Travis Kelce hits fan with golf shot during beer-filled celebrity tournament
The mishap occurred during a 'boozy round' on Saturday as Kelce, accompanied by brother Jason, stepped up to the tee on the banks of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, according to the Daily Mail.
Luckily, the injured fan suffered no serious injuries and managed to find laughter despite the errant shot.

The fan reportedly received a photo and an autograph from Kelce afterward as a gesture.

This wasn't Kelce's first errant shot that hit a fan either.
At last year's tournament, he hit a fan in the back of the head, but again, the fan appeared ultimately uninjured and Kelce responded with charm by offering a handshake and light-hearted apology.

Kelce, a nine-time Pro Bowler and three-time Super Bowl champion, has continued to embrace public life beyond football, already getting a head start on his second career off the field with the brothers' 'New Heights' podcast.
Kelce, for now, is still best known for his role with the Chiefs, where in 2024 he recorded 97 receptions, 823 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
It was productive despite what was widely considered a down year.

Surprising NFL Team Getting Its Own Documentary
Surprising NFL Team Getting Its Own Documentary originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Oftentimes, fans, especially the casual ones, forget teams that reach the Super Bowl only to lose within a few years. But sometimes, such teams also get a nostalgic shoutout. Advertisement It is now coming up on a decade since the Carolina Panthers reached Super Bowl 50 thanks to an explosive offense and a talented cast overall. The mercurial Cam Newton was their starting quarterback, and he turned in a career-best effort that resulted in him being named the NFL's regular-season MVP. To honor that team, the Charlotte Observer will be premiering a four-part series on it, as well as a documentary entitled "SUPER MEN: The inside story of the 2015 Carolina Panthers." The documentary will air on July 24 at at Independent Picture House in Charlotte, while the series will be available online starting this coming Monday. This may not be your usual banal series about the NFL. According to an Observer article, both the series and the documentary will be based upon dozens of interviews that were conducted with various players and stars from that Panthers team, as well as coach Ron Rivera. Advertisement That Panthers squad went 15-1 during the regular season and led the entire league in points scored. Newton threw for 3,837 yards and 35 touchdowns, while star tight end Greg Olsen caught 77 passes for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns. Middle linebacker Luke Kuechly and cornerback Josh Norman led the way, and it ranked sixth in points and total yards allowed while forcing more turnovers than any other NFL team. The Panthers tore through the early rounds of the playoffs and sank their teeth into the Arizona Cardinals with a 49-15 win in the NFC Championship Game. But in the big game, the Denver Broncos shut down their offense and held them to 10 points in a 14-point defeat as Newton played shaky football. Travis Kelce Receives Strong Comments From Chiefs Star During Offseason
Travis Kelce Receives Strong Comments From Chiefs Star During Offseason originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Travis Kelce isn't just one of the greatest tight ends in the NFL. He's also one of the more giving players the league currently has. Advertisement Off the field, he has been known for his philanthropy and initiatives. Ten years ago, he founded "Eighty-Seven & Running," a foundation that looks to empower kids from underprivileged backgrounds. Through that foundation, Kelce has donated money to schools to help provide children with a strong foundation. Over the last three years, George Karlaftis has emerged as a stud defensive end for the Chiefs. When asked who his favorite teammate is, he said it's Kelce because of Kelce's giving nature. 'Travis Kelce. Salt of the earth kind of guy and a great person. I look up to him as a mentor.' Kelce has also donated autographed merch to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and he has also raised money to support a local shelter that provides a safe haven for women, children and pets who have been subject to domestic abuse. He has also spoken in support of social justice by supporting Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQ community. He has put off retirement for the past two years and put up 97 receptions, 823 yards and three touchdowns in 2024. The Chiefs are coming off a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. While some feel their championship window has closed, an argument could be made that they will be better this season. Budding wide receiver threat Rashee Rice will be back from a knee injury that cut his season short in Week 4, and speedster wideout Xavier Worthy now has one full year of NFL experience under his belt. Brent Rooker calls out tiebreaker rule after Home Run Derby elimination
Brent Rooker was not happy with the way he was bounced from the MLB Home Run Derby on Monday night. Rooker was knocked out in the first round by eventual Derby winner Cal Raleigh after the two hit the same number of home runs, but Raleigh's furthest homer was .08 feet further than Booker's. The A's slugger expressed frustration that he wasn't aware of the importance of the distance down to the decimal point until it was too late. Brent Rooker swings during the Home Run Derby on July 14, 2025. Getty Images While the scoreboard only showed the rounded number for distance on the home runs, Major League Baseball was using the non-rounded numbers for the official measurement. While both hit a max distance of 471, Rooker's home run measured in at 470.53 feet, while Raleigh's came in at 470.61 feet. 'You know, maybe if they have it to the decimal point, they should display that during the Derby and not wait till everyone's done to bring out that information that might be helpful,' Rooker told reporters. Booker had also said that he only got 38 pitches instead of the 40 because he was told he could take two pitches, but wasn't aware there were only 40 balls available for him to hit in total. 'I took two pitches that didn't count, but when we went to do the round, there was only 38 remaining, so we got down to have two pitches with five seconds left and they're out of baseballs,' he said. Raleigh went on to win the Home Run Derby with his dad throwing to him and his younger brother behind the plate. Cal Raleigh reacts during the Home Run Derby on July 14, 2025. 'Rules are the rules in terms of what makes up the semifinals.'
