PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 reveal time
PS Plus is gearing up to offer players a fresh batch of games at no additional cost, with high hopes that they'll match the quality of this month's Essential drop.
The time is nearly upon us for a new round of PS Plus games for Extra and Premium subscribers, a moment that stirs excitement among many players, particularly those who found last month's offering somewhat lacklustre. The PS Plus Extra and Premium June games were largely aimed at shooter fans, featuring a game that didn't quite have the stamina to last the month.
FBC: Firebreak led the pack as the latest game in the Control mythology but struggled to make a splash (a common issue when multiplayers launch on subscription services on day one, as was the case with FBC: Firebreak's Xbox Game Pass debut on the same day), and the rest of the drop fell short with Battlefield 2042 landing rather flatly on the service.
It's not the ideal situation for subscribers, but they've learned to simply wait for next month, or at least the next Essential drop, which has proven to be quite significant with the arrival of Diablo 4 on PS Plus Essential last month. Regardless, a new collection of games is coming, whether they align with our PS Extra and Premium July 2025 predictions or not.
But when exactly can we anticipate the PS Plus Extra and Premium reveal time? Here's when we can expect the new titles.

PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 reveal time
The reveal time for the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 is scheduled for 8.30am PDT / 11.30am EDT / 4.30pm BST on Wednesday, July 9. This is because the Extra and Premium games for any given month are always unveiled on the second Wednesday of every month, before being released the following Tuesday, which in this case is Tuesday, July 15.
It's fortunate that there are more games coming, particularly with classics like Resident Evil 2 and the Twisted Metal series set to join the Premium service during this summer showcase season, as if our gaming backlogs weren't already substantial. Prepare yourself, as it could dominate your life for the next month or so.

PlayStation game mysteriously VANISHES from consoles without warning leaving millions of gamers locked out
Those who already own the game will still be able to play as usual GAME OVER PlayStation game mysteriously VANISHES from consoles without warning leaving millions of gamers locked out A PLAYSTATION game has mysteriously vanished from various global PlayStation Stores without warning. Gamers in the UK, US and Europe now have no option of buying the game. Advertisement 1 Entwined was initially a PS4 exclusive title, before Sony released it to PS3 and PS Vita as well Credit: Sony The PS4 exclusive game Entwined, which Sony published in 2014, has abruptly exited the UK PlayStation Store, the US PlayStation Store, and the European PlayStation Store. The game's profile still appears in the UK store, but with the tag: "Not available for purchase". Strangely, the title is still available on the Japanese PlayStation Store and PS Plus Extra. Concrete Genie, a 2019 release by the same Sony-owned studio Pixelopus and the only other published game from the studio, remains available on the PlayStation store. Advertisement Pixelopus was shut down by Sony in 2023. Sony has made no comment on the removal of Entwined, first reported by Comic Book. The report pointed out that there is no overt licensing or multiplayer servers that would force Entwined out of PS Stores. It is unclear whether it is a rare error. Advertisement If the delisting is not an error, then it is likely Entwined will soon vanish from the Japanese PlayStation Store and PS Plus Extra soon. Entwined was initially a PS4 exclusive title, before Sony released it to PS3 and PS Vita as well. The title was not hugely popular, but still garnered over 20,000 ratings in the PlayStation store and an average of 4 out of 5 stars. The Comic Book report noted that while the overwhelming majority of PlayStation fans may never notice that it is gone, it is not a good precedent to establish. Marvel Rivals Season 3 start date – when you can play the new content update
Marvel Rivals is set to welcome in a new season soon, with Blade and Phoenix among the characters expected to become playable in the popular mobile game Marvel Rivals is gearing up for a new season, introducing fresh characters and it's not long before it hits the screens. Despite dwindling public interest, Marvel Rivals continues to capitalise on the allure of Marvel 's comic book characters. The game, which allows players to step into the shoes of Spider-Man and battle against foes like The Punisher and Venom, has managed to retain its player base by consistently introducing new content. Season 2 saw the introduction of Ultron and a playable Emma Frost, following the addition of the Fantastic Four in the first season. This is all part of Marvel's successful run in the gaming industry, highlighted by the grand announcement of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls during this year's summer showcase season. But there's more in store as Jean Grey and Blade are set to join the game to combat a Knull-corrupted Hela in an upcoming season. The new season aims to introduce enough modes, maps and gameplay explorations to keep the game at the top of its league. Given that NetEase Games hasn't disappointed players so far, expectations are high. Interestingly, the introduction of Blade into the game comes after the MCU missed its opportunity to bring the vampire hunter to life on the big screen. Fans of the character have been anticipating something big for a while now, so the pressure is certainly on. The wait is almost over for Marvel Rivals Season 3, as players gear up to step into the shoes of the vampire slayer. But when exactly will the new update roll out? Here's everything you need to know about the Marvel Rivals Season 3 start date. We're prepared to give NetEase the benefit of the doubt and enough time to implement the update, so we anticipate that the game will be live with its new season around this time. The opening of Marvel Rivals season 3 promises to be a thrilling time, particularly for Blade fans. Let's hope that the upcoming seasonal update for the game will captivate players just as NetEase intends it to.
