast doubt over whether Sheikh Jassim even exists.
The United co-owner said: "Still nobody's ever seen him, actually.
"The Glazers never met him. He never… I'm not sure he exists.'

YOANE WISSA has told Brentford chiefs that he will never play for the club again amid interest from Newcastle, according to reports. And it's claimed that if the Bees continue to play hard ball, the Toon could move on to Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson instead. 4 Wissa, 28, has received serious interest from Newcastle this summer. Arsenal have confirmed the transfer of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP and the Sweden international can't wait to get to work under Mikel Arteta in the Premier League Viktor Gyokeres simply felt that Arsenal were the right club for him to take the next step in his career and is relishing the prospect of giving supporters something to cheer this season. The striker completed a £63.7million transfer and has committed to a long term deal at the Emirates following his move from Sporting CP. Gyokeres, 27, was among the most talked about players of the summer having been linked to a series of clubs. But a transfer proved far from easy as he fell out with Portuguese champions Sporting over the fee he would be permitted to leave for. Arsenal eventually came to an agreement for his signature and ended their search for a goalscorer having opted to move for Gyokeres over RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. And it appears Gyokeres did not require much convincing to provide his signature to the Gunners. The Sweden international, who bagged 54 goals last season, spoke effusively of why he committed to north London and listed reasons from the impact of Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta to the strength of the club and their style and Arsenal's history and fanbase. "I just felt that it was the right club for me," he said after signing. "What I heard from Mikel and Andrea when I was speaking with them, and just what I've seen in the past years, how they've been playing football. When I was playing against Arsenal last season, I could really feel it was a very strong team and very difficult to play against. "That made me choose Arsenal, and of course all the history the club has and the massive fanbase. It's been amazing to see all the support that they have already given me before I even arrived. That's what it's all about. It's going to be very nice to see them in the stadiums as well." Unsurprisingly, Arsenal's new no.14's mind is already on finding the back of the net. After struggling in his previous spell in the Premier League with Brighton, Gyokeres wants to put things right. "I always want to score,' he said. 'To be a part of this club and to score in this kit and with this badge in front of all the supporters, I can't wait. It will be an amazing feeling. "I started here [in England], it feels like a long time ago. I think I've improved a lot since then. Now I want to prove myself for real and perform together with the team. "It's a big honour to play for your country, and then to score goals for them is amazing. When I played at Sporting, I scored a few goals in the Champions League so I feel that I can be on that level as well. Now to come here to a club on Arsenal's level, I think it's going to help me perform even better with all the amazing players in this team. I'm really excited to get going."
