According to SABC Sport reporter Mazola Molefe, the former Orlando Pirates captain is parting ways with Chippa. 'We have it on good authority that Andile Jali is leaving Chippa United, and this could be his last season in football,' Molefe said on Soccer Zone.

Tour de France 2025: NO South Africans in the peloton
The 2025 Tour de France will start in Lille on Saturday, 5 July – without any South African riders in the peloton. Despite this year's race, the 112th of all time, having one more than the 22 usual eight-rider teams, no riders from Mzansi were selected to start. In recent years Louis Meintjes has been a stalwart for the Intermarché-Wanty UCI team, but their line-up in 2025 is built around Eritrean sprinter Biniam Girmay. Orlando Pirates: Appollis arrival intensifies Mofokeng exit talks
Orlando Pirates have announced the arrival of Polokwane City attacker Oswin Appollis after a year-long pursuit – a week after signing AmaZulu FC winger Tshepang Moremi. This comes amid growing speculation of a Relebohile Mofokeng exit, who has garnered interest from MLS club FC Cincinnati, Ah Ahly, and Zamalek FC.
