Marseille, Monaco clinch Champions League qualification from Ligue 1
Marseille got the job done away to relegation-threatened Le Havre, but it looked set to be a frustrating night for them despite Amine Gouiri putting the visitors in front.
The match was held up for around half an hour in the second half due to unrest caused by the presence of Marseille supporters in the home areas of the stadium, and when the action restarted Issa Soumare equalised for Le Havre.
However, Greenwood produced a moment of magic to put Marseille back in front from a powerful long-range strike with five minutes left, the goal his 19th of the season in Ligue 1.
Gouiri then sealed the win in stoppage time with his second of the game, leading to coach Roberto De Zerbi racing down the touchline to join in the celebrations with his players and the travelling fans.
"I am really, really pleased for the players, the club, the supporters and the city of Marseille, which is a city that lives for football," said De Zerbi after securing a return to the Champions League for the 1993 European champions.
"I think we deserve to qualify for the Champions League and we are going to really push next week to finish second behind PSG," added the Italian, whose side are a point above Monaco.
"In 10 years Marseille have been in the Champions League three times. This will be the fourth. We came eighth last year, reduced the wage bill and spent less in the transfer market than our direct rivals."
While Marseille were not involved in any European competition this season, Monaco made it to the knockout stages of the Champions League and they will be back among the continent's elite again in the next campaign.
Goals in the second half by Takumi Minamino and Denis Zakaria gave Monaco a 2-0 win over Lyon in the principality, dealing a huge blow to their opponents' prospects of getting the prize money from the Champions League that they so desperately need.
Lyon are seventh with one game left, although they remain three points behind Nice in fourth as well as Lille and Strasbourg, meaning the final spot in the Champions League will be contested by that quartet next weekend.
Nice went down 2-0 at Rennes, for whom Arnaud Kalimuendo scored twice, while Lille were beaten 2-0 away at Brest.
Ramos hat-trick for PSG
Meanwhile, Strasbourg suffered a surprise 2-1 loss at Angers, Esteban Lepaul netting both goals for the home side to inflict a first defeat in 13 matches on Liam Rosenior's team.
PSG have already wrapped up a fourth straight Ligue 1 title and rested several regulars for their 4-1 win at relegated Montpellier, three days after beating Arsenal to reach the Champions League final.
Teenager Senny Mayulu opened the scoring for PSG, who had lost their last two domestic outings, and Goncalo Ramos then netted a second-half hat-trick, including one goal from the penalty spot and one sensational strike from the edge of the area.
"He is a marvellous player," coach Luis Enrique said of the Portuguese striker.
Tanguy Coulibaly pulled one back for Montpellier, who do not yet know the identity of the second team to be automatically relegated to the second tier.
Saint-Etienne remain second-bottom, but goals by Florian Tardieu and Irvin Cardona gave them a 2-0 win at Reims which leaves Les Verts just a point behind Le Havre in the relegation play-off spot.
Le Havre are two points away from outright safety, with Nantes not yet guaranteed to stay up despite a 1-1 draw at Auxerre, and French Cup finalists Reims also still at risk of going down.
Toulouse and Lens drew 1-1 in the night's other game, while earlier Lorient sealed the Ligue 2 title ahead of Paris FC, who are also promoted.

Former FC Porto footballer and Champions League winner Jorge Costa died at the age of 53 on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to the club. FC Porto "expresses its deepest sadness and consternation at the passing of an inescapable figure in the club's history," a club statement said on Tuesday afternoon. Costa was working as FC Porto's director of football when he died. "Jorge Costa's legacy will forever live on in the memory of all Porto fans. You will never be forgotten, Captain," the statement added. Costa had felt unwell on Tuesday morning and been taken to São João Hospital in Porto, where he "went into cardiopulmonary arrest in the emergency room and died", a hospital source told the Renascença radio station. FC Porto's director of football was working at the club's Olival training centre when he started to experience symptoms. He was initially assisted by FC Porto's medical team using a defibrillator at the scene, the newspaper A Bola reported. At around 12:30 pm local time (1:30 pm CET), the club called the emergency services, who transported Costa to hospital in a very serious condition, according to reports. In 2022, Costa suffered a heart attack and underwent catheterisation to widen an artery. FC Porto's former captain spent 15 years in Porto, playing 383 games and scoring 25 goals. His most memorable achievement was captaining Jose Mourinho's Champions League winning side in 2004, when they beat Monaco 3-0 in the final. Aside from the Champions League, Costa won eight league titles, the Uefa Cup, the Intercontinental Cup, five Taca de Portugal trophies, and eight Super Cups. He also made 50 appearances for the Portuguese national team — featuring at one World Cup and one European Championship — and scored two goals. Costa also spent a season on loan in the Premier League with Charlton Athletic, and finished his playing career at Standard Liège in Belgium. After retiring as a player in 2006, Costa went into management. As a coach, he worked not only in Portugal but in countries such as Romania, Cyprus, France, India and Tunisia, where he managed clubs including Cluj, AEL Limassol, Anorthosis, Tours and CS Sfaxien. Tributes from the wider footballing community have been paid to Costa since his death was announced. FC Porto's rivals Sporting Lisbon said it "extends its deepest condolences, paying tribute to his memory and his contribution as a figure of FC Porto and Portuguese football". Charlton Athletic said in a statement that it was "deeply saddened" about Costa's death. "Affectionately known amongst the fanbase as 'The Tank', Costa joined the club on loan from FC Porto during the 2001/02 Premier League campaign and, despite only featuring 26 times across all competitions, is widely regarded as one of the finest centre-backs to represent the Addicks," its statement said.

Pauline Ferrand-Prévôt wins women's Tour de France on first attempt
French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prévôt clinched victory in the women's Tour de France on her first attempt on Sunday, launching an attack at the final stage to increase her overnight lead. The 33-year-old finished 3:42 ahead of 2023 champion Demi Vollering from the Netherlands and 4:09 clear of the defending champion, Poland's Kasia Niewiadoma. 'After my Olympic title, I said I would try to win the Tour de France in the next three years,' said Ferrand-Prévôt, who won gold in mountain biking at last year's Paris Games. She did not face any big attacks and instead launched one of her own with six kilometres remaining in the Tour. Roared on by roadside crowds, she soloed to the finish before collapsing to the ground, exhausted but elated. Vollering was 20 seconds behind in second place and Niewiadoma followed in third place as they sprinted to the line. Having won Olympic gold and conquered the cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix Classic, Ferrand-Prévôt added another line to her glittering resumé with a Tour victory, 11 years after winning the world road race title.
