Ben Stiller's actress daughter says they have discussed writing a play together
'I would love, love, love to work with everyone in my family, just because… growing up, that's what my dad always said — when you watch his movies, so many of the little random parts in it are family members or a family friend or something.

'And it's almost just a hidden gem Easter egg thing… you can put little parts of your own self and life into it.'
Her father has led comedy films including Zoolander, Meet The Parents and The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty.
Ella said: 'I think my dad and I are very similar in the way our brains work and the way we view art and writing and creativity.
'I feel he and I are very much cut from the same cloth.
'I feel I get a lot of my everyday stuff or mannerisms from my mom. We all, collectively, get our sense of humour from each other.
'We have a very specific way of joking in my family, which I love so much… I am surrounded by a lot of really smart people who make really smart jokes without ego.'
She added: 'I grew up with access to people. My parents, my grandparents were amazing actors and writers and that's incredible and that's an amazing privilege, but I wanted to also have my own people and pave my own way and have my own voice be put out there.
'I always want to make sure the people that I work with and who I surround myself with are people who really see me as my own person and my own artist.'
Emmy-award winning actor Ben also shares a son called Quinlin with his wife, actress Christine Taylor.

New stamps mark 75th anniversary of Peanuts comic strip

These are the most beautiful outdoor cinemas in the U.S., says new ranking
We all love watching a movie unfold on the big screen outside—whether perched on your picnic blanket with a bottle of wine or reclining in your car with popcorn and soda. And if it so happens that the place where the movie is shown features an incredible backdrop of its own—a wooded space or a beautiful city skyline—that just makes the experience all the more inviting. It's cinematography on a grand scale! And Time Out celebrated just that with its newly revealed list of the most beautiful outdoor cinemas in the U.S. Coming out on top in America (and No. 4 on the worldwide list) is Cinespia at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. It may provide an eerie setting to watch a movie in a cemetery but don't worry; you'll be sitting on a grassy lawn and not a gravestone. Bring your blanket and your own snacks to watch the film projected onto the back of a mausoleum. Silver screen ghosts will radiate approval around you, like Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney and Cecil B DeMille, who are all buried here. This summer's remaining shows include Psycho, Zoolander, Point Break and The Addams Family (Anjelica Houston and Christina Ricci at their best!), as well as a double feature 'Full Moon Slumber Party' with An American Werewolf in London and The Lost Boys. The outdoor screenings include extras like themed photobooths and DJ fireworks sometimes. Second on our domestic list (No. 17 worldwide) is Red Rocks Amphitheatre just outside Denver, Colorado. While mainly known as a live concert venue nestled in (what else?) monolithic red rocks with spectacular views over the scrub brush dotted hillsides, the Film on the Rocks movie series opens when warm weather hits the Rockies. This summer, there are five showings total, with one left on August 18: Shrek 2. This extraordinary venue has to be seen to be believed; it's breathtaking. If you arrive early, it's fun to scramble over the rows of backless stone steps that provide seating. And coming in at No. 23 worldwide is the Rooftop Cinema Club in Los Angeles. (We can personally attest that this is a great place to see The Shining!) You'll arrive just as the sun sets to grab food and beverages from the rooftop snack bar—and to grab photos of the city seen from above. You'll get your own personal headphone set to ensure you dial up the volume you want while you sit back and take in a big-screen favorite. (RCC showcases new releases as well as cult classics.) The club has eight locations across the U.S., but only the downtown L.A. location puts you in the heart of movie-making country.

Ariana Grande addresses rumors that she plans to 'abandon' her music career
Ariana Grande has no plans to break free from her singing career. The 'Wicked' actor, 32, who is set to star in more upcoming Hollywood movies, says it's 'silly' for fans to think she would quit music, which she calls her 'lifeline,' to focus on other projects. 'Very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!! it is and has always been my lifeline,' Grande captioned a video of her singing on Instagram posted on Wednesday. 'There will need to be room made for all of it,' she wrote in the post, adding a fairy emoji. 'It may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head.' The busy 'Side to Side' singer went on to say that she was enjoying herself by expanding creatively. 'I am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. :) finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way… so i'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it's just for a little. i love you,' she concluded. Grande's fans showed their support in the comments of her post. 'And we love you in all your facets and endeavors,' wrote one. 'Seated for all of it,' added another, who included a chair emoji. Grande received her first Academy Award nomination, in the best supporting actress category, for her role as Glinda in 'Wicked.' Grande's message to fans comes over a month after news broke that she was joining the star-studded cast of the next 'Meet the Parents' movie. Ben Stiller commented on Grande's casting to NBC News' Joe Fryer during a joint interview with co-stars Teri Polo and Robert De Niro. 'She's so talented. She's so great with comedy,' Stiller said of Grande, adding that her character in the movie will be 'really, really funny.' Fryer joked that the movie could turn into a musical thanks to Grande's involvement, prompting Oscar winner De Niro to quip, 'The scenes that I have with her will be singing scenes.' Grande will also reunite with her 'Wicked' co-star Cynthia Erivo for the sequel, 'Wicked: For Good,' due in theaters Nov. 21, and she will be lending her voice to an upcoming movie version of the Dr. Seuss kids book 'Oh, The Places You'll Go.'
