On Sunday night, Reese and the Sky continued a four-game road trip, facing Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx.
Coming into the night, Reese had totaled 647 rebounds through 50 games in her two-year WNBA career. With 8:24 remaining in the second quarter, she grabbed a rebound off a missed free throw by Jessica Shepard. It was her third board of the game and the 650th of her career.
In doing so, Reese now becomes the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 650 career rebounds, accomplishing this in only 51 games.

The previous record holder belonged to Connecticut Sun center Tina Charles. The ex-UConn forward accomplished this back in 2011 during her first stint with the Sun, achieving 650 rebounds in 58 games. It may be important to note that Charles is also the WNBA's all-time leader in rebounds.

Not only did Reese break the rebounding record, but by entering Sunday's game with 661 points, she also became the fastest player to reach both 650 points and 650 rebounds, surpassing another mark previously held by Charles, who also achieved this in 58 games.
It seems Reese has broken some sort of record in every game she has played since joining the WNBA last year. Her biggest may have been breaking the single-season rebounding record in her rookie year. But an injury allowed Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson to steal the record for herself.
Following the Lynx game, the Sky will be back in action on Tuesday, facing the Washington Mystics in the final game of the road trip.

Amber Rose Howard, the rapper and reality star wife of former NBA center Dwight Howard, has reportedly filed for divorce six months after the couple tied the knot. Rose, who goes by the stage name Amy Luciani, filed for divorce on July 1 in Georgia, claiming that the marriage was "irretrievably broken," TMZ Sports reported, citing court documents. The documents also state that Rose is requesting alimony, asking that the marital assets and property be "equally divided." Rose has also removed any pictures of Howard from her social media accounts. Their relationship was made public in December, as they revealed being engaged to each other on Instagram. Rose also released a children's book with Howard as her last name. Rose's reality fame comes from her time on Seasons 11 and 12 of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." She also released an album entitled "Amy's World" in 2023. Meanwhile, Howard spent 18 seasons in the NBA, ultimately putting together a career worthy of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He was an eight-time All-Star, three-time Defensive Player of the Year, and won an NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2020-21 season. Howard's stardom began with the Orlando Magic, who drafted him first overall out of Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2004. He spent eight seasons with Orlando before joining the Lakers on his first of three stints with the team. Howard also played for the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers. These Alabama players are rated the highest in EA Sports College Football 26 game
As the EA Sports College Football 26 game officially releases, it appears that one of the more popular teams to play with might just end up being the Alabama Crimson Tide. Announced by the game recently, Alabama is actually the highest-rated college football team in the game, owning an overall rating of 89. The Crimson Tide also have the game's seventh-best offense at an 89 rating, as well as the best defense with an overall rating of 96. As expected with a team rating that high as well, Alabama likely has to have some highly-rated individual players also, and well, that is exactly what the Crimson Tide do in fact have in the game. Alabama has a total of seven players among the Top 100 highest-rated overall players in the game, regardless of position, four of which come on offense. Those players, as well as ratings, are Ryan Williams (95), Kadyn Proctor (94), Jaeden Roberts (92), Tim Keenan III (92), Bray Hubbard (91), Deontae Lawson (91), and Parker Brailsford (91). Taking a deeper look as well, both of Williams and Proctor are among the Top 10 highest-rated offensive players in the game, regardless of position, with the former sitting at No. 2 overall behind only Ohio State wideout Jeremiah Smith. Proctor sits at No. 5 overall, and is also the highest-rated offensive lineman in the game. Keenan is also among the highest-ranking defensive tackles, sitting No. 4 overall. Trade Proposal: Byron Buxton To Phillies For Andrew Painter And Justin Crawford
It's that time of year when trade winds (and rumors galore) whip through the MLB with gale-force power, and a big one whipping around the Philadelphia Phillies is a potential deal for Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton. ESPN writer David Schoenfield tossed up the Buxton-to-Philly brainstorm, but to what cost to the Phils? How about losing two big-time prospects, Andrew Painter and Justin Crawford? Take a Zen breath, Phillies fans, the deal hasn't happened yet. The Phillies have been linked to the Twins' Byron Buxton. (Photo by) Indeed, it sounds insane to trade the gem of the farm system (Painter) and a potential everyday center fielder (Crawford) for the frequently injured 31-year-old Buxton. However, Buxton wields the impact bat Philly's wishy-washy lineup needs. He's belted 20 home runs with a .879 OPS in 73 games this year while being on pace for a career high in WAR. The former Gold Glover winner plays a sparkling center field, doing stuff like this: And maybe the biggest plus for Buxton is that he's (miraculously) stayed healthy this season, leading to him being named to the AL All-Star team for the second time in his career. Buxton would be a tremendous upgrade over Philly's mediocre centerfield tandem of Brandon Marsh and Johan Rojas. As Schoenfield noted, 'Centerfield has been a soft spot in recent seasons, with the Phillies in the bottom third in the majors in OPS this year, and the team's overall power output has been below average, even with Kyle Schwarber. Adding Buxton adds more pop to the middle of the order." There's also this: Getting Buxton would likely cause a domino-effect trade in which the Phils would deal Marsh or left fielder Max Kepler. But that's for Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski to decide. Schoenfield says Dombrowski knows 'how to go all-in,' and this may be the last chance to do so with the Phillies' aging core on a quest to get to one more World Series. Adding Buxton would improve those chances. Schoenfield admits that 'trading Painter would be painful' but the Phils' deep rotation would allow for such a bold move. Painter is currently at Triple-A, where he's been 'good but not great,' according to Dombrowski. But nobody denies the kid has ace-level stuff. Take a gander here: Unbelievably, the sticking point to the trade may not be the Philliess. Even though they are under .500, the Twins may not be quick to deal Buxton, whose team-friendly contract has him signed through 2028 and earning $15.1 million per season. But let's be honest: If Painter is on the table, it's an offer that would be tough to turn down. And if the Phils throw in Crawford, it would be a done deal.
