What was once a shell of a shed is now a fully functioning beauty space - and we think it looks fabulous

Not only does she have a gorgeous space to welcome clients into, but according to the nail technician and beauty therapist, it is a very 'relaxing' and 'calm' environment.
Nicola, who is from Newcastle, took to social media to share a step-by-step process of her shed renovation, leaving many open-mouthed.
Alongside the post, Nicola confirmed that her husband, who she described as her 'best friend,' 'biggest supporter' and even 'content model', did all of the work himself, as she beamed: 'Husband appreciation post.'
What was once an empty shed has since been given a mega makeover and now is a jaw-dropping beauty salon.
And not only do people think it looks 'beautiful' but others have said it is their 'dream' to have something similar in their garden.
In the short clip, we saw Nicola's husband take on the hefty DIY job, as he first started off by insulating the space.
Following this he then plastered and painted the walls.
But that wasn't all - to make the shed super trendy, he then added panelling too.
Thrilled with her new at-home salon, Nicola beamed: 'From the shell of a shed to a fully functioning salon, I'm obsessed!!'
Reflecting on the shed's new look, she also added: 'What a transformation it is.'
I was sick of paying rent so moved into a shed at the bottom of my garden
Nicola later confirmed that she got the 9.5ft by 13ft shed from Northern Garden Sheds, a company based in Blaydon-on-Tyne.
While she went local for her natural oak flooring, for the paint colours, her man used Dulux paint in the shade Caramel Sand 5 on the panelling and the Peace shade from Homebase's own range, on the walls.
Do I need planning permission to convert my shed?
CONVERTING an existing shed or outbuilding into a self-contained living space will usually require you apply for planning permission.
However, there is a "loophole" Brits can use to convert outbuildings into a tiny home without permission.
Planning expert Martin Gaine from Just Planning warned the conversion process is far easier than you may think.
Speaking to The Sun, the Chartered Town Planner of 14 years' experience explained: "An outbuilding can be built using 'permitted development rights', meaning it does not need planning permission.
"As long as you comply with the various restrictions and conditions."
One of these is that the outbuilding can only be used for something 'ancillary' to your main living accommodation - examples include storage, a gym or a pool room.
If the outbuilding is existing, converting it then into primary living accommodation IS allowed.
Martin explained: "This is because internal changes to an existing building are not considered to be development at all under the Town and Country Planning Act.
But like anything, there is one catch.
The new living accommodation must still have some connection with your use of the main house.
For instance, if your gran is living out there, she must still come into the house to eat.
To accessorise the space, she nabbed her sideboard and chair from Daals and got her desk and lamp from IKEA.
She also got a mirror and a stand from B&M, as well as a gorgeous vase from TK Maxx.
Social media users react
Nicola's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @nicolavachersmith, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 436,900 views.
Not only this, but it's also amassed 49,000 likes, 192 comments and 6,296 saves.
It looks absolutely gorgeous
TikTok user
Social media users were incredibly impressed by Nicola's garden studio and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.
One person said: 'This is stunning.'
Another added: 'This is my dream.'
A third commented: 'This is beautiful.'
Meanwhile, someone else beamed: 'It looks absolutely gorgeous.'

Trader Joe's fans question early fall product rollout
By Fans were unhappy to learn that Trader Joe's has already unveiled fall-themed products at some of its stores, despite it still being the middle of summer. Talia Heskett, who goes by Trader Joe's Talia on TikTok , visited stores this week and spotted items that enraged some customers. She picked out the fall-themed Pumpkin Pancake and Waffle Mix, as well as the Maple Leaf Cookies, which start at $3.99 per box. 'I LOVE fall and Halloween and such but maple and pumpkin stuff in July seems silly. It's just getting to be real tomato and corn season!,' a shopper commented on the video . 'As a teacher, I'm going to need them to put those fall products back in the warehouse,' another customer responded. 'I am so not ready for the Fall products when it's 98 degrees outside,' another commented joked. Another person chimed in: 'People slow down we're not even in August.' Alongside pointing out the autumnal products, Heskett also showed her followers a variety of other items she was excited to try. The shopping expert admitted to purchasing a $1.99 box of Trader Joe's Fruit Jellies Candy, which is a new product. Coming in peach, cherry, mango and pear flavors, the supermarket chain called it a 'fun' and 'scrumptious' treat created by a UK confectionary expert. Heskett was also intrigued by Trader Joe's new Orange Mimosa wine cocktail, which gained the attention of TikTokers. Starting at $7.99, Reddit users described the mimosa beverage as a 'delicious' drink that works for 'picnic style situations.' Once Heskett was finished looking at food and drinks, she made her way to the store's plant aisle. She enjoyed the 'cute little pots' but praised the location's mini calandiva plants, which start at $6.99 at select stores. The video then showed the TikToker making her way to the recently-opened Trader Joe's in Northridge, California . While there, Heskett spotted a couple of new Trader Joe's 'mascots,' which are gray squirrel stuffed animals named Shirley and Jiffy. Trader Joe's is operating around 600 stores while continuing its massive expansion across the US. However, loyal shoppers were confused recently when they found out a new store would open on 14140 Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks, California . The location is right down the street from another Trader Joe's, and the company plans to keep them both operating. 'Maybe we are living in a simulation, because that seems like a glitch in the matrix,' a TikTok user commented on a video of the two stores last month. Another user claimed that the original store is one of the busiest in the state, so the retailer is testing the two spots. Another claimed the opening of the new store was delayed, so the chain had to re-sign the lease for the old location.

Beth Leavel, Jessie Mueller will lead an NYC concert staging of The Rink
There have been three Broadway productions of Cabaret since the 1996 revival of Chicago opened, but those aren't the only musicals composer John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb wrote. And for one night only, audiences will get to experience one of their best scores delivered by two of Broadway's best voices, when Beth Leavel and Jessie Mueller star in The Rink. The two Tony winners will take on the roles originated by Tony winners Chita Rivera and Liza Minnelli. A mother-daughter story set at a dilapidated, family-owned roller rink on Coney Island, The Rink finds daughter Angel returning home to Anna, as the two bicker, battle and ultimately reconcile, all the while belting out a slew of showstoppers. Directed by Dave Solomon, the September 15 concert staging will benefit Off-Broadway's Classic Stage Company. The Rink opened on Broadway in 1984 and went on to win Rivera her first Tony Award. Terrence McNally contributed the book, and Kander and Ebb's score included such soon-to-be classics as "Colored Lights," "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer" and "Marry Me." And the cast included Jason Alexander and future directors Scott Ellis and Rob Marshall. Stockard Channing replaced Minnelli during the run. The CSC concert performance will feature choreography by TikTok's favorite, Just in Time choreographer Shannon Lewis, and music supervision by Sam Davis (Kiss of the Spider Woman). It's a good year to be a Kander and Ebb fan. In addition to The Rink concert, Cabaret continues to wow with a string of acclaimed replacements (including recent Time Out New York cover star Orville Peck). And a film adaptation of their musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, starring Diego Luna, Tonatiuh and Jennifer Lopez (in a role also originated by Rivera), will open in cinemas on October 10. Written and directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), the musical is both a grim political story and an over-the-top extravaganza, as cellmates Valentín and Molina pass the time with Molina recounting the plot of a Hollywood musical.
