DES MOINES, Iowa — For over twenty years, Keith Murphy and the WHO 13 Sports team have celebrated our state's good natured rivalry game between the University of Iowa and Iowa State University football teams by shining a spotlight on the best part of Iowa, it's small towns. Now, we're opening up the process for towns to apply to be a host of a RVTV Cy-Hawk street party.
There's a lot of planning required to put on a successful RVTV party and it also requires the backing and support of key officials within a town to work together to make it happen. WHO 13 will work with you during the planning process, and provide guidance to your leaders or your organizing committee to make it a successful RVTV stop. First, answer a few questions about your town to get started.
The application deadline in March 31, 2025.

Iowa basketball transfer Bennett Stirtz among early ESPN 2026 NBA draft mock

With the 2025 NBA Draft in the rearview mirror, it's never too early to look ahead to the 2026 draft and the potential that an Iowa Hawkeye is drafted. With new head coach Ben McCollum and a slew of new players, it looks like Hawkeye fans will be treated to an electric year at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. And according to ESPN NBA draft insiders Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo, Iowa fans may get to see a future NBA first-round pick this season. Givony and Woo released their early 2026 NBA mock draft on Friday and a new Hawk made his way onto the list: Bennett Stirtz. If drafted, he would become only the eighth Hawkeye since 2000 to hear his name called during the NBA Draft. Stirtz had begun trending upward in a real way with NBA scouts in March, where he played well in the NCAA tournament and drew first-round buzz. Considering the momentum he built, it was a surprise to see him completely forgo the predraft process this spring. Instead, Stirtz will follow Ben McCollum, his coach at Drake and Division II Northwest Missouri State before that, to Iowa, where he will have the keys to the offense and a platform to further prove himself in the Big Ten. He's a terrific playmaker who figures to be among the top guards in the country. - Woo, ESPN Stirtz's story has become very well known over the past few months, as he's followed McCollum from Northwest Missouri State to Drake and now to Iowa. Last season at Drake, Stirtz averaged 19.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game on his way to winning the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year. He helped lead the Bulldogs to 31 wins and their first NCAA Tournament win since 1971. He joins an Iowa basketball roster that's a complete overhaul from the one that missed the NCAA Tournament last season, with only Cooper Koch and Jacob Koch returning. In a highly competitive Big Ten, Stirtz will look to help lead the Hawkeyes back to the NCAA Tournament and past the first weekend for the first time in over 25 years. And in doing so, he could establish himself as an NBA first-round talent. George Kittle opens up on bizarre NFL training method with sex life side effect

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle might've shared too many details about his recovery treatment. During a recent appearance on the 'Bussin with the Boys' podcast, Kittle explained that he uses a Vasper machine to help improve his recovery — and the extra side effects it has on his testosterone levels. 'I do it a little bit during OTAs (organized team activities), but as soon as I get back in the summer, it's like my cardio every day at the end of my workout,' Kittle, 31, said. 'I'll go lift, run my routes, run hills and then I'll do a 20-minute Vasper session, four days a week. I love it. Advertisement 'It also knocks you the f–k out at night, unconscious. You sleep so well, and you have wild dreams, too. It's awesome … The main selling point is you, um, blow huge loads.' Warning: Graphic language Advertisement The Vasper System is a recovery bike that utilizes blood flow restriction (BFR) and uses compression technology, liquid cooling and interval training to 'create the effect of a high intensity (anaerobic) exercise without the wear and tear, time, effort or stress it takes to achieve the same results with conventional exercise,' according to the company's website. 'I was like, 'How do I say it?' I just gotta say it,' Kittle continued regarding the sexual side effects. 'That's how it was sold to players. It was like, 'Look, it boosts your testosterone, you sleep really well, you're going to feel great and you also blow huge loads.'' 4 The Vasper machine. Not bulls–t. And then that rumor started going around,' he said. 'In 2019, there were six or seven coaches that were doing it all of the time… [like Mike LaFleur] one of my (offensive coordinator)'s, he was in there all the time, going to town.' 4 San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire after signing his contract extension in April 2025. The 49ers failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2020 with a 6-11 mark last season. 'The one benefit of not making the playoffs is you get an entire month off. I haven't had January off since 2020,' he said. 'Mentally and physically, I'm lightyears ahead of where I was last year, which is pretty fun.' Kittle signed a four-year deal worth up to $76.4 million with $40 million in guarantees with the 49ers in April, tying him to the team through the 2029 season. He tallied 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024, becoming the fifth tight end in NFL history to record at least four 1,000-yard seasons. Feid and Tony Hawk Play PS2 and Share Cereal in Nostalgic ‘Ando XXIL' Video

Few things are more nostalgic than playing your favorite childhood video game. On Thursday night, Feid dropped the video for his single 'Ando XXIL,' on which he delivers bar after bar over a pure hip-hop beat — and lands onscreen ollies on PS2 alongside none other than Tony Hawk. The retro video captures Feid fully in his rap star bag. It opens with clips of him at a record store flipping through hip-hop vinyl, then playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater as he reflects on his upbringing in the lyrics. After name-dropping the skate legend, Feid is shown at home, playing PS2 with Hawk himself as they laugh over their video game ollies and tricks. Hawk is seen nodding along to Feid's rapid-fire bars in other clips. The video ends with the two sharing bowls of cereal before Hawk rides a skateboard off the dining table. 'Ando XXIL' follows the musician's more electronic-leaning single 'Dallax' featuring Ty Dolla $ign. He launched the new era with 'Nos Desconoximos' in late February after November's Sky Rompiendo collaborative project Las 9 de Ferxxo y Sky Rompiendo. He also joined Brray, De La Rose, and Yan Block on 'Te Colaboro (Remix)' on May 16. 'What can I tell you, love? We are so happy because the first song of the new project dropped,' Feid said on Instagram Stories after the release of the album's first single in February. 'Ferxxo is coming with a new album… It's a special project because after 10 years, it'll be dropping.'
