What Welsh Britain's Got Talent star who made Simon Cowell apologise is doing now
How did a girl from Penarth manage to get an apology from Simon Cowell, and what is she doing now?

In 2014, 16-year-old Jodi Bird from Penarth took to the stage of Britain's Got Talent and left her mark on the competition show. The singer even managed to get an apology from the notoriously strict judge Simon Cowell after he halted her singing.
In her audition, Jodi sang 'Don't Rain On My Parade' by Barbra Streisand, but Simon stopped her performance, saying he couldn't listen to the song . This lead to the audience and judges saying that it was "a real shame" that she wasn't allowed to finish the song.
Jodi however fought back and continued her performance nodding to "Mr Cowell" in the song. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
She re-sang the song and blew away the judges, leading Simon to say "I'm not crazy about those songs, and I cut you off too short and I apologise."
Although he admitted he was glad he stopped the performance as she then was able to prove a point.

The singer then moved on to the semi finals, where she sang Let it Go from Disney's Frozen. After making through to the judges' vote unfortunately she lost out to the dance group Addict Initiative, which marked the end of her BGT journey
Jodi is still very much performing and in fact took to a different TV talent show this year. The singer appeared on the Welsh equivalent of ITV's The Voice, which is translated in to Welsh as Y Llais on S4C.
In her audition, she performed a Welsh version of Jessie J's Mama Knows Best, which saw all four judges chairs turn around. Ultimately she decided to join Bronwen Lewis' team, although unfortunately she didn't make it through to the semi finals of the competition.

People commented on her performance on social media saying she was "The best in the business," and that her performance was "incredible and flawless".
One person even joked: "Simon Cowell been awful quiet since this came out."
Since initially starring on BGT 11 years ago, she has just released her debut EP 'Greener on The Other Side', has starred in a variety of musicals and now is currently writing a musical herself
In July 2019, Jodi who was 21 at the time, was named Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod's International Voice of Musical Theatre for 2019. Winning the competition meant that she received an international Medal, £1,500 prize money and the opportunity to perform at the Musicale Concert Gold Coast Eisteddfod in Australia.
Now, she balances her life performing in both Wales and London.

THE soaps look set to be rocked by a slew of schedule shake-ups over the next few weeks with various summer sporting events blowing the usual programming pattern out of the water. EastEnders and Emmerdale will both fall victim to being bumped around the timetable with the BBC 's London based soap going off air for a total of eight days amid the chaos. 5 5 5 As well as not being aired in their usual timeslots on set days, one soap will even be forced to move channels entirely. This week, EastEnders has been demoted from its regular BBC One slot onto sister channel, BBC Two. On Monday, EastEnders will air an episode at 7pm followed by another episode at 7:30pm as a result of Wimbledon taking over BBC One. The same scheduling pattern will then occur on Tuesday 1st July. ITV will also begin to be affected by the chaos on Tuesday with Emmerdale airing an extended one-hour edition. It will directly rival EastEnders with the episode being brought forward to kick-off at 7pm. From Thursday the 3rd of July, fans will be left with no soap content for days with ITV and BBC pulling all their coverage across Thursday and Friday. Emmerdale and Coronation Street will both be bumped from air as a result of the UEFA Women's Euro matches. But its fans of EastEnders that will suffer the most. Rhondda man's 'hilarious' Welsh tattoo misspelling goes viral
When Cai Morgan walked out of the tattoo parlour delighted with his Welsh tribute to his family's mantra, he immediately started taking photos of it for friends and his sister Lowri spotted one problem with the tattoo - it was not spelt correctly. Cai, 24, from Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, wanted Ymlaen - meaning forward - but instead got Ymaeln, which is not a word at than feeling embarrassed, Cai has embraced the error and said his family found it "hilarious". Cai went to a tattoo parlour in Brighton, where he has lived since had always wanted a tattoo in the Welsh language similar to his father, who died last year. "My dad was a very patriotic Welsh man with tattoos, like the Welsh flag, all over his back," he said."I've just been waiting for an opportunity and it sprung up."Cai was speaking to his mum on the phone when she reminded him about the family mantra."Ymlaen is what we live by," said Cai, who then decided to take his chance while walking past a tattoo shop. He went into the shop to book his appointment and give the tattoo artist the spelling of the word. "I think where I went wrong on the actual day was I chose the font, the sizing and with the guy not knowing Welsh, it's not his fault," he said."He did the stencil and I approved, I think I became blind to it because I had seen the word many times." Delighted with his new tattoo, Cai started taking photos to show to his friends and family. "I was thinking 'this is sick'. It's Celtic, it's bold at the sides like I wanted it. But it wasn't until I forwarded it to my sister that she started texting me saying 'it's not spelt right Cai'," he said. Fortunately, Cai found the misspelling hilarious. "I FaceTimed her and we barely could talk because we were laughing too much," he said. The mishap was posted on TikTok by his sister and it has since gone viral which left him feeling "very surprised".The tattoo artist offered a free removal to Cai after it had fully healed, but he has decided to stick with it. "It's symbolic now. It's reminder that you can mess up but you can always move forward," he said.

All 100 players start with £1,000, but should they pass on a question, it goes into the prize pot. Each person can only do this once - so it's important to pick the right moment. Lee asked for the 45% question: "Which is the odd one out? A) Dapple, B) Slime, C) Spear or D) Rabbit. Contestants only had 30 seconds to identify the correct answer and lock it in.
