Rock band My Chemical Romance to perform in Singapore in April 2026
US band My Chemical Romance last performed in Singapore in 2007.
SINGAPORE – American alternative rock band My Chemical Romance will be back in Singapore after almost two decades for a show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 28, 2026.
Tickets go on sale on July 11 at 10am via Sistic.
The emo/pop-punk icons last performed here at Singapore Expo's Max Pavilion in 2007, their first show here.
The New Jersey quartet are best known for 2000s emo anthems such as Welcome To The Black Parade (2006), Helena (2004) and I'm Not Okay (I Promise) (2004).
According to organiser Midas Promotions, who is co-presenting the show with promoter Akselerasi Entertainment, the gig is part of the band's 2026 South-east Asia tour.
Formed in 2001, the band released debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love the following year and rose to become one of the most prominent rock bands of the 2000s.
At the 2006 MTV Asia Awards in Thailand, the band won Favourite Breakthrough Artist and Favourite Video for Helena.

Their third album, The Black Parade (2006), is regarded as a watershed release for emo music.
The band split up in 2013 and reunited in 2019. In July, they kicked off their global Long Live The Black Parade Tour, in which they will play The Black Parade album in its entirety and includes dates in North and South America.
The band are fronted by singer Gerard Way, who is also the author of the award-winning comic book and science fiction Netflix series The Umbrella Academy (2019 to 2024).

After the show, guests lingered, making their way slowly down grand staircases, stopping for photos of the building's elaborate ironwork and gilded wall decorations. The Paris fall-winter haute couture fashion shows run through Thursday, featuring runway outings from labels Schiaparelli, Iris van Herpen and Imane Ayissi, as well as Giorgio Armani Prive, Maison Margiela and Balenciaga. SINGAPORE - The SG60 edition of the annual Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert (NDC) will feature performances by a line-up of home-grown acts including Mandopop star Kit Chan, first Singapore Idol winner Taufik Batisah, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Charlie Lim. The seventh edition of the free gig will take place at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay on Aug 3 from 4.30pm. Hosted by local personalities Gurmit Singh, Nithiya Rao, Yasminne Cheng and Zhin Sadali, the show will also feature second Singapore Idol winner Hady Mirza, who composed and is set to sing the concert's theme song, Ties That Bloom. Sisters Tay Kewei and Tay Kexin will perform together for the first time, and other on-stage family affairs will include Cultural Medallion recipient Rahimah Rahim, her sister Rozie Rahim and granddaughter Aly; singer JJ Neo and her mother, host Lucy Chow, as well as married couple Annetha Ayyavoo and Mark Sara. Actor Lee Lung Kei, 74, welcomes fiancee, 37, with 60 roses after her release from jail

Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei has reunited with his Chinese fiancee Chris Wong after more than one year apart. Wong, whose real name is Wang Qingxia, was in June 2024 sentenced to jail for 25 months for charges relating to falsifying of documents and overstaying in Hong Kong. The 37-year-old was released on July 7 after her jail sentence was commuted, and was immediately deported to China. Lee, 74, waited for Wong at the arrival hall in Shenzhen, welcoming her with a bouquet of 60 roses. He told the media that the 60 roses represented 'loving you every second', and that he was glad that he no longer had to see her through a glass barrier. Wong did not speak to the media. In photos Lee shared with Hong Kong media, Wong was seen in a pink outfit and a black hat and wearing a face mask. Lee was full of smiles, while Wong looked tired. Wong was detained in February 2024 and faced seven charges – including breaching her conditions of stay in Hong Kong and using fake documents. She pleaded guilty to five charges.
