Key Ceremony At Ayodhya Ram Temple Concludes, Yogi Adityanath Attends
A spiritually charged atmosphere enveloped Ayodhya on Thursday as the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Shri Ram Darbar and other deities was completed with great devotion in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The elaborate ritual, held on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, marked the culmination of a three-day religious ceremony held within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
The sound of Vedic mantras, conch shells, and Acharyas' chants reverberated across the holy city, lending an air of divine solemnity to the event.
The final day began with the worship of invoked deities at the Yagya Mandap at 6.30 a.m., followed by a havan at 9 a.m.
The highlight was the use of modern audio-visual technology that connected the entire area during the pran prathishtha. Vedic tradition and modern technology blended for the consecration of idols in different shrines at the same muhurta.
Deities consecrated included Shri Ram Darbar, Sheshavatar, Shiva (northeast corner), Ganesh Ji (southeast), Hanuman Ji (south), Surya Dev (southwest), Maa Bhagwati (northwest), and Annapurna Mata (north).
The rituals concluded with a special Aarti and Bhandara (community feast), attended by a large gathering of saints, Vedic scholars, officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and thousands of devotees from India and abroad.
Adding a personal dimension to the occasion, the event coincided with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's birthday, for which he sought blessings from Lord Shri Ram.
The day also marked the Trayodashi Janmotsav (birth anniversary) of the Saryu River, amplifying the spiritual significance.
Several members of the saint community hailed the Chief Minister for restoring the ancient glory of Ram Nagari (Ayodhya) through the construction of the grand temple and the comprehensive development of the city.
Over the past eight years, Ayodhya has undergone a massive transformation with development projects worth over Rs 32,000 crore, including upgrades in roads, railways, an international airport, riverfront beautification, and enhanced tourism infrastructure.
Landmark projects like the Ram Katha Park, rejuvenation of the Saryu ghats, and the development of a modern temple complex have reshaped Ayodhya's identity and placed it firmly on the global map.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the grand event, the administration made elaborate security arrangements. The temple and surrounding areas were under multi-layered surveillance, with deployments from the ATS, CRPF, PAC, and local police. SP Security said the site was under impenetrable security cover, aided by modern surveillance systems.

Delhi HC Upholds CRPF's rejection of bid in Sniper Rifle tender
New Delhi [India], July 23 (ANI): In an order on defence procurement, the Delhi High Court has upheld the Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) decision to reject the bid of Stumpp Schuele Lewis Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. for the supply of sniper rifles and ammunition. The Court dismissed the company's challenge, which alleged technical bias and unfair advantage to rival bidders. A Division Bench comprising Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora and Justice Rajneesh Kumar Gupta ruled that the petitioner was given ample opportunity, including a second round of field trials. The Court found no merit in the argument that weather conditions or mirage effects caused the petitioner's failure. It emphasised that allowing a third trial would undermine the procurement process and set a problematic precedent. The Court accepted the CRPF's interpretation that 'matching ammunition' included Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) rounds. It noted that all bidders had agreed to the trial methodology in advance, and the petitioner's objections surfaced only after failing the trial--making them appear as an afterthought. Citing the Supreme Court's ruling in the Tata Motors Ltd. case, the Bench reiterated that a disqualified bidder has no standing to challenge the selection of others. The petitioner had contested its disqualification via a March 27, 2025, letter, arguing that it used the specified Ball/Lock Base ammunition, while competitors used HPBT rounds--allegedly in violation of tender norms and international standards. It also cited favourable results from earlier Pune trials and requested a fresh trial, citing environmental interference during testing. However, the Union of India and CRPF countered that the tender's term 'matching ammunition' encompassed HPBT. They pointed out that no objections were raised during or immediately after the trials, and all bidders--including the petitioner--had signed fair trial certificates. They also argued that the ballistic difference between HPBT and Ball/Lock Base was negligible at the 400-meter range, and a third trial would compromise the integrity and timeliness of the procurement. Advocate Rohan Jaitley appeared as Central Government Standing Counsel (CGSC) for the Union of India, along with Advocates Varun Pratap Singh, Dev Pratap Shani, and Yogya Bhatia, who appeared on behalf of the CRPF. The case stems from a CRPF tender issued on September 24, 2024, for 200 sniper rifles chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum and 20,000 rounds of ammunition. Three firms--Stumpp Schuele Lewis, PLR Systems, and ICOMM Tele Ltd.--participated in the trials. The first round, held in January 2025 in Pune, saw none of the bidders meet all accuracy benchmarks. A second round in February at the CRPF Academy in Gurugram resulted in PLR Systems and ICOMM passing, while the petitioner failed to meet the 400-meter accuracy requirement. (ANI)

Pawan Kalyan in Tamil Nadu, calling it a blatant attack on Sanatana Dharma and equating it to an assault on 'Murugan'. Addressing the media here on Wednesday, Mr. Madhav lashed out at the DMK-led Tamil Nadu government, accusing it of harbouring anti-Hindu, anti-Vedic sentiments, and carrying out a malicious agenda against temples and cows. He said, 'Temples are not just places of worship — they are the foundation of our social systems and the very backbone of traditional crafts and livelihoods. Protecting temples and cows is not just a religious duty but a civilizational necessity.' Mr. Madhav stated that the BJP stands in complete solidarity with Mr. Pawan Kalyan and Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai, noting that both leaders were fighting a principled battle to uphold dharma and constitutional rights. He described the current regime in Tamil Nadu as one driven by destructive intentions toward Sanatana Dharma, and added that villages with temples must themselves be treated as sacred spaces. Calling the DMK government a tyranny, he alleged that it had repeatedly targeted sacred institutions, sought to dismantle traditional values, and harboured contempt for the Vedas and Vedic culture. The recent case filed against Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who extended support to Mr. Annamalai in defending Hindu causes, was, according to Mr. Madhav, 'a political vendetta and a sign of desperation.' CM to launch integrated mfg, logistics cluster project to boost growth
1 2 Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday will inaugurate 27 nodes under the Uttar Pradesh Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster– an initiative of the UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) to boost economic development along the highways. An official spokesperson said on Wednesday the integrated approach is expected to accelerate industrial growth, create large-scale employment opportunities and drive balanced regional development across UP. "It will ultimately propel Uttar Pradesh towards its one trillion economy target and achieving industrial self-reliance," the official said. "These nodes, strategically located along major expressways, are not only a dream project of CM Yogi but also hold immense strategic significance. While they will serve as dedicated corridors for manufacturing, they will also host logistics hubs to facilitate seamless movement of goods via road, rail, and air," said the official. They also said the efforts, implemented in collaboration with the central govt, align with Uttar Pradesh's strategy to develop each expressway-linked node into an economic growth engine. "By attracting investments, creating jobs, and promoting regional specialisation, the Yogi govt is setting the foundation for an industrially robust and economically empowered Uttar Pradesh," the official said.
