As part of this unique program, laptops were distributed to high scorers in the recent board examinations. The initiative aimed to underscore ZEISS's dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering a technologically empowered future through education.

Select 40 academic achievers, from Bengaluru, were selected from Government High School Hebbagodi, Government High School Chandapura, Nazareth School Chandapura, Government PU College for Girls (Ramamurthy Nagar), Government High School Anekal, and St. Peter's High School Kengeri.

Just ahead of launch, Vivo has also revealed several crucial features of the smartphone to create hype for the smartphone. Vivo V60 5G: Specifications and features As per the dedicated microsite of Vivo V60 5G, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which claims to offer 27% faster CPU, 30% stronger GPU, and a 26% boost in gaming efficiency. It will come with a ZEISS integrated triple camera setup that will include a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto lens with a Sony IMX882 sensor, and an ultrawide camera. The Vivo V60 5G will offer features such as ZEISS multifocal portrait, 10x telephoto stage portrait, Vivo X wedding vLog, and more. Furthermore, the Vivo V60 features a slim quad-curved display that includes narrow bezels and 3D curves. It will offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection from dust and water. Apart from these upgrades, the smartphone gets greater Google Gemini integration with cross-app action. However, more functionalities are to be revealed during launch. Lastly, the smartphone is confirmed to be backed by a massive 6500mAh battery, despite retaining a slimmer build. It is expected to support 90W wired fast charging. Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has confirmed the launch of the V60 5G smartphone in India on August 12. The company has also revealed some key specifications of the smartphone including processor details, colour options, and more. Additionally, the smartphone will feature a camera system co-engineered with the German optics brand Zeiss. Vivo V60 5G smartphone will be the successor to the Vivo V50, which made its debut in India in February 2025. Vivo V60 5G: What to expect Vivo has confirmed that the V60 smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The smartphone is likely to include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo V60 5G will be available in India in three colour variants: Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. The company has revealed the design of the smartphone, which now appears to be inspired by the design of the recently launched Vivo X200 FE smartphone. The Vivo V60 features a similar-looking pill-shaped rear camera module. The smartphone also features Vivo's signature Aura Light system. As for the cameras, Vivo has confirmed that the smartphone will get a 50MP telephoto lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 10x zoom support. Vivo will launch its latest V-series phone, the Vivo V60, in India on August 12. The company has confirmed several key specs before launch. The full design has also been revealed. Where the V50 went for wide and ultrawide camera setup, with the V50, Vivo is going back to its roots, sort of, by giving a proper telephoto to once again enable portrait photography – while keeping the ultrawide as well. So, while the V50 had dual cameras, the V60 has three – wide, ultrawide, and zoom. Vivo continues to offer ZEISS tuning here as well meaning that the V60 could be one of the most capable and compelling phones in the market at are other big upgrades, too, chiefly around performance and longevity. The V60 is confirmed to come rocking Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a step-up over the V50's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. RAM and storage options are yet to be announced. The battery is bigger. The V60 packs a larger 6,500mAh, 500mAh more than the V50. Vivo hasn't specified charging speed yet. The V50 can do 90W. Given that the battery is bigger, the V60 could get 80W charging, but we'll back to the cameras, the Vivo V60 is set to arrive with a total of four cameras. For the primary, Vivo is using a 50-megapixel Sony lMX766 sensor paired to an unspecified lens with optical image stabilisation. The secondary and tertiary cameras use a 50-megapixel Sony lMX882 with telephoto lens with optical image stabilisation and another unspecified ultrawide camera. The front camera is a 50-megapixel paired to a lens with 92-degree field of view (FOV). All the cameras get ZEISS treatment. Vivo has also put some of its recent photography chops such as stage and four-season portraits along with a bunch of AI quirks like AI Magic Move. Vivo will offer the V60 in a choice of Auspicious Gold, Mist Gray, and Moonlit Blue. The phone will have a high degree of dust and water resistance with IP68 and IP69 ratings. The display will be quad-curved and the phone will run the latest Vivo Funtouch OS by the history of these phones, we can expect Vivo to price the V60 at around Rs 40,000.
