Footage is making the rounds on social media of singer Jennifer Lopez suffering a wardrobe malfunction while performing at a concert in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday.
Newsweek reached out to Lopez's representative via email for comment on Monday.
Why It Matters
The musician is currently on her "Up All Night: Live in 2025" tour after a six-year hiatus. The tour—which has stops in Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, Armenia, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates and more—is her first since her "It's My Party" tour in 2019.
What To Know
Lopez, who celebrated her 56th birthday on Thursday, handled her wardrobe malfunction with ease as her backup dancers, singers and the crowd at PGE Narodowy surprised her with a "Happy Birthday" singalong.
"Thank you, Warsaw!" she said, before pausing as her skirt dropped to the floor.
"I'm out here in my underwear. That's gonna be everywhere," the "Let's Get Loud" singer joked while one of her dancers tried to fix it.
"I'm glad that they reinforced that costume," she added, tossing the skirt into the crowd. "And I'm glad I had underwear on. I don't usually wear underwear."
Lopez's official YouTube account posted a video of the gaffe on the platform, which has since gone viral. At the time of publication, the clip racked up more than 629,000 views and 534 comments.
Internet personality Oli London also shared a video of the wardrobe malfunction in a post on X, which currently has 11.7 million views. A separate post by X user @Jani__Gee garnered an additional 5.2 million views.
"Her skirt fell off and you can see she legitimately panicked and then remembered, 'wait my body is tea' Lmao," @Jani__Gee wrote.

Awkward And Outrageous Moments August 3 2025
Jennifer Lopez had a wardrobe malfunction — but she played it off like a total pro: Nintendo very randomly felt the need to clarify that Mario and Princess Peach are, in fact, just friends: Ana De Armas — who has been photographed alongside Tom Cruise recently, for what it's worth — apparently "liked" a really shady IG post about Tom's ex Nicole Kidman: Doja Cat made fun of Sydney Sweeney's controversial American Eagle ad campaign: Matthew Lawrence said he wants to use AI to replicate Mrs. Doubtfire costar Robin Williams' voice — against his daughter Zelda Williams' wishes: Billie Eilish received some backlash for saying that it was "really cool" to be surrounded by people who look "exactly like" her at a recent performance in Ireland — but her comments were taken out of context: Fitness influencer Joey Swoll issued an apology after referring to "colored athletes" in a defense of his own tribute to late wrestler (and very problematic guy) Hulk Hogan: And finally, Oprah had to issue a statement denying rumors that she closed off access to the private road at her Hawaii property during tsunami evacuations:
