‘Date night disaster': Albanese's G7 snub branded a ‘foreign affairs failure'
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is considering a snap visit to The Hague for the NATO summit in an attempt to secure a long-anticipated face-to-face meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Mr Albanese has been scrambling to re-establish direct dialogue with the Trump administration on key issues, including the AUKUS defence pact and trade tariffs.
'What an absolute embarrassment for Albo to have gone all the way to Canada for a 20-minute meeting as a sidebar and then been snubbed,' Mr Milner told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
