For the past month, hip hop heads stayed locked intoMetro Boomin's Instagram feed, awaiting new snippets and teasers from his long-awaited LP, formally entitledMetro Boomin Presents: A Futuristic Summa (Hosted by DJ Spinz).After a slight delay, the wait is over;A Futuristic Summais finally here, and it's a true family affair – a hometown one, at that – featuring a star-studded selection of Atlanta rappers includingQuavo,Future, andYoung Thug.
A true homage to the city's heritage and hip hop roots, the project harkens back to Atlanta's heyday, taking shape as a double-disc release. Disc 1 spans 13 tracks – with additional contributions coming from local legendGucci Mane, alongsideRoscoe Dash,Waka Flocka Flame,Shad da God,Young DroandTravis Porter.
On the flip side, Disc 2 is where Thugger comes in on 'Birthday' along with Skooly and Young Booke, also equipped with features fromLil Baby,T.I.,2 Chainz, and more.

NEWS OF THE WEEK: Elton John celebrates 35 years of sobriety
The Rocket Man singer took to Instagram on Tuesday night to post a picture of the cards and flowers he'd received from his close friends and family. In one of the cards, his sons Zachary and Elijah wished him a "happy 35th birthday" and wrote, "We are so proud of you!". In addition to the cards and flowers, Elton also received two framed drawings featuring balloons, love hearts and swirls. Although the drawings are partially covered by the cards, the words "Happy sobriety" and "So proud of you!" can be seen.
