Love Island star caught snubbing finalist and ‘ignoring' her during live final – but did you spot it?
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN ex Love Islander appeared to brutally snub one of the show's finalists during the show's live episode. During the final, all of the former Islanders made one last comeback to the villa to watch the champion be crowned. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 4 Love Island fans noticed that one ex Islander appeared to snub Yasmin Credit: Eroteme 4 Helena could be seen chatting away as she failed to listen to Yasmin's interview In a surprising result, fan-favourites Yasmin and Jamie found themselves finishing in third place being beaten by Shakira and Harry in second place and eventual winners, Toni and Cach. However, one former Islander appeared to totally dismiss Yasmin and Jamie as they could be seen chatting away throughout the couple's interview with host Maya Jama. Helena appeared distracted as she 'ignored' what Yasmin had to say and instead caught up with fourth place star Angel in full view of the cameras. Each time the shot focused on Maya, Helena could be seen speaking to her co-star as she failed to listen in to what Yasmin had to say. Noticing their antics online, one fan questioned: "What is Helena and Angel talking about." Before someone else echoed: "All I could see behind Maya was angel and Helena chatting away the whole time during yaz and Jamie's interview." It added further fuel to the fire about the long-standing girls divide this year. Helena had failed to see eye-to-eye with Yasmin, Shakira or Toni during her time in the villa as two rival girl groups quickly emerged. Along with Meg and Megan, Helena had clashes with the other three villa girls throughout but it seemed they had the last laugh when they made up the top three spots. After weeks of coupling up, dumpings, texts and triangles, the series came to a close with a battle between Toni & Cach, Shakira Khan & Harry Cooksley, Angel Swift & Ty Isherwood and Yasmin Pettet & Jamie Rhodes. Watch Love Island's Harrison roll his eyes and fake clap after ex Toni makes savage dig about him in live final However, it was the show's first American bombshell Toni and dancer Cach who got the most votes from fans after their rollercoaster journey on the show. Thrilled fans praised the result, with one saying: "I actually feel like I've won the World Cup. This is actually everything to me! "Seeing Megan and Dejon dumped, Angel fourth place, Yas, Shakira and Toni top 3, Toni and Cach win. Suddenly life is feeling real again." Someone else added: "Toni got the last laugh. A win and a nice man to take home. Bet Harrison is gutted. Karma is a b***h." Another added: "Toni being American and winning, iconic!!! And thank you Cach for being so amazing and loving. Well deserved." 4 Every time the camera cut to Maya she could be seen in deep conversation

Sean ‘Diddy' Combs denied release from jail to await sentencing
He was acquitted last month of the top charges – racketeering and sex trafficking – while being convicted of two counts of a prostitution-related offence. The conviction carries the potential for up to 10 years in prison. But there are complicated federal guidelines for calculating sentences in any given case, and prosecutors and Combs' lawyers disagree substantially on how the guidelines come out for his case. The guidelines are not mandatory, and Judge Arun Subramanian will have wide latitude in deciding Combs' punishment. The Bad Boy Records founder, now 55, was for decades a huge figure in pop culture. A Grammy-winning hip hop artist and entrepreneur with a flair for finding and launching big talents, he presided over a business empire that ranged from fashion to reality TV. Prosecutors claimed he used his fame, wealth and violence to force and manipulate two now-ex-girlfriends into days-long, drugged-up sexual performances he called 'freak-offs' or 'hotel nights'. His lawyers argued that the government tried to criminalise consensual, if unconventional, sexual tastes that played out in complicated relationships. The defence acknowledged that Combs had violent outbursts but said nothing he did came amounted to the crimes with which he was charged. Since the verdict, his lawyers have repeatedly renewed their efforts to get him out on bail until his sentencing, set for October. They have argued that the acquittals undercut the rationale for holding him, and they have pointed to other people who were released before sentencing on similar convictions. Defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo suggested in a court filing that Combs was the United States' 'only person in jail for hiring adult male escorts for him and his girlfriend'. The defence's most recent proposal included a 50 million-dollar (£37.6 million) bond and travel restrictions and expressed openness to adding on house arrest at his Miami home, electronic monitoring, private security guards and other requirements. Prosecutors opposed releasing Combs. They wrote that his 'extensive history of violence — and his continued attempt to minimise his recent violent conduct – demonstrates his dangerousness and that he is not amendable to supervision'.

Love Island 2025 winners crowned
The first American bombshell on the UK reality TV series and the professional dancer beat Shakira Khan, 22, from Burnley, and footballer Harry Cooksley, 30, who came second. Electrical engineer Jamie Rhodes, 26, came third with commercial banking executive Yasmin Pettet, 24, while Angel Swift, a 26-year-old aesthetics practitioner who entered the villa as a bombshell, came in fourth place with site engineer Ty Isherwood, 23. A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) Host Maya Jama revealed the winning couple for season 12 of the reality dating show during Monday night's live final. After their names were called, Toni embraced Cach before she thanked the British public for voting for them. Prior to the reveal Toni confirmed that Cach told her he loved her the night before – and that she had said it back. Along with the 2025 title, the couple also took home a £50,000 cash prize. Earlier in the episode the Love Island couples exchanged emotional words to one another. Toni, who was visibly emotional when making her speech, told Cach: 'I don't think I tell you enough, but the way you treat me has made this whole wacky ass experience worth it. 'I think everyone has seen how happy you've made me, and I feel like a different person. I'm just really thankful to be here with you. 'I don't think anyone's ever treated me as good as you do so thank you. You make me feel like a queen.' A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) Cach replied: 'I'm proud of you. You're gonna make me cry. You're so unapologetically yourself. It makes it so easy for you to operate the way I operate. 'I feel like our journey has been a roller coaster. I'm grateful for every moment. 'I don't think I could have done it with anybody else, to be honest with you, and I appreciate you.' Shakira told Harry that he was 'everything' she could want in a partner. She added: 'It's been an amazing last week and I'm excited for the future.' Harry replied and said: 'People say days are like weeks in here, but it really felt like I've known you a lifetime, and I'm so excited for the future, and I'll make so much time for you on the outside. 'My priorities have definitely shifted. You are my priority in life right now, so long may that continue.' Yasmin told Jamie that he became her 'sense of calm'. A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) 'I don't tell you enough, but I'm so genuinely appreciative of you and everything you've done for me in here because my journey would be so, so shit without you,' she added. Jamie replied: 'Every day, I get a feeling of wanting to be around you more and more and knowing that this journey is coming to an end, that we won't be able to spend every second with each other, it's gonna make me really miss this place, but I know that on the outside world, we've got some great things coming.' Angel recalled having a 'spark' with Ty from the very beginning, adding that he is 'so thoughtful'. She said: 'I can't wait for outside life with you. I literally couldn't be happier.' Ty replied: 'I want to thank you and the Love Island gods for sending you in. 'I kind of didn't know where I was, and kind of lost myself a bit. I couldn't find my feet and I feel like you came at the perfect time.' Previous Love Island winners have included Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti (Season 8), Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer (Season 4), Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies (Season 3), who have since split up. Couples who, despite not winning, remain together include Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen (Season 2), Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury (Season 5) and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack (Season 8).
