BTS Unveils Plans for 2025 Festa Celebration in South Korea
This year's offline celebration is set for June 13–14 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, South Korea. The event will be open to the public and feature interactive activities, including a FESTA-themed game zone, DIY photo card stations, and a coloring wall inspired by BTS' album artwork.

Attendees can also enjoy hourly light shows, explore a voice zone featuring messages from the BTS members, and visit an archive exhibit showcasing album covers, trophies and the members' personalized lockers.
In conjunction with the in-person festivities, a lineup of online content — such as the annual 'BTS LIVE' and the family portrait — will be released. Exclusive merchandise will also be available.
It remains unclear whether any BTS members will appear or perform at this year's FESTA. Billboard has reached out to the group's representatives for comment.
At the 2024 FESTA, Jin made his first public appearance after completing his mandatory military service, personally greeting 1,000 fans with hugs. He also performed solo tracks 'The Astronaut' and 'Super Tuna,' along with BTS' 'Moon.' While none of the other BTS members were able to attend last year's FESTA, each wrote heartfelt letters to ARMY that were shared during the event.
BTS made its Billboard chart debut in 2013, when 'No More Dream' entered at No. 14 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, eventually climbing to No. 2 seven years later. Since then, the group has shattered multiple records, including the most No. 1 debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 and the most top 10 debuts among groups. In recent years, each of the seven members has also made a mark individually, with all scoring solo entries on the Hot 100.

Blackpink partners with Google Maps to guide you to their Deadline World Tour
If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, BGR may receive an affiliate commission. Blinks, or the official name of the fandom of Blackpink, are probably dying to see their favorite K-pop band perform live during the Deadline World Tour in the US that's kicking off this weekend. Blackpink started the tour last week in South Korea before traveling to North America and Europe, where they'll perform from July to September. While Blinks who scored tickets to the upcoming Blackpink tour already know everything there is to know about the show they're about to attend, the Korean girl group will make it even easier (or more fun) to get where they need to go. Today's Top Deals XGIMI Prime Day deals feature the new MoGo 4 and up to 42% off smart projectors Best deals: Tech, laptops, TVs, and more sales Best Ring Video Doorbell deals Blackpink announced a partnership with Google Maps across their social channels for the Deadline World Tour. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will encourage fans to use Google Maps to get to their shows. Even without the band explicitly promoting Google Maps to reach local venues, Google's navigation app is still one of the best tools to get around. Google Maps will let you find the best navigation options to the crowded stadiums where Blackpink is set to perform. You can choose between driving and public transit, inspect live traffic updates, and even combine transit, walking, and driving modes to get to the shows as efficiently as possible (as seen above). Most people will use Google Maps on their phone to navigate to the Blackpink concert nearest to them, but Blackpink and Google Maps will give Blinks who use the desktop app a neat Easter egg to celebrate the tour. Load up Google Maps on your computer, search for Blackpink's three upcoming venues (SoFi Stadium, Soldier Field, and Citi Field), and look for the Street View icon on the right side of the screen. You'll find a Blink replacing the Pegman you're used to seeing in Google Maps. Here are the dates for the three Deadline World Tour concerts above: Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles – July 12 and 13 Soldier Field, Chicago – July 18 Citi Field, New York – July 26 and 27 Of course, if you're a Blink, you're already well aware of these dates. Scoring tickets is another matter. If you haven't bought yours, you might struggle to find any. As for why Blackpink and Google Maps are partnering for this event, Blackpink's management team, YG Entertainment, said in a statement that the band is always on the road, and Google Maps is their navigation app: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are always on the road, and Google Maps helps keep them on the go. Now they're sharing their favorite tips and tricks to help Blinks get to the Blackpink World Tour Deadline. Whether you're driving, biking, or taking public transit – or all of the above – Google Maps can help you find the best route and get there on time so you won't miss a beat. I think that Google has every reason to support talented artists like Blackpink. Most Google Maps users might not know this, but Google Maps turn-by-turn navigation is not available in Korea, even though Google has been trying to bring its navigation app to the country for years. Partnerships like this one might help Google's chances. The South Korean government should decide by August whether to grant Google's latest request. The 20 Best Movies On Netflix According To Rotten Tomatoes
The Best Movies On Netflix According To Rotten Tomatoes The best-rated movies on Netflix are constantly changing, and I thought it was as good a time as any, with July halfway over, to go through the top-ranking films available on the streaming service. This isn't an exhaustive list by any means. A number of smaller movies, documentaries and shorts rank as high, but these are the best-reviewed feature films on Netflix at the time of this publication. This could change as movies come and go and as new reviews tip the scores up or down a percentage point. The following list includes monster movies, animated family films, action flicks, Academy Award winners and much more. The oldest film in the list is from the 1950s. The newest just came to Netflix this year. The rest span decades, genres and are both animated and live-action. Note also that while most of Netflix's catalog is available worldwide, it can vary from country to country. Without further ado, let's dive right in starting with #20 and working our way to #1 – and please let me know what your top picks on Netflix are by shooting me a message on Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky or Facebook. This is one of – if not the – best zombie movies ever made. The South Korean drama takes place mostly on a train as a father and daughter, along with a colorful cast of characters, try to survive a sudden and rather terrifying zombie outbreak. Just bring a box of tissues. Netflix Originals can be pretty generic and bad, even ones with high-profile stars attached. Rebel Ridge was a pleasant surprise. It's basically Jack Reacher if he were black and facing a racist gang of corrupt cops in the South. Also, unlike Reacher, Aaron Pierre's Terry Richmond isn't a killer. I've never seen such a non-lethal action movie before. Before there was Star Wars, George Lucas directed one of the greatest Americana films of all time, recreating the summer after high school in small town America in the 1950s with style and heart. Fast cars, pretty girls, and bittersweet farewells. This movie is a real gem. I believe this is the newest movie on this list. Kpop Demon Hunters is a Korean animated film about, well, Korean popstar demon hunters. Rumi, Mira and Zoey are celebrities with secret identities as badass demon hunters, selling out shows and taking down evil, with plenty of fun Kpop music for the whole family to enjoy. I haven't seen this one, but if you're in the mood for a really well-received teen rom-com, To All The Boys I've Loved Before follows a teenage girl's struggles after all her love letters are made public. Definitely not a kids movie, this one follows a transgender sex worker out to get payback on a cheating pimp/boyfriend. I haven't seen this one, but Sean Baker has made some terrific films like The Florida Project and Anora. I was so pleasantly surprised by The LEGO Movie when this came out over a decade ago. It was surprisingly funny, the music was hilarious, and the story was really well-written, with a heartwarming ending that really tied it all together. Still the best of the LEGO movies. I'll be honest, I hadn't even heard of this movie until compiling this list. The logline reads: 'Tensions and temperatures rise at a Chicago music studio in 1927 when fiery, fearless blues singer Ma Rainey joins her band for a recording session.' I do love period pieces and 1920s blues music, though! One of a handful of animated films on this list, I Lost My Body is the story of a severed hand that escapes from a dissection lab and goes on a quest to find its body. Certainly a very unique premise, and one that critics and audiences give a high-five. One of the greatest action movies of all time, Mad Max: Fury Road just blasted its way back to Netflix last week. It doesn't matter if you're into post-apocalyptic films or if you've seen any of the other Mad Max movies. This is one you simply can't miss. It's a genuine masterpiece, and it shocks me this isn't at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The classic monster movie turns 50 this year. That's pretty crazy to think about. Jaws pretty much created its own suspense drama, leading to all sorts of great films from Jurassic Park to The Meg. You can't beat the cast or what Spielberg did with the special effects back in the 70s. This is one of the few movies I have a poster for up on my wall. I'll be honest, as much as I love Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, it's probably not even in my top five. Don't get me wrong, it's terrifying and suspenseful and brilliantly shot, but the ending just drives me crazy. I swear, next time I watch it I'm just going to turn it off before that final god awful scene with the psychologist. Other than that, it's a masterpiece! When this came to Netflix a few weeks ago, I called it 'one of the best thrillers ever made' and that's just the cold, hard truth. Not only that, it's one of the best Jimmy Stewart movies ever made, and I say that as a massive superfan. (My other favorites include It's A Wonderful Life, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Philadelphia Story and Harvey). The story of a former beauty queen preparing her rebellious teenage daughter for the Miss Juneteenth pageant. This one was a bit more divisive, with critics giving it a much higher score than audiences (57%). A woman's building is hit by a missile during the Iran-Iraq War and one of her neighbors suggests that the missile was cursed, and that it was carrying a malevolent spirit. The woman, Shideh, becomes convinced that the now-haunted building is attempting to possess her daughter, Dorsa. It's an interesting blend of horror and war story. Perhaps the only movie on this list that is also a pun, playing off the wildly different 40-Year Old Virgin, this one is about a down-on-her-luck playwright named Radha trying to catch a break before she turns 40. She turns to hip hop instead, and the worlds of rap and the theater collide. The brilliantly unsettling Parasite is a must-watch film for anyone who enjoys dark comedy and suspense, though I have to say this really defies genres in so many ways it's almost hard to pin down. It's a story about family and class and the ways disparity can create suffering. The South Korean film really defies all expectations. You just have to watch it, honestly. I've never really been a huge fan of Godzilla movies outside of the classics. Most American Godzilla films are all about the big special effects and massive destruction and seem to lack the kind of important social commentary that's always been at the heart of these films. Godzilla Minus One is a modern Japanese take on the monster movie, and it's brilliant. What they did on a shoestring budget is just remarkable. Siblings and war orphans Seita and Setsuko struggle to survive during the final months of the Pacific War as WWII draws to a close. Watch this before Godzilla Minus One, since that films takes place in the years after the war and the nuclear bomb. This is one of so many brilliant Studio Ghibli films, though it's as tragic as it is beautiful. This lovely, hilarious, charming family movie tops our list today. Wallace & Gromit, our claymation dog and farmer duo, return for yet another wonderfully eccentric romp involving vengeful penguins and a 'smart gnome.' The return of Feathers McGraw (after more than three decades) and our two heroes make this one of the more delightful family movies out there. That's all folks! Are any of these in your top picks? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky or Facebook. Also be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me here on this blog. Lisa Both Matches And Beats Jung Kook's Radio Records
Lisa's 'Priceless' with Maroon 5 ties Jung Kook's 'Seven' with seven weeks on Billboard's Radio ... More Songs chart, matching a K-pop soloist milestone. BANGKOK, THAILAND - FEBRUARY 14: Lalisa Manobal attends "The White Lotus" Season 3 Bangkok Premiere at ICONSIAM River Park on February 14, 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. (Photo by Billy H.C. Kwok/Getty Images for HBO) When it comes to scoring hits on Billboard's all-genre Radio Songs chart, Jung Kook stands as the most successful K-pop soloist, at least in terms of his total number of appearances. The BTS superstar has already landed on the tally three times under his solo name, and all of those tracks have managed historically-long stays – at least by K-pop artist standards at American radio. As time goes on, some of his accomplishments have been matched — and even beaten — by other K-pop stars. Lisa, one of the four members of Blackpink, has bested one of Jung Kook's runs on the Radio Songs tally and matched another one of his as her recent collaboration with Maroon 5, "Priceless," continues to find space on the highly-competitive airplay ranking. "Priceless" Climbs to a New Peak "Priceless" inches up from No. 47 to No. 43 on the Radio Songs list this frame. That position marks a new all-time high for the track on the list of the biggest hits on American radio. Chart position is certainly important, but it's the duration of the song's stay that is especially significant at the moment. Lisa Matches Jung Kook's Chart Run "Priceless" has now spent seven weeks on the Radio Songs chart. The cut matches Jung Kook's "Seven," a collaboration with rapper Latto, which fell off the list after a very fitting seven frames. At this point, "Priceless" and "Seven" are jointly tied as the fourth-longest-running hits by any K-pop soloist on the Radio Songs tally. Lisa and Maroon 5 form one tie with the BTS singer as they break another. "Too Much," a joint effort with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee, lasted six weeks before disappearing from the Radio Songs chart. Rosé Holds the Record for Longest-Running Hit The all-time record among K-pop soloists is held by "Apt.," fronted by Blackpink's Rosé alongside Bruno Mars. That composition jumps to No. 21 this frame and extends its lead to an incredible 33 weeks on the list. Following "Apt." is Psy's viral smash "Gangnam Style," which managed 13 frames more than a decade ago. "Left and Right," a collaboration between Charlie Puth and Jung Kook, sits just one week behind that smash, with a 12-week run. Another Week Could Break the Tie "Priceless" will likely remain on the Radio Songs chart next week. If it manages to hold onto a spot in the top 50, Lisa will break her current tie with Jung Kook. Whether she can stretch the track's life long enough to tie or surpass Jung Kook's all-time longest-charting solo effort remains to be seen, but since "Priceless" hasn't climbed very high on the roster, there's a chance it could fall off in the near future.
