(Image via Ubisoft)
Assassin's Creed Shadows Hunting the Hunters quest tasks the players to eliminate six deadly Set River Killers. Following the rescue of Rufino mission, both Naoe and Yasuke must dismantle the network that threatens some innocent lives across Feudal Japan.
The mission needs to track down some dangerous targets and confront dark truths. The success here hinges upon precise elimination and deciphering the coded plans of killers. Here is how you can finish the mission in an efficient way.
Track down
Seta River Killers
and eliminate them
The primary objective here is the elimination of six specific Seta River Killers. The assassins operate under the codenames. They are scattered all across varied regions. Just locate them with the Objective board in the Hideout.
While initial targets offer freedom, eliminating the specific ones would reveal the whereabouts of the others later within the chain. Stealth and precision here are paramount as every killer remains guarded in the territory.
Seta River Killers Quest (Hunting the Hunters Quest) + Recruit Rufino Assassin's Creed Shadows
Every target here resides in a distinct and quite often fortified location. For instance, one of them lurks in Yawata Plains' Bamboo Cutter's Camp, while the other operates near Shoryuji Castle within Yamashiro, Iwashimizu Shrine's west.

To find Stalker near Seta Bridge in Omi will lead you northward, towards Trader on Lake Biwa coast. You can expect varied environments needing adaptable infiltration tactics.
Execute eliminations and gather intel
To assassinate every player would yield vital rewards, including currency (Mon), significant XP, and some crucial quest items. The items are quite primarily the encoded messages or the kill assignments. Securing documents is important, not just for progress but also for uncovering a broader conspiracy.
The Stalker, Builder, Trader, Collector, Exterminator, and Tormentor each guard the puzzle's piece.
A
pproach every encounter in a strategic way. Builder can be found in Bamboo Cutter's Camp in Yawata Plains. The collector lurks near Shoryuji Castle. Stalker, on the other hand, waits on Seta Bridge's east, and Trader remains hidden in the hut that's nearby Lake Biwa. The Tormentor resides near Takatsuki Castle.
There are some targets, including the Exterminator within restricted Koriyama Camp, which is south of Muggy Lands, that are best taken down from behind silently. The others may need to navigate the hostile patrols or use some environmental advantages. The key here is the elimination of all without triggering widespread alarms and ensuring you can secure their intel safely before moving on.
Confront Rufino and complete the mission
Once all the six Seta River Killers get eliminated, return back to Rufino at Hideout.
There, the collected encoded messages are presented to him, and it will trigger a critical cutscene. Rufino will grapple with bloodshed and express his regret. The narrative would present dialogue choices that reflect the pragmatism and resolve of Naoe and Yasuke, respectively. However, neither would drastically alter the core outcome here.
To choose either "This is what it takes" of Yasuke or Naoe's "Your hands aren't clean" will allow for proceeding the scene. Rufino would then decipher messages and reveal the meeting location for the plot's architect. Such revelation would directly set the stage for the next mission, titled "Man Behind the Curtain," thereby continuing the conspiracy's mastermind pursuit. With it all, the "Hunting the Hunters" quest would conclude.

No arrests yet in Duronto theft case
Patna: Two days after a daring theft on the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Duronto Express (12282), no arrests have yet been made. Valuables worth lakhs of more than 12 passengers, including women, were stolen in five coaches on Thursday night. The thieves escaped unchallenged by pulling the alarm chain between Paraiya and Kastha near Gaya, along the DDU-Gaya Grand Chord section of East Central Railway (ECR). The absence of security on board has drawn widespread criticism. "How can such a premier train be allowed to pass through a known vulnerable zone without any security personnel on board?" asked one victim, Suchi Smita, in her statement to police. "If there had been an RPF escort party, this incident would not have occurred," she added. Preliminary investigations suggest that CCTV cameras inside the AC coaches were either not working or failed to record during the incident. Several passengers questioned the absence of TTEs and coach attendants at the time. "It felt like we were abandoned. We kept asking – where are the TTEs, where is the security? We were just left to our fate," the passengers told police. "The fear and helplessness were worse than the loss itself," they added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Honda SP160: Now with More Power and Style Honda Learn More Undo An RPF team led by Rafiganj inspector Ramshuber is examining footage from CCTV cameras at DDU station, from where the gang is believed to have boarded the train. "All possible efforts are being made to get clues to the criminals' exact identities and modus operandi for crimes on such a premier train," the RPF inspector said. Gaya GRP inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh said raids were being conducted at hideouts of known 'luggage lifters'. "No exact clue has been found yet, but investigations are progressing in the right direction," he said. Meanwhile, the incident has left passengers traumatised and sparked renewed demands for overhauling security protocols on overnight express trains passing through crime-prone zones.
