Dodgers pitchers Clayton Kershaw, Yoshinobu Yamamoto named to all-star game roster
He'll be joined on the N.L. team by right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who leads the Dodgers in wins (8), strikeouts (109), innings (96 2/3) and ERA (2.51). First baseman Freddie Freeman, catcher Will Smith and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani were chosen as NL starters last week. The All-Star Game will be played July 15 in Atlanta.

Injury update
The Dodgers' injury-battered pitching staff could soon be getting healthier. Right-hander Tyler Glasnow threw a bullpen Sunday in preparation for what Roberts will be a return to the rotation during the Dodgers' six-game roadtrip. Glasnow has been out sine April 28 with shoulder discomfort. He had a 4.50 ERA in five starts before going on the IL.
Left-hander Blake Snell and reliever Blake Treinen are both scheduled to make minor-league rehab assignments this week in advance for their return to the roster. Snell, a two-time Cy Young winner, as been sidelined since April 2 with a shoulder injury, is expected to pitch for Class A Rancho Cucamonga. Treinen, who last pitched in mid-April, is expected to make a one-inning outing with Triple A Oklahoma City. He is recovering from a right forearm strain.

Nets draft pick Drake Powell not playing in summer league due to knee injury
Drake Powell posted an impressive 43-inch vertical leap at the NBA scouting combine before the Nets used the No. 22 pick in the draft on the shooting guard from North Carolina following a trade with Atlanta. Perhaps even more impressive? He made that jump while dealing with a troublesome left knee. Powell told The Post that he tweaked his knee during the lead-up to the draft, and the Nets say the injury — which they described as tendinopathy — will preclude him from playing alongside the Nets' other four first-round picks during summer league action beginning later this week in Las Vegas. 'Definitely, just to be there for breaking down film and seeing what we run offensively and defensively and also to get to know my teammates and coaches,' Powell said, adding he was 'not sure' how much higher he would have jumped at the combine if not for his knee issue. 'I feel like my explosiveness is what I can bring to the team, both offensively and defensively. 'My defense is very important and I think it's one of the staples of my game. I try to be myself, but I try to take bits and pieces from other people's games, too, like Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges, guys like that.' Peralta pitches 6 shutout innings and Brewers chase Yamamoto early in 9-1 rout of Dodgers
Associated Press MILWAUKEE (AP) — Andrew Vaughn hit a three-run homer in his first plate appearance with his new team, Freddy Peralta threw six shutout innings and the Milwaukee Brewers trounced the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-1 on Monday night. Peralta (10-4) struck out seven while allowing five hits and one walk, lowering his ERA to 2.74. Christian Yelich added a two-run homer for Milwaukee. Los Angeles starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto (8-7) got just two outs before leaving the shortest start of his career as the Dodgers lost their fourth straight. His quick exit spoiled a starting pitching matchup featuring two NL All-Stars in Peralta and Yamamoto. With two outs in the first inning, Yamamoto allowed a 409-foot shot to Vaughn, who got called up from the minors earlier in the day as the Brewers put first baseman Rhys Hoskins on the injured list. The Brewers acquired Vaughn from the Chicago White Sox last month. Vaughn became the fifth player in franchise history — and first since Gabe Gross in 2006 — to homer in his first plate appearance with the team. The Brewers added two unearned runs later in the inning. Milwaukee extended its lead to 7-0 in the fifth on Brice Turang's two-out, two-run single off Will Klein.
