Tove Resort 2026 Collection

Vogue24-07-2025
Tove founders Camille Perry and Holly Wright have been simultaneously world and wardrobe building. Every collection is an expansion of their brand identity, affirming the direction of the customer and clothes they desire. The Tove resort collection is rooted in summer moments, with a wardrobe of new pieces to cater to them.
The piece most different from their typical offering was a field jacket, in a soft silhouette that made it a suitable companion for both the label's casual denim, and as a layer for the dresses. (Wearing technical outerwear atop evening wear has been a trend on recent runways.) 'It fills a gap that we were personally looking for,' they said at a preview.
The novel addition fitted in seamlessly with the tightly-tailored, double-crepe jackets and capri pants, both realized in slim silhouettes which they said their customer base is responding to. 'So we gave that to her again.' They also introduced wispy chiffon skirts, a mink-hued cashmere wrap cardigan, animal-print matching sets, and ballooning crepe trousers with drawstring cuffs.
True to form, though, the dresses were a core focus. 'We leaned into dresses heavily this time, it's what they love us for,' they explained. Long lengths dominated, but crafted with practicality that can be difficult to achieve with maxi hemlines: they hit right on the ankle, with enough fabric allowance to move with ease. The same double crepe used for the separates was utilized for fitted, slightly-capped-sleeve dresses with fabric knotted at the hips. A new fine, double-layered jersey brought a lightweight quality to a chartreuse dress with a ruched bodice, and knitted metallic and sequined fabrications were used for special occasion silhouettes. A red dress with waterfall ruffles down the skirt was a standout. 'It sums us up as a brand quite nicely,' Wright and Perry asserted. Attentive material choices––and the way that the founders observe how they behave and manipulate them––define Tove collections. In their decisive words: 'You can sketch something, but really the fabric leads.'

Meet designer behind fashion looks from Lunathi Mampofu and more stars

Ronie Lesadiwa Mahlakwane, who dresses stars including Nadia Nakai and LootLove. Tell us about yourself. Ronie Lesadiwa Mahlakwane is a young Black boy, the last born of four siblings, who was raised most of his life in the small village of Moroke, Limpopo. Tell us more about the Lawren Son Junior (LSJ) brand. LSJ is a legacy brand which is meant to be worn by generations. I pride myself in classic, custom designs that live beyond seasons and fashion cycles; pieces that, like conventional assets, can be passed on from one generation to another – an inheritance. This essence is captured in the name LSJ. Lawrence is my father's name, me being his son and junior a pet name given to a son named after his forefathers. How would you describe your brand? I believe that fashion can be used as an agent of sociopolitical change. My clothing is targeted at those who may be considered voiceless in this loud world; those who want to use the garments that they are draped in to rewrite history and leave behind a legacy that can be traced from one generation to another by threads. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LawrenSon Junior (@_lsjdesigns) How did you decide on fashion design as a career? Fashion has always been my first love but because there was a lack of information on the industry as a profession, I couldn't voice my desire to follow it. I had no reference to anyone from my village or province, who had become a success as a fashion designer. I studied IT at Rosebank College and during this time, I started making garments for family members and posted these on my social media. The rest, as they say, is history. What are you most proud of when it comes to your career? Seeing my work on TV almost every day still feels like a dream. What don't people know about you? That I am very shy around people most of the time, and I prefer everything about my life to be private. How do you keep up with the latest trends? Trends are seasonal, which has never been my cup of tea. I pride myself with timeless and classic pieces. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LawrenSon Junior (@_lsjdesigns) If you had the opportunity to collaborate with an international designer, who would that be and why? It would have to be Olivier Rousteing from Balmain. He's a creative genius whose work always takes me back to my drawing table to think even harder about LSJ. When did you get your first big break? When I got the opportunity to work with Gert Johan-Coetzee. He taught me a lot about the industry. Which project did you enjoy working on, and which celebrity/public figure was it with? It was season 1 and 2 of Young, Famous and African. I dressed the Naked DJ, Nadia Nakai, Kayleigh Schwark, Diamond and Zari the Boss Lady. What excites you most about fashion? It's fashion week season. I always feel like it is my time to be alive and tell my story, unapologetically so. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LawrenSon Junior (@_lsjdesigns) What skills are necessary to succeed in your career? Paying attention to detail and the finishing of your product. But mostly, you need to fall in love with fashion. What's the one fashion rule that you disagree with? Trying to be different, because this will always make you look like everyone. What's your tip on dealing with difficult people/clients? To always take their criticism as a way of learning every day and remember that the reason they came to you is because they believe in your work. What do you think is the most important quality to have in order to survive in your field? To take every work or gig as if it's the last work that people will remember you by. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LawrenSon Junior (@_lsjdesigns) What is the best career decision you have made so far? The best decision I've made is waking up every morning to do what I love. It doesn't feel like work at all. Which celebrity would you like to dress, locally? I haven't had the opportunity to dress Bonang Matheba and Zozibini Tunzi, former Miss Universe. I would love to dress those two powerful women. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what would you tell yourself? That Black child, it is possible! What's the one thing you won't compromise on? I will never compromise on attention to detail, quality and good finishing.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Most Glaring Omissions And Biggest Snubs

WWE SummerSlam will take place across two nights for the first time ever, but even then, there isn't enough space on the card for everyone. As has been the new norm in Triple H's era, less is deemed more. The typical Triple H-booked WWE pay-per-view has featured just five matches, which has often allowed for longer, typically better, bouts. On the flip side, critics have pointed out how that has excluded a plethora of top stars from even some of its biggest events, which can be detrimental both to show quality and fan experience. This year's blockbuster SummerSlam event is expanding its card slightly, with six announced matches for each night thus far. But even with an additional pair of three-hour pre-shows, a significant portion of WWE's deep and talented roster will be watching SummerSlam from the sidelines. Here are the biggest snubs and most glaring omissions from the 2025 WWE SummerSlam card. Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black will take place during WWE SummerSlam weekend. Just not at SummerSlam itself. The bout between two of SmackDown's most prominent upper midcarders will instead happen on the pre-SummerSlam edition of SmackDown. Of course, that gives the blue brand a marquee match on its go-home show, but it also leaves Priest, one of its top stars, and Black, the recently returning hard-hitter, off of SummerSlam altogether. Particularly after Priest earned the praises of WWE officials by working through injuries and performing at an incredibly high level over the past few years, it's shocking that the former world champion isn't going to be on SummerSlam at all. Ditto for Black, who just made his triumphant return to WWE a few months ago and is a potential main eventer with the right booking. A memorable SmackDown bout could do the trick for Black and Priest, but it's not quite the same spotlight as performing in front of 40,000-plus fans at MetLife Stadium. Stephanie Vaquer Stephanie Vaquer got her breakthrough moment at last month's WWE Evolution, where she won a battle royal for a Women's World Championship match at Clash in Paris on Aug. 31. But when it comes to WWE Summerslam, it simply isn't in the cards for 'La Primera.' Over the past couple of weeks, Vaquer has been loosely feuding with her expected Clash in Paris opponent, Naomi, but with that event less than a month away, WWE hasn't been able to give her anything truly compelling to do. As Naomi is set to battle Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky at WWE SummerSlam, Vaquer is stuck playing the waiting game even though she's one of the hottest acts in all of WWE. Rusev vs. Sheamus As is the case with Priest vs. Black, Rusev vs. Sheamus is an upper midcard rivalry that has produced some solid TV content but is losing out on a SummerSlam spot in favor of other bigger priorities. Sheamus, however, ranks among WWE's most beloved legends while Rusev hasn't really gotten out of the gate since his recent return to WWE. The only thing of note Rusev has done is feud with Sheamus, and it's clear that the two have great chemistry and could produce a high-quality pay-per-view match if given the opportunity. In fact, Rusev and Sheamus have already delivered two very good bouts on Raw, and Sheamus, of course, is known for producing hard-hitting 'bangers' on PPV whenever he's given the chance. As of right now, however, neither Sheamus nor Rusev is operating outside of the tiny bubble that is their feud. It may take Sheamus and/or Rusev feuding with someone else on Raw to avoid being consistently left off pay-per-view cards as they will be at WWE Summerslam. The good news is that Raw's Netflix viewership has been strong, so they will still be performing in front of a large worldwide audience. Plus, there's an off chance that they face off yet again at Clash in Paris, an ideal event for their smash-mouth style of wrestling. Bayley Bayley has been venting about her absence from WWE SummerSlam 2025, so much so that it's blatantly obvious that it's all part of a storyline. The likely character direction for 'The Role Model' is a blockbuster heel turn, and the likely location for that is at SummerSlam. More specifically, Bayley is almost assuredly going to interfere in the 'No DQs, No Countouts Last Chance" Intercontinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria, costing Valkyria the match in the process. Still, Bayley has been doing some tremendous character work and delivering plenty of stellar in-ring performances. What's unfortunate is that she is the odd woman out at WWE SummerSlam, and it doesn't appear as if she'll ever get that marquee pay-per-view singles match against Lynch. LA Knight LA Knight is an unlucky victim of the circumstances surrounding Seth Rollins and plans for the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase. At last month's edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Knight shockingly beat Rollins due to a knee injury suffered mid-match by Rollins. Original plans had Rollins winning that match and then Knight getting his win back at WWE SummerSlam, a victory that would have been one of the biggest of Knight's career. Instead, Rollins' injury caused Knight to win abruptly in a very flat finish, and Rollins may still be pencilled in for a successful Money in the Bank cash-in after Saturday's main event between CM Punk and Gunther. So, where has that left Knight? Well, off the SummerSlam card and essentially out of the loop altogether. Chalk Knight's expected WWE SummerSlam absence as another hiccup standing in the way of 'The Megastar' after repeated missed opportunities by the creative team.

The Milan Fashion Week Spring 2026 Schedule Is Here

This article first appeared on Vogue Business. The Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collections are set to be a bumper season in Milan. Running 23 to 29 September, this Milan Fashion Week will feature 55 physical and four digital shows, up slightly on last season. But all eyes will be focused on a few showcases in particular, as the tectonic plates of many of the city's mega brands shift under new creative direction. First comes Gucci, which will stage an intimate presentation on Tuesday, to showcase Demna's much-awaited debut collection for the house. The event will explore the brand's past, present and future, Gucci has said. It's one of the season's most-anticipated moments, creatively and commercially, as the crown jewel of Kering's brand stable aims to turn the tide, after another set of sales declines announced last week. The next morning, Simone Bellotti will make his debut at Jil Sander, the next debut in OTB's creative shake-up following Glenn Martens's Margiela debut during couture week. And on Saturday afternoon, Louise Trotter will stage her first outing at Bottega Veneta. Versace is notably absent from the official schedule. The brand was set to stage its first runway show under new creative director Dario Vitale, who succeeded Donatella Versace in March (Versace remains at the brand as chief brand ambassador). There were rumors the Roman house would stage a presentation instead, to reveal Vitale's inaugural collection. But without a calendar slot, the plans remain to be seen. Debuts aside, there's plenty more to see. Diesel will kick off proceedings with a show on Tuesday afternoon. Milan powerhouses Fendi and Prada will return to the schedule, alongside mainstays Ferragamo, Tod's, Moschino and Max Mara. David Koma will stage his sophomore show at Blumarine. Meanwhile, Boss, Calcaterra, Federico Cina, Stella Jean and The Attico will each return to the calendar this season, after one or two seasons off. London-based brand Knwls will make its MFW debut on Wednesday night, perhaps setting its sights on international expansion after a two-season hiatus, while Indian streetwear-inspired label Dhruv Kapoor will also make its first outing on the womenswear calendar. Finally, Giorgio Armani will close out the week with a runway show on Sunday 28, celebrating the brand's 50th anniversary. Comments, questions or feedback? Email us at feedback@
