Trosmic Sports announces ‘Flux Halo'—A 'next-generation arena to redefine live entertainment in the GCC
Trosmic Sports has officially announced conceptual plans for Flux Halo, a next-generation indoor stadium that will transform the live entertainment and sports landscape across the GCC. Supported by multi-billion-dollar equity from Japan, Flux Halo is positioned to be one of the most technologically advanced and culturally relevant arenas in the world.
Mr. Bhardwaj, Mentor and Conceptual Founder of Trosmic Sports, stated, 'The core of Trosmic Sports and Flux Halo is a bold belief that sport is our global common language and the arena will be the most eloquent representation of that language. Every moment of illuminated time in Flux Halo will represent not only athletics but also humanity's endless journey to seek a path beyond the known.
GCC, Flux Halo is already being designated a flagship venue that could be the equivalent of proximity to some of the world's most recognized sites, such as the O2 Arena in London and Madison Square Garden in New York City. The stadium is scheduled to open around the middle of 2030, with a capacity of up to 20,000 spectators in a fully reconfigurable bowl. It will accommodate football, basketball, concert performances, esports tournaments, and large-scale conventions with a 200,000 m² column-free interior and a 75,000 m² retractable tensile roof.
It has chief creative director Kotetsu Yamamoto describe the Möbius-inspired ribbon form of the arena itself as "an architectural representation of perpetual motion," with systems that allow the configuration of the exterior with a programmable LED mesh of 50,000 m² for immersive digital light shows and real-time branding.
Drawing from the crown of Athena, which represents wisdom and guardianship of the athlete, the concept embodies the venue's desire to grow with its cultural influence. George Kunihiro, Director of Architecture & Planning, also mentioned that the arena will operate with net-zero energy using solar-harvesting LEDs, AI-enabled climate control, and recycled rainwater utilization.
"This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a role in the next great venue of our time," said Vaibhav Sharma, Chairman, Trosmic Sports. The project is expected to bring 10 million-plus visitors a year and have a diversified revenue stream that should ensure a robust long-term return. Equity is still open to regional and international investors (albeit the best ones are likely gone), being led by Ankur Tandon and Rohit Kumar on execution and growth strategy.
In late June, a Japanese delegation led by Yamamoto and Kunihiro will visit the UAE to get private briefings and visit sites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh from 29th June to 7th July.

Trosmic Sports announces Flux Halo, a landmark indoor arena in the GCC
Trosmic Sports has announced conceptual plans for Flux Halo, a next-generation indoor stadium that aspires to redefine live entertainment and sporting experiences in the GCC. Underpinned by $1 billion in available Japanese equity, Flux Halo represents a bold step toward creating one of the most technologically advanced and culturally impactful arenas in the world. While the final location remains under consideration within the GCC, Flux Halo is being positioned as a flagship venue to rival global icons such as London's O2 Arena and New York's Madison Square Garden. With a target opening in mid-2030, Flux Halo is designed to accommodate up to 20,000 spectators within a fully configurable bowl, seamlessly shifting between football matches, basketball games, other sporting events, concerts, esports tournaments, and large-scale conventions. 'At the heart of Trosmic Sports and Flux Halo lies a daring belief: that sport is our universal language, and this arena will be its most eloquent expression,' said Bhardwaj, mentor and conceptual founder of Trosmic Sports. 'Here, every spotlight will illuminate not just athletic prowess, but the enduring human quest to push beyond the known,' he added. The stadium will feature 200,000 m² of column-free interior space, capped by a 75,000 m² retractable tensile roof to allow events to proceed comfortably year-round. Kotetsu Yamamoto, chief creative director of the project, describes Flux Halo's signature Möbius-inspired ribbon form as "an architectural embodiment of perpetual motion". Wrapped in a 50,000 m² programmable LED mesh, the exterior will double as a digital canvas for immersive light shows, branding campaigns, and real-time statistics. The architecture of Flux Halo is inspired by the crown of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war and the guardian of heroes across all sports. 'Flux Halo was never meant to be just a stadium,' said Yamamoto. 'It's a visual statement and a modular system that adapts to the evolving culture around it.' George Kunihiro, director of Architecture and Planning, adds that 'solar-harvesting LEDs, AI-driven climate control, and rainwater-recycling systems will drive net-zero energy operations,' a benchmark few indoor arenas worldwide have achieved. The announcement comes at a time when GCC nations are accelerating their efforts to diversify their economies beyond hydrocarbons, with billions being channelled into tourism, culture, and live entertainment events infrastructure. From Qatar's World Cup-ready venues and Abu Dhabi's Louvre and F1 Circuit to Saudi Arabia's emerging cultural calendar, the region is increasingly positioning itself as a global hub. Yet, few concepts rival Flux Halo in scale, flexibility, or technological ambition. 'This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help shape the next great venue of our time,' said Vaibhav Sharma, chairman of Trosmic Sports. 'Flux Halo isn't just about entertainment; it's about regional pride, innovation, and creating something that leaves a legacy.' Equity remains open to both regional and international investors. Ekta Nirmalkar, a Trosmic board director, notes that the venue's diversified revenue streams, from luxury suites and ticketing to retail and naming rights, are projected to generate robust and recurring returns across a 10-year horizon. 'With an anticipated 10 million visitors annually, Flux Halo is engineered for both cultural impact and commercial success,' she said. The leadership team that brings the exceptional idea includes; Ankur Tandon, with over 15 years of experience in finance with American banks, with a focus on operational execution. His background in accounting, mergers, and global strategy brings practical oversight to the project's broader ambitions. Also, Rohit Kumar, director at Trosmic Sports, brings multi-sector leadership experience in institutional capital and cross-border business development. His role will focus on guiding long-term growth strategy for Flux Halo, with an emphasis on sustainable expansion and investor alignment. To build momentum and finalise design elements, Yamamoto and Kunihiro will lead a Japanese delegation to the UAE from June 29 to July 7, holding private briefings and exploratory site visits in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh. A regional sports infrastructure consultant commented: 'It's rare to see an indoor arena concept that combines such advanced sustainability with event versatility. If realised as planned, Flux Halo could reshape the live-events landscape in the Middle East.' With its blend of cutting-edge design, immersive digital architecture, and future-focused financial strategy, Flux Halo is more than a venue. It's a vision of the GCC's next chapter, one built on ambition, innovation, and global resonance.

India lower-order collapse gives England hope of dramatic test win
Another India lower-order collapse gave England a fighting chance of a thrilling victory in the first test at Headingley on Monday, with the hosts 21-0 in their second innings at the close of play on day four, chasing 371 to win. Josh Tongue, just as he did in the first innings, came to the fore when seeing off the Indian tail, with three wickets in four balls helping ensure the tourists lost their final six second-innings wickets for 31 runs. The collapse, which saw India all out for 364, gave the dangerous Jasprit Bumrah the chance to attack England before close of play, but neither opener, Zak Crawley nor Ben Duckett, looked troubled as they repelled the Indian attack until stumps. Reaching 371 would be England's second-highest successful test run chase against India, and the second-highest at Headingley, more than the Ben Stokes-inspired heroics on the same ground against Australia in 2019. "To get them all out and not lose a wicket in the last half hour, Ducky and Zak batted really well," Tongue told Sky Sports. "The first session we batted really well, I thought we were unlucky. The message was to hit the pitch as hard as we can. It flattened out in the second session. We just had to stay patient." Resuming day four on 90-2 in their second innings, with a lead of 96 runs, India captain Shubman Gill, who made his highest test score in the first innings, chopped onto his stumps to fall for eight, a second wicket for Brydon Carse. England sensed an opportunity, having dragged themselves back into the test on Sunday, but Rishabh Pant's 195-run partnership with KL Rahul swung momentum back in India's favour. RAHUL CENTURY The normally box-office Pant started his innings quite conservatively, happy to watch on as Rahul moved smoothly to his century, his ninth in tests, eight of which have come overseas. After smashing two sixes in three balls after lunch, however, Pant hit the accelerator and brought out his typically flamboyant shots to all corners of the ground, with his hundred meaning, for the first time, that there have been five India centuries scored in one test match. Pant eventually tried one shot too many, caught chasing another six on the boundary by Crawley for 118 before Rahul fell shortly after tea for 137, again chopping onto the stumps off the bowling of Carse. Then came the Tongue-inspired collapse, as the fast bowler took three wickets and the catch that brought about the end of India's innings as the touring side, having lost their final six first-innings wickets for 24 runs, fell apart again. Bumrah, the number one-ranked test bowler in the world, who took five wickets in the first innings, immediately grabbed the ball but got very little joy as Crawley remained unbeaten on 12, while Duckett will return for a tantalising Tuesday on nine. The odds are stacked against England on the final day, but there is hope at least. In 59 tests when defending totals of over 350 India have only lost once. That, however, was against England in 2022. "Someone's got to win tomorrow, it will be an interesting day," Rahul told Sky Sports. "The wicket is not as easy as the first innings, they won't find it as easy to hit the ball on the rise. Even if they get a big partnership, if we get a couple of wickets we'll be right in the game."
