In a wild blend of sports fandom, viral humor, and a splash of celebrity buzz, one Dallas Cowboys superfan has shot to internet fame — thanks to a tattoo that's equal parts bold, bizarre, and brilliantly executed.
Nick Jones, a 29-year-old police officer from Delta, Ohio, now wears a permanent piece of art featuring Kansas City Chiefs star
Travis Kelce
in a cheeky pin-up pose, complete with red gloves, boots, and an oversized can of Accelerator energy drink. But, what started as a quirky dare turned into viral gold.
Fan gets wild
Travis Kelce tattoo
just to impress Taylor Swift—what was he thinking?
The inspiration? A challenge issued by Accelerator Active Energy, a brand endorsed by Kelce, who promised 25 cases of their product and a signed jersey to anyone daring enough to get the tattoo.
Jones, who saw a viral Jason Kelce tattoo circulating online, figured he could take it a step further — and he did.
'I had to help Travis get a bit bigger, better tattoo,' Jones shared with TMZ Sports. 'They made me an offer. It was a hell of an offer. So I said, 'You know what? I got to do this.''
The result? A vibrant, full-color tattoo on his thigh featuring a nearly-naked Travis Kelce holding a flaming Accelerator can in front of his crotch.
The attention to detail is hard to ignore — especially since Jones humorously pointed out that Kelce's can is 'bigger than the Eagle head between Jason's legs,' referencing the now-famous tattoo of his brother.
While Jones is a die-hard Cowboys fan, his admiration for Kelce runs deep — particularly through fantasy football. But part of his motivation was fueled by rivalry, especially after the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win.
'I couldn't let an Eagle have all the spotlight,' he explained. 'I had to back Travis up.'
With Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift constantly making headlines, Jones was asked about how the pop icon might react to his bold body art.
'My feeling is she would love it — just the fun nature of it,' he said. 'It's a badass tattoo. It's gonna be a fun conversation starter.'
Even his daughters, who are huge Swifties, are hopeful that the superstar will notice the ink and maybe even comment on it.
Jones has no intention of hiding the tattoo either — in fact, he's eager to show it off, especially if the Chiefs play the Cowboys in Dallas this Thanksgiving.
'The tattoo comes with its story,' Jones added. 'A tattoo with a good story is key.'
And in this case, it's a story that's already taken the internet by storm — one thigh, one can, and one Kelce at a time.

'Sick to my stomach': NaLyssa Smith reacts to Dallas Wings trade that ends shared WNBA journey with girlfriend

NaLyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington. Image via: Getty Images NaLyssa Smith's emotional post-trade reaction has captured headlines and hearts. After the Dallas Wings unexpectedly traded her to the Las Vegas Aces. The move ended her brief tenure with the team, but sadly, it also broke up her reunion with longtime girlfriend and teammate DiJonai Carrington. The trade, which sent Smith to Las Vegas in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick, blindsided the 24-year-old forward, who admitted she 'never saw it coming.' NaLyssa Smith was emotional over the WNBA trade that ends the Dallas Wings' stint and splits from DiJonai Carrington It was supposed to be a fresh start in Dallas Wings for NaLyssa Smith, but quickly turned into an abrupt goodbye. After a sluggish season start with both the team and her personal performance, Smith was dealt to the Las Vegas Aces. She took to X to express the gut punch of the news: 'Sick to my stomach dawg, never seen this coming but… I love you Dallas nation, thank you 4 everything.' — NaLyssaSmith (@NaLyssaSmith) Smith was averaging just 6.7 points and 4.9 rebounds across 18 games with the Wings— career lows for a player who once dazzled as the No. 2 overall pick by the Indiana Fever in 2022. She and Carrington, who had been teammates at Baylor in the 2020-21 season, were finally reunited in Dallas this year, sharing both the court and their relationship openly. Carrington reacted in her own quiet way, simply posting a broken-heart emoji on X. Later, she followed up with shared photos of her and Smith on and off the court, accompanied by mending heart and infinity emojis. T he couple had built hopes around this shared WNBA chapter, especially after both were acquired in the offseason by Dallas. But those dreams were short-lived. 'I love you wifeyyyy take care of tha kidsss,' Smith added in a repost of Carrington's images, a tender message layered with pain. Yet, in the midst of heartbreak, Smith turned to optimism. 'On another note tho if I could've chose anywhere to go it would've been Vegas so hella excited 4 this new opportunity wit my goat,' she wrote in a follow-up post. The "GOAT" in question is widely assumed to be three-time WNBA MVP and two-time champion A'ja Wilson, who anchors the Aces. Las Vegas is currently fighting to stabilize their season and regain their championship form. Travis Kelce just revealed who he desperately wants on New Heights — and it's not Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce says he 'wants so bad' one surprising guest on his podcast (Getty Images) While fans of New Heights have long hoped for Taylor Swift to grace the podcast stage alongside boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, the NFL star's latest comments suggest those dreams might not come true anytime soon. Despite the overwhelming public interest in seeing Swift guest-star, Kelce shocked many when he named NFL and MLB legend Deion Sanders as his top pick instead. Travis Kelce's dream podcast guest leaves fans stunned—his answer was bold and totally unexpected During a recent appearance on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast with former NFL stars Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, Kelce was asked who his dream guest would be for New Heights. Rather than choosing his globally famous girlfriend — who has never appeared on the show — Kelce responded without hesitation: 'Man, I want to get Deion Sanders on so bad. I want to talk to him about the football and baseball world that he was in in the late '80s, early '90s, and just chop it up. ' Kelce continued, expressing his admiration for Sanders' rare feat of excelling in two professional sports. 'He was always one of my favorite guys. I played every sport imaginable growing up, and I always wanted to be one of those guys that played both. Played two. Two-sport professional athlete,' Kelce added, before acknowledging the almost mythical nature of Sanders' dual-sport legacy. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo 'No f—ing chance. No shot. The story about him playing in both — he had to helicopter from one in the same day… it was crazy.' Travis Kelce Talks NFL Retirement, Chiefs Super Bowl Loss + Bussin' With The Boys Meets Taylor Swift Sanders, who is now the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, is widely celebrated as one of the greatest athletes of all time. With a touchdown in the NFL and a home run in the MLB within the same week, his legacy as a two-sport icon is unmatched. He remains one of just seven players since 1970 to achieve this feat, alongside the legendary Bo Jackson. While Kelce's choice makes sense for sports fans, it was hard not to notice the absence of Swift from the conversation. Her name has come up frequently on New Heights, but a guest spot has yet to materialize, despite the show's booming success partially fueled by Kelce's relationship with the pop superstar. Off the field, Kelce has become a household name, not just for his football accolades but also for his media presence. Despite enduring his worst season statistically since his rookie year, the Kansas City Chiefs star remains committed to the game. He chose to return for a 13th NFL season, even after contemplating retirement following a Super Bowl loss. With New Heights hosting megastars like LeBron James and Ben Stiller, Kelce's guest list ambitions remain high. But for now, fans may need to accept that a Swift episode is still a distant dream — especially with Coach Prime topping Kelce's wish list. White House-donated Trump portrait quietly replaces unflattering one in Colorado Capitol

A presidential portrait with Donald Trump's approval now hangs in the Colorado Capitol after his complaints got a previous one of him taken down. Following Donald Trump's criticism of a prior portrait, a new image by Vanessa Horabuena now hangs in the Colorado Capitol. (AP Photo/Thomas Peipert)(AP) The new portrait by Tempe, Arizona, artist Vanessa Horabuena is a sterner, crisper image than Sarah Boardman's painting of Trump that had hung since 2019. Last spring, Trump posted on social media that Boardman 'must have lost her talent as she got older' and 'purposely distorted' him, criticisms the Colorado Springs artist denied. By the day after that, Boardman's painting was gone, put into museum storage. New Trump portrait replaces controversial painting in Denver Capitol The Horabuena portrait donated by the White House a month or so ago went up this week after a Thursday decision by Lois Court, a former state lawmaker who chairs the Capitol Building Advisory Committee that helps select artwork for the Capitol in downtown Denver. "There was a blank on the wall. It seemed inappropriate. We knew that the White House had sent us this replacement and it simply made sense to put it up,' Court said. The White House donated the Horabuena portrait a month or so ago, said Court. Horabuena is a 'Christian worship artist' who has done several other depictions of Trump as well as Abraham Lincoln, Mount Rushmore and Jesus Christ, according to her website. Trump's portrait finds a wall, but for how long? On Tuesday, the Colorado statehouse was sleepy with lawmakers out of session and no schoolchildren visiting the historic building. A smattering of tourists took photos of the new portrait. Horabuena did not return a phone message Tuesday seeking comment. 'Thank you to the Highly Talented Artist, Vanessa Horabuena, and the incredible people of Colorado,' Trump posted Tuesday on his social media platform, Truth Social. The advisory committee is considering whether to replace them with portraits of past governors to mark the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood next year.
