Missing BTS Suga? Reliving his D-DAY tour fashion from ripped jeans, oversized tees, to rockstar vibes
BTS' Suga made a signature look for himself during the D-Day tour, which included ripped jeans, tailored jackets and long hair.
When BTS' Suga said in 2023 that he'd see us in 2025, he meant every word. As the wait stretches on, ARMY misses the rapper and his signature smile, finding joy in every rare sighting, which could just be in the form of a restaurant autograph. So, while we count down the days until he's back spitting fire on stage, let's take a look back at the fashion moments from his D-DAY tour that made just as many waves as his electrifying performances.
Long hair, tailored jacket, a look that fans won't forget
Long hair, don't care—that seemed to be Suga's unspoken motto during the tour. Dressed in jackets, ripped jeans and loose shirts, this became his trademark look. As a global ambassador for Valentino since early 2023, Suga had prominently featured the brand's designs in his tour wardrobe. Notably, during performances, he donned custom Valentino suits crafted by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. These ensembles included double-breasted tailored jackets adorned with the iconic Valentino studs and the Valen Tie from the Fall/Winter 2023-24 "Black Tie" collection. The jackets were personalised with "D-DAY" printed on the front.
A standout ensemble featured a custom-designed white outfit by the brand. This look included a reversible nylon bomber jacket, shimmering with tonal sequins, paired with denim trousers and a white t-shirt. ARMY won't quite forget the rapper, dressed in white, walking across the stage, signaling the crowds to sing louder.
Suga doesn't just wear fashion, he owns it. His style isn't about playing it safe; it's about fusing classiness with high-end sophistication. Ripped jeans? Not just a phase, more like a signature. He gravitates toward premium denim from brands like Fear of God, bringing that raw, rebellious energy to the stage. The distressed details and relaxed fits contrast sharply, in the best way possible, with his tailored Valentino pieces, proving that luxury and streetwear don't just coexist, they thrive together in Suga's world. As one fan aptly describes on Twitter, that baggy look just added more fire to his performance. 'He looks like a rockstar that you don't want to mess with: The kid that sits in the back bench.'
His style isn't just about the clothes. It's about the finishing touches that make his outfits unmistakably his. Accessories aren't extras, they're essential to his aesthetic. Take his earlier Chanel Gabrielle bag—a piece that adds a subtle flex to his fit, blending luxury with that 'I-just-threw-this-on' energy. It's practical, it's stylish, and it screams understated opulence.
Then there's his love for headwear. Slouchy beanie that gives him an off-duty musician vibe? Sleek cap that sharpens his silhouette? Bring it on. Chokers, why not? Suga knows how to top off a look, literally. These pieces aren't just about style. hey bring an air of mystery and nonchalance, a nod to his persona both on and off stage. He plays with textures, colours, and fits, proving that sometimes, the smallest details make the loudest impact.

Documentary ‘Sudan, Remember Us' screens in Moroccan cinemas
The film, which focuses on the Sudanese revolution and the role of youth and art in resistance, is being shown in various locations including Tetouan, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech. The documentary Sudan, Remember Us, directed by French journalist-turned-filmmaker Hind Meddeb, is currently screening in cinemas across Morocco until June 29, as part of a tour in collaboration with Cinémathèque de Tanger. The film recently won the TV5Monde Plus Audience Award at the 22nd African Film Festival of Tarifa-Tangier (FCAT 2025). The film originally premiered on August 30, 2024, in the Giornate degli Autori section at the 81st Venice International Film Festival. It follows the lives of five young Sudanese revolutionaries—Shajane, Maha, Muzamil, Rufaida and Khattab—as they confront authoritarian rule through political and artistic expression. Through poems, chants, and unwavering activism, the film paints a collective portrait of a generation determined to fight for freedom in Khartoum. The narrative traces their journey from the historic 57-day sit-in at the Army headquarters to the June 3, 2019, massacre, the 2021 military coup, and the outbreak of war that ultimately pushed them into exile. The documentary not only highlights personal and political resilience but also sheds light on the broader context of military violence in regions like Darfur, Kordofan, and Blue Nile. Produced by Abel Nahmias of Echo Films, Michel Zana and Alice Ormières of Blue Train Films, and Tao Guiga of My Way, the France-Tunisia co-production amplifies the voices of a generation seeking justice and change, bringing their struggle to a global audience.

BTS' Suga Officially Discharged from Military Service
It's official—Suga, member of global K-pop phenomenon BTS, has completed his mandatory military service in South Korea, making him the last of the septet to do so. His quiet discharge on Saturday, June 21, wraps up a major chapter for the band, setting the stage for a long-anticipated reunion. Big Hit Music, BTS' management label, confirmed in a statement: 'We confirm that Suga effectively completed his alternative service on June 18 by using his remaining leave. His official discharge date is June 21.' Unlike the public fanfare that surrounded some of his fellow members' releases, Suga opted for a low-key exit from service due to concerns over crowd control. The rapper and producer served as a social service agent—an alternative to active duty—following a prior shoulder surgery. He's been on hiatus with BTS since the group paused collective activities in 2022, when Jin first enlisted. What's next for BTS? With all seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—now free of military obligations, the road is wide open for a massive comeback. According to an NH Securities report, the band's biggest-ever world tour is expected to launch in 2026, although Big Hit has yet to confirm any dates. Shortly after his discharge, Suga took to Weverse to thank fans and offer a heartfelt apology, referencing a drunk-driving incident in 2023 that led to a court-imposed fine of 15 million won (around AED 40,000). 'I'm sorry for the disappointment and concern caused by what happened last year,' he wrote. Fans across the globe are already gearing up for what could be a historic return. One thing's clear—ARMY's wait might finally be coming to an end.
