Jason Day has made casual wear his signature on the PGA Tour. Even during practice rounds, when most players are relaxing their wardrobes, the Australian still stands out for his unique outfit choices.
This Wednesday was no exception, and Day attended TPC Deere Run for his practice round prior to the John Deere Classic wearing a comfortable button-up shirt and swim trunks. According to the X NUCLR account, the shirt Day was wearing is available in stores for $188.

The 13-time PGA Tour winner has been sponsored by Malbon Golf since the start of the 2024 season. Since then, he has abandoned the more traditional clothing style he wore when he was sponsored by Nike, migrating toward much more casual outfits.
Day has generated a lot of buzz with his sweatpants, vests, and loose-fitting shirts. So much so that last April he had to submit his outfit script to the Masters Tournament organizers to avoid a repeat of the situation from a year earlier.
As you may recall, during the 2024 Masters Day edition, he wore a vest with large letters that he had to remove in the middle of the round at the request of the officials.

This clothing style has as much to do with Day's personal identity as with the interests of his sponsors:
"I was kinda getting tired of wearing similar stuff over and over again," Day told Fox News in April 2024.
"I think it was to a point where I was like, 'You know what? I think I'm going to go more custom kinda stuff. Wear my own thing,'" he added.
"I was kinda sick of looking across at another athlete that was wearing the exact same thing as me, you know what I mean? On any given day, you're just walking by and it's like, 'Dang man, I'm losing my, to a certain degree, identity here.' I'm just like one of the other guys, which is totally fine."
Jason Day has had a solid 2025 season, whether or not it's due to his outfit choices. In 12 tournaments, he's missed just one cut and finished in four top-10s. His best result of the year was finishing tied for third at The American Express.

July 4 (UPI) -- Nip/Tuck, Fantastic Four and FBI: Most Wanted star Julian McMahon has died at the age of 56. His wife, Kelly, told Deadline Friday that the Australian actor -- and son of former Prime Minister William McMahon -- died Wednesday after a private cancer battle in Florida. "With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer," Kelly said. "Julian loved life. Doug Ghim holes out from fairway again at John Deere Classic for first 36-hole lead on PGA Tour
'I guess holing out two days in a row is always nice,' Ghim said. 'It's been a couple years since I holed out from the fairway. To get two back-to-back days is great.' He was at 12-under 130. Mexico Open winner Brian Campbell (66), David Lipsky (67), and Emiliano Grillo (66) were tied for second Ghim still feels a long way off from a chance to win for the first time at a tournament that has produced more first-time winners than any PGA Tour event since 1970. Rikuya Hoshino and Jesper Svensson each made birdie on their last hole to move the cut line to 5 under, only for Paul Peterson to take bogey on his last hole to move it back to 4 under. Advertisement But in the final group, Brendan Valdes drilled his tee shot on the par-4 18th, hit his approach to about 8 feet and holed the birdie putt for a 66. That moved the cut back to 5 under, eliminating 14 players from the weekend. Rickie Fowler and Jake Knapp wound up making the cut on the number. Meanwhile, 12 players were separated by two shots going into the third round, a group that includes Camilo Villegas, Sam Stevens, and Si Woo Kim. Stevens and Kim are trying to finish high enough to move up the world ranking that will be used next week to set the alternate list for the British Open.
