Cinema is coming home: Sony announces new BRAVIA Theatre home audio products for amplified home cinema experience
Sony ' s wide variety of products such as digital cinema cameras, professional monitors have been widely utilised by film production professionals, allowing the company to deeply understand the cinema industry and the intention of filmmakers and content creators. The new line-up of BRAVIA TVs, soundbars and home cinema projectors connects creators and viewers, allowing the ultimate cinematic experience to shine in the comfort of the home as the filmmaker intended.
BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6
BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 is a 3.1.2ch soundbar offering immersive surround sound and clear dialogue. Also, it packs a wireless subwoofer to deliver a well-balanced bass sound. Dolby Atmos® / DTS:X® realises powerful, cinematic surround sound. Additionally, Sony ' s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround lend a more realistic, multi-dimensional sound to other formats, too. With Sony's unique upmixer technology, you can experience three-dimensional surround sound not only with surround sound format content, but also with stereo content. For clear dialogue and a precise sound image, a dedicated centre speaker ensures crystal-clear voice reproduction in every scene . If you pair the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 with a compatible BRAVIA TV [ii] , Sony ' s Voice Zoom 3 ™ powered by AI machine learning recognises human voices and amplifies or reduces their volume so even faint dialogue sounds loud and clear.
BRAVIA Theatre System 6
BRAVIA Theatre System 6 is an all-in-one 5.1ch 1000W powerful sound system with a subwoofer, delivering a deeper, richer, and well-balanced sound. The 5.1ch speaker setup brings depth, clarity, and weight to audio, while the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support realises immersive multi-dimensional soundscapes. It is powered by Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround that brings films to life as the creators intended, lending a more realistic, multi-dimensional sound to other formats, too. Similarly to BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6, this home cinema system boasts Voice Zoom 3 ™ [iii] , using AI-driven algorithms to ensure even speech sounds are loud and clear. For more exciting immersion, Multi Stereo allows to replicate stereo sound from left/right to centre/rears for a multi-directional sound boost.
BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 and BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7
BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 and BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7 are optional speakers that can elevate your current home cinema setup. You can enrich your cinematic sound by wirelessly connecting BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 to a compatible soundbar [iv] to create an enhanced 360 spatial sound experience that is optimised for a specific home setting using Sony ' s unique 360 Spatial Sound Mapping-technology. BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7 will add that extra low-end to make you feel – not just hear – the frenetic action on the screen. BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7's slim and compact design allows for two-way installation options iv . The optional speakers boast a high-quality design that will complement a variety of living spaces visually.
Seamless integration with BRAVIA TVs
By combining a BRAVIA TV with a BRAVIA Theatre home audio product, you can enjoy a seamless experience to focus on what matters the most – amazing films and shows. For maximum ease of use, you can control BRAVIA and BRAVIA Theatre from your smartphone. With the BRAVIA Connect app, you can adjust volume and settings and even check your set up without using the remote or on-screen menu. You can also control both BRAVIA and BRAVIA Theatre on one screen without switching the remotes. Alternatively, it is possible to control features such as sound field and volume using just the TV remote. With an integrated UI, soundbar sound settings automatically appear on the BRAVIA Quick Settings menu.
BRAVIA Theatre home audio products and environment
Reducing virgin plastic usage:
Sony has set forth an environmental plan called Road to Zero, which aims to achieve zero environmental impact through its business activities and product life cycles by 2050. To contribute this vision, BRAVIA Theatre home audio products are reducing the amount of plastic packaging [v] . The fabric [vi] used in the BRAVIA Theatre home audio products is recycled from PET [vii] bottles. The material was carefully selected for optimum sound quality, design, texture, and colour.
BRAVIA Theatre home audio products and accessibility
To help visually impaired set up BRAVIA Theatre home audio products, a raised square frame on the package indicates a QR code [viii] for the BRAVIA Connect app [ix] , which offers screen reader support. Tactile dots on the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 and BRAVIA Theatre System 6 units indicate the eARC HDMI terminal for connecting to a TV.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" Gets Production Update
Yara Sameh Tom Holland's fourth Spider-Man entry, "Brand New Day", is in pre-production at the UK's Pinewood Studios for Sony and Marvel. The movie will begin shooting in August with location shooting reportedly taking place in Glasgow, according to The Herald. Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the movie with Amy Pascal producing alongside Marvel president Kevin Feige. Holland returns as the teenaged, web-slinging Avenger with Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas are attached to star in the pic. Plot details on the fourth 'Spider-Man' installment haven't been revealed. In the third entry, 2021's 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' Peter Parker accidentally breaks open the multiverse and allows for two prior Spider-Men, Tobey MaGuire and Andrew Garfield, to all appear in the same reality. This causes more than a few problems — for Peter-One and the universe at large. The movie concluded with Holland's version of the character making the difficult decision to erase his identity from the world, leaving his girlfriend MJ and best friend Ned to forget he exists. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" has earned over $1.9bn since its release in December 2021, making it one of the highest-grossing films of all time. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" marks the second Spider-Man film to shoot in the UK, following 2019's "Spider-Man: Far From Home", while 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" both shot in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. Sony has set July 31, 2026, as the release date for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". Marvel's "Avengers: Doomsday" is also currently filming in the UK, to be distributed worldwide by Disney. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand

Sony Expands LED Display Family with Launch of Crystal LED CAPRI - Middle East Business News and Information
The Company's Latest Crystal LED Displays Make Virtual Production Even More Accessible Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Sony is expanding its lineup of LED walls with the debut of Crystal LED CAPRI . The new CAPRI series achieves a maximum brightness of 1,500 cd/m 2 with a 2.50mm LED pitch size. Key features include high refresh rates and brightness, a wide color gamut, and anti-reflection. Additional benefits include installation flexibility, familiar structure, streamlined maintenance, and compatibility with Sony's ecosystem of virtual production technologies. The new models, ZRD-VS25FB and ZRD-VS25FM , are compatible with the Brompton controller and the Megapixel controller, respectively. The CAPRI models are targeted to a broad range of customers looking to cost-effectively support virtual production applications, including television, feature films, commercials, and broadcast, as well as for rental and staging purposes. The CAPRI series offers options that ensure the high picture quality synonymous with Sony at a more accessible price. CAPRI also complements Sony's premium flagship Crystal LED VERONA . Using the same controllers and featuring the same luminance as VERONA allows the CAPRI LED wall to be used together with the VERONA LED wall , for example, the VERONA as the main wall and the CAPRI on the ceiling. The CAPRI series is expected to be available this winter. A sample of the CAPRI will be on display June 11-13 at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando in Sony's booth, 2001 . 'With the announcement of CAPRI, Sony is furthering our commitment to the creation of Spatial Content , such as virtual production, by giving a wider range of users opportunities for flexibly showcasing images in high fidelity,' said Rich Ventura, Vice President, Professional Display Solutions, Sony Electronics Inc. 'We've broadened our lineup to offer more cost-conscious choices, which expand the market in support of high-quality virtual production at every level and ensure the growth of Sony's distinctive virtual production ecosystem.' Impressive Picture Quality Virtual productions rely on high quality imagery. The CAPRI series combines high refresh rates of up to 7,680Hz to reduce scanline artifacts and ensure smooth, fluid motion. With a high brightness of 1,500 cd/m 2 , complemented by coverage of over 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the displays accurately reproduce lifelike images. Additionally, the new models feature anti-reflection capabilities to mitigate the impact of reflection from lighting equipment. Easy Installation The latest CAPRI series also takes advantage of recent installation advancements to ensure fast and efficient setup. Offering a 1:1 cabinet optimized for temporary installations, such as virtual production stages, the models can quickly and easily be assembled and dismantled using locating pins for easy alignment and a tool-free lever locking mechanism. Furthermore, the Crystal LED's modular nature allows for it to be set up in varying sizes and configurations, including stacked, hung, curved, or oval installation, and features a strong frame for supporting additional weight. Edge protection plates and pin slides reduce damage and wear and tear on parts. Industry Standard Control Through alignment with Brompton's Tessera SX40 and Megapixel's HELIOS, the CAPRI models maintain control using the same familiar tools and interfaces already commonly deployed in the industry, alleviating the need for additional training and maximizing uptime. Streamlined Maintenance To keep virtual productions focused on the creative processes, the CAPRI has thoughtful features that simplify maintenance. LED module blocks can be changed from the rear and feature status indication lights for easily identifying which blocks need service. Efficient Workflows Sony is well-positioned in the virtual production space, providing customers with a connected ecosystem of solutions including cinema and pan-tilt-zoom cameras, a marker-free camera tracking system, LED walls, multi-camera live switching, remote production options, previsualization tools, mobile motion capture, and a virtual production tool set, which together contribute to workflow efficiencies. As a part of Sony's Virtual Production Tool Set, a compilation of resources to help improve pre-production and on-set workflows, the Color Calibrator ensures the visualized colors before the shoot match the colors that appear in dailies. In addition, the Camera and Display Plugin combines technical information on the cameras and LED pitch to aid in predicting and addressing aliasing during pre-visualization and on-set. Version 3.0 of the Virtual Production Tool Set, planned for fall 2025, will provide Off-axis color shift compensation capability exclusive to select Crystal LED series, including CAPRI, VERONA, and B-series. By using camera position information, this feature will correct color shifts due to curved or angled installation, in real-time, significantly reducing color correction and editing in post-production.
