Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu releases P-4 logo, directs formation of committees for policy implementation
Naidu chaired the first general body meeting of the P-4 Foundation on Friday after its formation. It was also decided to form P-4 chapters at the district and constituency levels.
Addressing public representatives and district and mandal level officials who participated in the meeting through video conference, Naidu said the P-4 scheme aims to reduce disparities between the rich and the poor in society. "The state govt has set an ambitious target of achieving zero poverty, and has set a target of connecting 15 lakh poor families with one lakh guides.
There needs to be more clarity on the role of guides, as it is not just about giving money to the poor but also empowering them," he explained.
Clarifying that poor families who receive support from their guides will not be denied any welfare programs, Naidu said P-4 program is independent of the welfare schemes currently being implemented. "Spending money is not enough to eradicate poverty. If money were the only criterion, much was spent in the last 75 years," he said. The CM also launched a logo for P-4 scheme, which represents the goals of the state govt.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ordered the formation of State-level executive and advisory committees for effective implementation of the P4 (Public - Private - People - Partnership) initiative in the maiden general body meeting of the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation held at the Secretariat on Friday. It was decided to form P4 chapters in each one of the district headquarters and in the constituencies. Through P4, it was contemplated to assist the poor, thereby reducing inequalities. The top 10% of the rich people must be connected with the bottom 20%, who were languishing in poverty, he advised, and that the help being extended by the likes of Gates Foundation, Vedanta and GMR should be utilised. Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and others took part. The Chief Minister approved a logo for the P-4 initiative.

Collector stresses timely selection of mentors for adopted ‘Golden Families'
Nandyal: District Collector G Rajakumari has directed officials to expedite the process of selecting mentors for the identified 'Golden Families' under the P4 initiative. The Collector emphasized that the selection process should be carried out efficiently to ensure timely support and guidance for the families aimed at economic upliftment. The directive came following a Zoom video conference held on Friday by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with district collectors, ministers, and MLAs from the state secretariat in Vijayawada. During the meeting, the Chief Minister outlined a clear roadmap of actions to be taken under the Public-Private-People Participation (P4) model. The ultimate goal, he said, is to eliminate poverty in the first phase by 2029, calling on all stakeholders to dedicate themselves to this collective mission.
