Tove Resort 2026 Collection

Tove founders Camille Perry and Holly Wright have been simultaneously world and wardrobe building. Every collection is an expansion of their brand identity, affirming the direction of the customer and clothes they desire. The Tove resort collection is rooted in summer moments, with a wardrobe of new pieces to cater to them. The piece most different from their typical offering was a field jacket, in a soft silhouette that made it a suitable companion for both the label's casual denim, and as a layer for the dresses. (Wearing technical outerwear atop evening wear has been a trend on recent runways.) 'It fills a gap that we were personally looking for,' they said at a preview. The novel addition fitted in seamlessly with the tightly-tailored, double-crepe jackets and capri pants, both realized in slim silhouettes which they said their customer base is responding to. 'So we gave that to her again.' They also introduced wispy chiffon skirts, a mink-hued cashmere wrap cardigan, animal-print matching sets, and ballooning crepe trousers with drawstring cuffs. True to form, though, the dresses were a core focus. 'We leaned into dresses heavily this time, it's what they love us for,' they explained. Long lengths dominated, but crafted with practicality that can be difficult to achieve with maxi hemlines: they hit right on the ankle, with enough fabric allowance to move with ease. The same double crepe used for the separates was utilized for fitted, slightly-capped-sleeve dresses with fabric knotted at the hips. A new fine, double-layered jersey brought a lightweight quality to a chartreuse dress with a ruched bodice, and knitted metallic and sequined fabrications were used for special occasion silhouettes. A red dress with waterfall ruffles down the skirt was a standout. 'It sums us up as a brand quite nicely,' Wright and Perry asserted. Attentive material choices––and the way that the founders observe how they behave and manipulate them––define Tove collections. In their decisive words: 'You can sketch something, but really the fabric leads.'

Tove Pre-Fall 2025 Collection

Tove's pre-fall 2025 collection had been in a state of flux until now. Ready and waiting to be revealed for some time, the release was put on hold, owing to fears it would be replicated by retailers, as has been the case in the recent past. So much so, they've taken legal action. 'We had to protect it,' founders Camille Perry and Holly Wright said at a preview. 'We're giving them loads of inspiration before we've even had the chance to sell it ourselves.' In the digital age this is, rather disappointingly, to be expected. For Perry and Wright, pre-fall felt like a 'representation of signatures.' Newness arrived in the form of higher hemlines and fresh takes on their interlaced knitwear––accented with custom textured-metal buttons. A new enveloping silhouette seen throughout was, while effortless as an end product, the result of a labor-intensive draping exercise, realized in various fabrications including supple leather and sequins (the latter was a Tove first). A scarlet, single-breasted wool coat that hits the shins is one of their favorite looks. 'There's an ease to everything,' they said. With a background working at Topshop (where they met), Perry and Wright are familiar with the nature of copy culture on the high street. But they stress that nowadays, it feels more prevalent. 'It was much more about capturing a moment,' Perry said about conjuring a certain mood, something they strive to do at Tove. Tove customers, a loyal cohort, will be pleased that pre-fall is finally here—available via the 'see-now, buy-now' model that many brands have adopted to ensure they can own the sales at the time of a debut. Even if this collection is mimicked, Perry and Wright have created a world (beyond the clothes themselves) that women want to invest in.
