Maya Jama has finally confirmed her romance with footballer Ruben Dias after months of speculation, and fans couldn't be happier for the glamorous couple. The Love Island host, 30, made things official with the Manchester City star, 28, during a sun-soaked trip to the Amalfi Coast just days before her return to ITV2 for the new series of the dating show on June 9.
Maya shared a string of snaps from their romantic Italian getaway, including a sweet mirror selfie of the pair in their hotel room and a video of herself diving into the sea, which looks like it was filmed by Ruben.
One cheeky clip even showed Ruben applying suncream with the caption "perv cam". Maya captioned the post: "Amalfi coasting." Fans were quick to show their support, with one gushing: "You two look so good together," and another commenting: "I'm sorry, Ruben must be special because I ain't seen Maya hard launch anyone but one person."

Things only escalated from there, as Maya was seen attending one of Ruben's football matches in Portugal in March 2025. A month later, the pair were photographed kissing and cuddling at KSI's Baller League football event at London's Copper Box Arena.
According to reports from The Sun, the relationship has become more serious in recent weeks. Maya is said to have introduced Ruben to her mum, Bernadette, and has been making an effort to learn her partner's native language by taking Portuguese lessons.
Ruben Dias joined Manchester City in 2020 for a reported £57 million, and is one of the most respected defenders in the world. Before dating Maya he was in a relationship with Portuguese singer April Ivy, and has also previously been linked to former Love Island contestant Arabella Chi.
Maya's love life has been in the spotlight ever since she dated Stormzy. The couple split up in 2019, which the rapper later called his "biggest regret", and they reunited in 2023 to give things another try. However, they broke up again for good last summer, citing differences in what they wanted from their lives and for the future.
In an interview with the Evening Standard last November, which is around the time she met Ruben, Maya opened up about what she is currently looking for from a relationship.
She shared: "'I am so happy right now but the next person I meet I want to marry and have kids with, so obviously I'm feeling fussy. I've created such a nice life for myself alone and I don't want anyone who's not going to add to that.
"I'm in this lovely bubble and I don't want you unless you make me happy. If you're not, I kind of don't need you." Given Ruben went on to become her partner and has now met the family, maybe he could be that person for Maya.

Zizzi Newport to give away free sundaes if it's hot enough
The offer is available at the Newport branch in Friars Walk, as part of a nationwide promotion running throughout July. The Italian restaurant chain will give away 29 free sundaes per location each time the temperature reaches 29°C, totalling more than 4,000 free desserts across the UK. To claim a sundae, customers simply need to show that the temperature at their current location is 29°C or higher on their phone's weather app. Katy Lomax, brand and customer experience director at Zizzi, said: "We know that Brits are obsessed with discussing the weather, and there's nothing better than something refreshing to cool you down on a hot day, especially when it's free. "We want to help as many people as possible beat the heat with one of our delicious sundaes. "Get them while it's hot." Sundae options include the Caramello, made with salted caramel and vanilla gelato, whipped cream, honeycomb cheesecake, salted caramel sauce, caramel crunch, and a stroopwafel. The Dragon Fruit & Wild Strawberry sundae features dragon fruit sorbet, panna cotta and wild strawberry gelato, pink meringue, whipped cream, and strawberry coulis. The Chocolate Brownie sundae combines chocolate and salted caramel gelato with brownie pieces, whipped cream, honeycomb, and both chocolate and salted caramel sauces.
