Zawya2 days ago

Dubai, UAE – RIMOWA has been engineering iconic travel companions to last a lifetime since 1898 and has launched its first premium Connected TV (CTV) campaign in the UAE, in partnership with Spark Foundry and ThePubverse by ArabyAds. The campaign debuts across LG's Home Screen environment, designed to reach high-net-worth individuals with high-impact Roadblocks and native display formats.
This strategic media launch marks RIMOWA's entry into full-screen CTV storytelling in the region, a continuation of the brand's exploration into purposeful travel, personal evolution, and the pursuit of progress. The creative features global icons such as Lewis Hamilton, Jay Chou, and Rose, underscoring the brand's modern relevance and luxury edge.
'With RIMOWA, the goal wasn't just visibility, it was intention,' said Fred Rizkallah, Senior Director of Business Development at ThePubverse 'We worked closely with Spark Foundry to create a Connected TV experience that feels considered, not intrusive, one that reflects the quiet confidence of a brand built on quality and purpose. This campaign meets audiences where they are, but more importantly, in a way that respects how they think and live.
Targeting parameters include viewers of luxury sports and travel content, heavy streamers, and owners of 60-inch+ LG TVs. The ad placements were curated to align with affluent audience segments using LG's ACR data, reaching users who opt into premium content experiences and ad-free services.
This latest instalment reflects RIMOWA's ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, individuality, and the stories that emerge from movement.
The campaign features a mix of LG CTV Roadblocks, owning the entire screen during peak exposure times, and native run-of-site placements that maintain sustained visibility in high-end digital environments.
'Connected TV gives us a rare opportunity to tell meaningful stories in the spaces where people are most relaxed and receptive,' said Rand El Ghoussaini, Media Manager at Spark Foundry. 'With RIMOWA and ThePubverse, we created an experience that mirrors the brand's essence: thoughtful, refined, and built to resonate with today's luxury-minded audience. It's about reaching people not just where they are, but how they live.

Austrian Grand Prix: Dominant Lando Norris secures pole position

A dominant Lando Norris delivered the perfect response to his Montreal horror show by securing an emphatic pole position for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix. Norris' world championship bid was dealt a major setback a fortnight ago when he ran into the back of his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. But the British driver has been in excellent form at the Red Bull Ring, topping all of the practice sessions he has competed in, before landing the 12th pole of his career. Norris' margin over second-placed Charles Leclerc was a huge 0.521 seconds – the biggest of the year so far at the shortest track on the calendar. Piastri, who leads Norris by 22 points in the title standings, could manage only third, 0.583 secs behind his teammate with Lewis Hamilton fourth. Piastri was unable to complete his final lap in Q3 after Alpine's Pierre Gasly spun ahead of him. After landing his first win of the season last time out in Canada, George Russell ended up in fifth, but Max Verstappen could manage only seventh after he complained that his Red Bull was 'undriveable'. Norris admitted he made a fool of himself when he collided with Piastri in Montreal, and was warned of 'tough conversations' by McLaren team principal Andrea Stella. However, the 25-year-old has been in a class of one so far here, and he will start the 11th round of this 24-race season as the favourite to claim a win which could serve as a springboard to get his title charge back on track a week out from his home event at Silverstone. Norris' first lap in Q3 placed him two tenths faster than anyone else, and he then pulled out more than half-a-second with his next lap. 'It was a good lap, that's for sure,' said Norris. 'I feel like my first lap in Q3 was good but I knew I could get more time and I did exactly that. I did what I planned to do and when I do that and it goes right it is usually very good. 'Some of my tough moments have been in qualifying, so to have a performance like that is exciting. I am very happy with today but I want to prove it to myself over and over again and I hope this is just the beginning.' Verstappen is 43 points off the championship pace and he faces the prospect of losing further ground following a disappointing qualifying session at a venue he has so often ruled. Verstappen has won five times in the Styrian mountains, and taken the last four pole positions here, but he has looked out of sorts in his unruly Red Bull machine. 'The car is completely undriveable,' he said over the radio after finishing nearly a second behind Norris. 'It is even worse than before. I don't even know what to say.' Verstappen's Red Bull teammate Yuki Tsunoda qualified only 18th. Ollie Bearman out-qualified Haas teammate Esteban Ocon for the fourth time of his rookie campaign, progressing to Q2 and finishing 15th. One of the grid's other rookies, Gabriel Bortoleto, impressed to haul his Sauber into Q3 for the first occasion in his career. He will start eighth on Sunday.

Newbury and Jebel Ali Racecourse cement ties following successful race collaboration

Mr Ubiquitous delivered a stunning performance to land the Jebel Ali Racecourse Handicap in impressive fashion at the Newbury Racecourse. Ridden by Jack Nicholls and trained by Harry Eustace, the three-year-old gelding surged late between horses to win by half a length, confirming his upward trajectory. Mr Ubiquitous was drawn in stall 2 and settled at the rear of the seven-runner field. As the pace quickened with two furlongs to run, Nicholls—still in only his second season in the saddle—showed maturity beyond his years. He waited patiently for a gap to appear before switching left, then slicing between rivals to produce a powerful burst that took him to the front inside the final 100 yards. The race, run over seven furlongs on good to firm ground, saw This Farh (trained by David Loughnane) dictate matters from the front, hitting the lead over a furlong out under Rossa Ryan. For a moment, it looked like he might hold on, but Mr Ubiquitous's finishing speed proved too much. Tolerance, trained by George Boughey and ridden by William Buick, finished strongly from off the pace but was always doing his best work too late, finishing another length behind in third. 'It is always a pleasure to be at Newbury Racecourse — a racecourse that reflects excellence,' said Mohamed Al Ahmed, General Manager of Jebel Ali Racecourse. 'I was delighted to see a vibrant crowd and new initiatives introduced to enhance the race day experience. 'On behalf of Jebel Ali Racecourse & Stables, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Board Members of Newbury Racecourse for their continued guidance and support. 'Their leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our international relations and expanding the global presence, and to the leadership at Newbury for their warm hospitality. 'Our long-standing relationship, built over two decades, is more than symbolic; it is a strategic partnership built on shared values and a mutual vision for the future of racing. 'We look forward to further collaboration and to welcoming our Newbury counterparts in Dubai in the near future,' he added. 'Newbury Racecourse was delighted to welcome Mohamed Ahmed, General Manager at Jebel Ali Racecourse & Stables and to stage a race in celebration of our enduring friendship and partnership which extends more than two decades,' said Shaun Hinds, CEO Newbury Racecourse. 'The Jebel Ali Racecourse Handicap was well supported and saw Harry Eustace's Mr Ubiquitous bring up a hat-trick in Dubai-style sunshine. 'Despite continents separating our respective venues we share many core values with an emphasis on delivering a first class racing experience for participants and racegoers driving everything we do. I look forward to visiting Jebel Ali Racecourse & Stables again and, in the meantime, closely following their development plans,' Hinds added.

Riyadh Monopoly board game unveiled, showcasing Saudi capital's culture and landmarks

Riyadh Monopoly, a new edition of the world's most iconic board game, has officially been unveiled in the Saudi capital. The game was launched on June 26, 2025 at a high-profile event held at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Conference Centre, attended by government, cultural, education and media leaders. The launch marks Riyadh's first-ever Monopoly edition, designed to reflect the capital's most recognisable landmarks, historic streets and visionary developments — from ancient quarters to cutting-edge urban hubs like KAFD. Riyadh Monopoly Mazroua Al-Mazroua, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer, at the King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC), said: 'Riyadh Monopoly reflects our goal of making big, strategic projects accessible and engaging to all ages. 'As the leading destination for international and local businesses in Saudi Arabia, we are creating new opportunities for the next generation to thrive. We want the new generation to recognise the names and places shaping their future. What better way than through play?'. With over 50 per cent of Riyadh's population under the age of 20, the game aims to bring families and young people together through competitive play — all while promoting awareness of Saudi Arabia's rich culture, modern transformation, and investment in youth empowerment. The Riyadh Monopoly edition is expected to appeal to both local families and international visitors, offering a dynamic introduction to the city through an interactive lens. Riyadh Monopoly will hit stores across Saudi Arabia in September 2025, and is expected to become a popular souvenir and educational tool — helping residents and tourists alike explore the city's transformation from historic capital to modern megacity. Among the iconic locations included in the board game's latest edition are: KAFD Financial Plaza Souk Al Zal Diplomatic Quarter King Fahd Road The Ritz-Carlton British International School
