CHELSEA have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jamie Gittens.
Talks had been progressing in the US, where both teams are taking part in the Club World Cup.

And despite Bayern Munich also being interested, a deal has now been agreed for the 20-year-old to move to Stamford Bridge.
Gittens will undergo his medical tonight on the US, before finalising a seven-year-deal until 2032, worth £50million with £5million in add-ons.
Earlier this month, Dortmund turned down an offer worth £42m, and the two clubs were unable to agree a deal before the first window closed on 10 June.
This eventual agreement comes amid Chelsea's search to strengthen wide areas after rejecting their obligation to buy Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.

Gittens contributed 12 goals and five assists in 48 games in all competitions for Dortmund last season.
But the England U21 international and former Reading youth product has struggled with illness and hardly played in the USA.
The Blues have already spent £1.4billion to assemble their current squad, but club transfer chiefs are desperate to bring their former youth star back home.
Gittens, who previously had a very brief spell with Chelsea's U9s, was part of the England side that won the U19 European Championships in 2022.

Lucy may have conquered British women's football, but fascinatingly, she is a very big fish from a very, very small pond. While her birthplace is often listed as Berwick-upon-Tweed, about 60 miles north of Newcastle, Lucy was actually born on The Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Accessible only at low tide, the Island has a population of around 160, and along with the English folk-rock group Lindisfarne, Lucy is arguably its most famous export. The oldest Lioness at 33, the subject of retirement is something Lucy has considered. Asked about her future when she eventually steps down from professional sport, she admits she's 'not as good' as she was six years ago – but is learning to celebrate her incredible achievements. But at the same time, it's hard to know exactly how Flamengo will get on against the Bavarian giants. If nothing else, we know that both teams like to attack and score goals - their respective statistics tell us that. So if you're looking for an alternative bet, a wager on over 2.5 goals might be the way to go. Over 3.5 looks a possibility and is 7/4.
