Metro Nashville police search for suspect in deadly shooting of Memphis man
In a news release, police said a group of men were standing near a white Chevrolet Malibu at gas pumps outside of Honey Suckle Market on Lafayette Street early April 19 when a brief argument took place with the driver of a white Jeep parked at another pump.
The suspect then fired shots as the Jeep drove away, fatally striking one of the passengers, Michael Robinson, 37, of Memphis. Police said the Jeep accelerated and crashed into the side of the market. Another occupant suffered non-critical injuries.
Police said the suspect fled in a black Nissan sedan.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for up to a $5,000 reward in homicide cases.

At 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, the victim — a car salesman for Car Lots LLC — agreed to meet the suspect, who posed as a potential buyer, Crime Stoppers said. The victim drove to an apartment complex at 500 Rubin Dr., where the suspect test drove the 2019 black 4-door Chevrolet Silverado with the victim. After returning to the parking lot of the apartments, the suspect pulled out a gun, threatened the victim, and ordered him out of the truck, Crime Stoppers said. The suspect fled with the truck valued at $19,800. The suspect is a Hispanic male, late teens to early 20s, with a medium complexion, a slight mustache, and an average build, Crime Stoppers said. Police identify man they want to speak to in fatal hit and run at Charles Daley Park
Homicide detectives have identified the man they are looking to speak with in relation to Thursday's fatal hit and run collision at Lincoln's Charles Daley that resulted in an 82-year-old St. Catharines being struck by his own car. On Thursday, the victim, Larry Pearce, arrived at the park around 9 a.m. and was there for about 40 minutes. Niagara Regional Police said at the time it's believed he was driving out of the park when he stopped at the front entrance and interacted with an unknown suspect or suspects. Police said Pearce got out of his vehicle, at which point a suspect got in the driver's seat. Pearce stood in front of the vehicle to prevent him from leaving and he fell to the ground during this confrontation, said police. The suspect drove away with the victim's 2012 silver Honda CRV with Ontario licence plate 24FS30. At the time it was taken, it was equipped with two roof racks. The car was last seen getting onto the QEW Niagara-bound from Seventh Street at about 9:44 a.m. Pearce died from his injuries Friday. Early Sunday, police put out an update with a description of the man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident. Police said the man was seen in the park Thursday morning and was accompanied by a pitbull-style dog, which was white with black and brown markings, on a green leash. Later Sunday, police said assistance from the public enabled them to identify him as Davy Rocchetti, 50, of no fixed address. He has outstanding warrants for an unrelated matter, including mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, three counts of operation while prohibited, and fail to comply with probation. Detectives ask anyone with information on Rocchetti's whereabouts to call the police and to call 911 immediately without approaching him if he is seen. Police said they wish to speak with him about any information he may have about the ongoing homicide investigation and encourage him to contact legal counsel and turn himself into the police to address his outstanding warrants. AOC's campaign office vandalized with red paint in NYC
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's office was vandalized with red paint overnight in New York City. Police said they responded to a 911 call shortly before 12:45 a.m. Monday at her campaign office located on Herschell Street in the Bronx. When officers arrived, they found the front of the building slashed with red paint, along with a sign accusing the congresswoman of funding genocide in Gaza. Video from the scene appears to show the paint on a metal security gate, as well as on the doorway and the sidewalk below. Crime scene tape can also be seen blocking off the area. Police say no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues. The congresswoman also has offices in Hunts Point and in Astoria, Queens, in addition to her Bronx campaign office.
