Is Darius Rucker's tour canceled? What to know about upcoming dates
Despite having to stop mid-performance in mid-July after saying he was no longer able to sing at a New Jersey concert, country musician Darius Rucker is not canceling his remaining tour dates, a spokesperson for the star confirmed. In a surprising moment on stage at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday, July 12, Rucker stopped the show live and told fans the show could not go on. "Y'all, I can't sing anymore," the 59-year-old Hootie and the Blowfish front man turned country singer told the crowd. "This never happened. I physically can't sing." Now Rucker is ready to retake the stage. "There is no further interruption in his touring schedule," Rucker's Nashville-based publicist Ebie McFarland told USA TODAY on July 16. "Following vocal rest, Darius has been cleared to resume shows." Latest ‘Tron: Ares' Trailer Features New Nine Inch Nails Song ‘Something to Believe In'
Ahead of next week's San Diego Comic Con Hall H panel, Disney has unleashed a new trailer for their forthcoming legacy sequel 'Tron: Ares,' from director Joachim Rønning, the latest installment of the franchise that began way back in 1982 with the cutting-edge 'Tron.' You can watch it below. No coins necessary. 'Tron: Ares,' which follows 2010's 'Tron: Legacy,' concerns a highly sophisticated program from the digital realm, Ares (Jared Leto), who crosses over into our world on what Disney is describing as a 'dangerous mission.' This will mark humanity's first encounter with A.I. beings. So far, the 'Tron' films have taken primarily in the computer world; it'll fun to see that world come into ours for the first time. But this time they broke out their rock-and-roll moniker, and you can hear a taste of the first single from the 'Tron: Ares' soundtrack,' Something to Believe In,' in the trailer. Expect to hear much more about 'Tron: Ares' after next weekend's big Hall H presentation. 'Tron: Ares' hits theaters on Oct. 10.
