Emerald Cut Engagement Rings for Art Deco Enthusiasts
The emerald cut's clean lines and step-cut facets are at the heart of what makes it so well-suited to Art Deco inspiration. This style favors symmetry, structure, and minimal embellishment—making the emerald cut an ideal canvas for showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and balanced design.
Where brilliant cuts dazzle with fire, emerald cuts glow with refined flashes of light, mirroring the angular precision and cool restraint that defined Art Deco jewelry. These rings often feature bold settings and geometric flourishes that celebrate the cut's architectural beauty.
At KRK Jewels, we offer a curated selection of emerald cut engagement rings that pay homage to the Art Deco period with thoughtful details and vintage flair:
Add an angular halo of baguette or round diamonds around the center emerald cut for a dramatic, Gatsby-worthy effect. The sharp lines and symmetry echo Art Deco elegance while adding a halo of brilliance.
Tapered baguette or bullet-shaped diamonds on either side of the center stone are iconic Art Deco elements. These side stones elongate the design and emphasize the emerald cut's sleek geometry.
Vintage-style metalwork, such as filigree patterns or milgrain edges, adds texture and antique charm to a setting. These details can be subtle or ornate, depending on your personal style.
Step-down or tiered bands reflect the skyscraper-inspired motifs of the Art Deco movement. Paired with an emerald cut, they create a unified design that feels both historical and forward-thinking.
Art Deco rings often feature platinum or white gold to highlight the clean lines and sparkle of the diamonds. These cool-toned metals complement the icy brilliance of an emerald cut and keep the aesthetic crisp and timeless. For a warmer, romantic take, rose gold offers a vintage twist with modern charm.
Art Deco-inspired emerald cut rings are more than just jewelry—they're heirloom-quality pieces with personality and soul. Whether you're drawn to the symmetry, the history, or the subtle glamour, these rings are perfect for brides who appreciate beauty with depth and detail.
For Art Deco enthusiasts, emerald cut engagement rings offer the perfect blend of vintage sophistication and timeless appeal. At KRK Jewels, we honor this classic design language by crafting rings that reflect the bold elegance of the 1920s with a modern sensibility. Step into your forever with a ring that's not only stunning—but steeped in history, architecture, and artistic brilliance.

High-end Mediterranean restaurant coming to Mass Ave
An upscale Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge is coming to Mass Ave next month. Driving the news: Dusk will open in early August in the space vacated by World of Beer at the end of 2023, restaurateur Nasco Angelov told Axios. The first floor will be a 135-seat restaurant and patio, which Dusk is expanding beyond the outdoor space World of Beer occupied. The basement will be a weekend-only speakeasy serving craft cocktails and bottle service with space for about 80. Zoom in: Angelov said the menu will be Mediterranean-inspired, drawing from Greek, Lebanese, Moroccan and Italian cuisines. Entrees will be priced between $30-$50, he said. The vibe: Swanky. Think Miami or Tulum, Angelov said, with a big city lounge element. The large marble bar will be backlit and flanked by fire towers built into the tiled wall. DJ booths will be on both floors, and there will be live music on the weekends. Wood panels hang from the ceiling and rich grasscloth covers most of the walls — with the exception of a wall of original 1900 brick that the team cleaned up and restored to honor the building's 125-year history. Plus: Wait until you see the wallpaper in the women's bathroom. It may single-handedly bring back the bathroom selfie. If you go: 409 Mass Ave.

Candizi: A Sweet Surprise in Every Bite
In a world overflowing with snacks and sugary temptations, few names spark as much curiosity—and delight—as Candizi . If you've stumbled upon this whimsical-sounding brand recently, you're not alone. Candizi has quietly been making waves in the world of gourmet confections, and it's not hard to see (or taste) why. At its core, Candizi is all about playful indulgence. Think vibrant colors, unexpected flavor mash-ups, and that nostalgic rush of biting into a treat that takes you back to simpler times—childhood birthdays, carnival afternoons, or lazy summer days at grandma's house. But don't be fooled by its fun exterior. There's a refined approach behind the sweetness that makes Candizi stand out in a crowded market. The name 'Candizi' might sound like something dreamed up in a candy-fueled brainstorming session—and that's part of its charm. According to the brand's origin story, it was inspired by the idea of 'candy made easy' but with a zesty twist (hence the 'zi'). Whether that's true or just clever marketing, it's catchy enough to stick in your head. What sets Candizi apart is its commitment to quality ingredients and unexpected combinations. Instead of your typical artificially flavored sweets, Candizi opts for fruit infusions, exotic spices, and even herbal notes in some of their offerings. Think raspberry-lavender gummies or chili-mango chews that give your taste buds a little kick. Their packaging is just as playful—eco-friendly wrappers featuring hand-drawn illustrations and pastel hues that look straight out of an indie design catalog. It's no surprise that Candizi has become a go-to treat for everything from wedding favors to boutique gift baskets. While Candizi hasn't yet gone fully mainstream, its fan base is devoted and growing. Word of mouth (and social media) has helped spread its popularity. Scroll through TikTok or Instagram, and you'll find influencers gushing over their 'Candy Mystery Boxes' or reviewing the latest seasonal drops. There's also a sense of community around the brand. Small-batch releases, behind-the-scenes peeks into the candy-making process, and polls asking fans to vote on new flavors help Candizi feel less like a company and more like a friend with a really great kitchen. At a time when people are craving both comfort and connection, Candizi offers a bit of both. It's sweet, yes—but it's also thoughtful. Whether you're trying it for the first time or ordering a box to share with someone you love, Candizi delivers more than candy. It delivers joy, wrapped up in a little paper twist. Millennials triggered by traumatizing fashion accessory making a comeback: ‘It's giving PTSD'
In the early 2000s, one of these belts was likely hanging around your hips — and now, they're back to haunt a new generation. Disk belts, the flashy, divisive accessory that once accompanied low-rise jeans everywhere, are making a comeback thanks to Gen Z's obsession with Y2K fashion. Stores like Primark are proudly displaying them, as reported by The Sun, and TikTok is sounding the alarm. Advertisement One millennial mom was not amused when her teenage daughter reached for one. In a recent TikTok video, creator Nina Dixon (@ninadixon28) documented her daughter beelining for the blinged-out, circular belts — and the mother's reaction said it all: pure fashion flashback horror. 'I can't believe that they've made a comeback,' Dixon said while filming the 'round ones' hanging with the rest of the trendy belts. Advertisement The TikTokker went on, 'You do realise that when I was about 14, that is what we used to wear.' She joked that she was feeling 'PTSD' after seeing a relic of the past for sale once again. In her caption, shocked Dixon wrote, 'They were not lying when they said fashions come back around. I need to find a photo of me in one of these.' One commenter wrote beneath the video, 'I am old I am OLD!' as another added, 'How is this stuff coming back?' with crying and laughing emojis. Advertisement 3 Millennials are shocked that this trend is back in style. BoujeeBora/TikTok Someone else chimed in, commenting, 'Violently thrown back to the micro mini skirt and chunky belt era' as one other defended the daughter in the video, 'why cant she like it.' In another recent TikTok clip, user Shunta (@shuntamosby) also filmed these throwback belts during a T.J. Maxx shopping trip and seemed to be in disbelief that they returned. Advertisement 'What a throwback! I'm sure some of my Elder Millennial peers owned a few! Relive those glory days or discover something new!' she captioned the video. The creator also referred to these as 'nostalgic' and 'boho' leather belts. One wrote under the post, 'I most certainly had one,' as someone else added, 'I never had one, maybe I did. I just don't wanna remember.' Another user said they would 'rock a couple of em now,' as someone else commented, 'The Beyonce influence.' And these aren't the only Y2K-inspired items stunning millennials and catching the eyes of Gen Z-ers lately. 3 Younger generations are now trying to get their hands on these dated belts. NinaDixon28/TikTok As previously reported by The Post, the Von Dutch trucker hat — the early aughts crown jewel once perched atop Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan — has also been staging a full-blown comeback. Last fall, the cult-favorite cap clawed its way out of the 2000s style grave and back onto famous foreheads. Kylie Jenner rocked a bubblegum-pink version on the cover of Elle's November 2024 issue, while sister Kendall and catwalk queen Bella Hadid have also dipped their trucker-hat-clad toes into the early aughts revival. Advertisement Mentions of Von Dutch have skyrocketed a whopping 13,000% in the past year, according to Business of Fashion — and on resale sites like Depop, searches for 'Von Dutch' and 'trucker hat' are up 40% and 90%, respectively. Ultimately, it seems Y2K called — and Gen Z is answering on speakerphone.
