Actor Lee Lung Kei, 74, welcomes fiancee, 37, with 60 roses after her release from jail
The couple have been in the spotlight since their relationship was revealed in 2020 due to their huge age gap.
Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei has reunited with his Chinese fiancee Chris Wong after more than one year apart.
Wong, whose real name is Wang Qingxia, was in June 2024 sentenced to jail for 25 months for charges relating to falsifying of documents and overstaying in Hong Kong.
The 37-year-old was released on July 7 after her jail sentence was commuted, and was immediately deported to China.
Lee, 74, waited for Wong at the arrival hall in Shenzhen, welcoming her with a bouquet of 60 roses.
He told the media that the 60 roses represented 'loving you every second', and that he was glad that he no longer had to see her through a glass barrier. Wong did not speak to the media.
In photos Lee shared with Hong Kong media, Wong was seen in a pink outfit and a black hat and wearing a face mask. Lee was full of smiles, while Wong looked tired.
'Chris has a house in Foshan, but she does not want to return there (for now) and meet too many people,' Lee said.

The former TVB star said he would accompany her to Foshan to meet her parents after she rested for a few days, adding that marriage registration is on the cards.
Lee, best known for playing emperors in Hong Kong dramas, and Wong have been in the spotlight since their relationship was revealed in 2020, due to their huge age gap.
The high-profile relationship led to the media digging into Wong's past and discovering that she had falsified her academic qualifications and paintings.
Wong was detained in February 2024 and faced seven charges – including breaching her conditions of stay in Hong Kong and using fake documents. She pleaded guilty to five charges.

SINGAPORE - The SG60 edition of the annual Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert (NDC) will feature performances by a line-up of home-grown acts including Mandopop star Kit Chan, first Singapore Idol winner Taufik Batisah, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Charlie Lim. The seventh edition of the free gig will take place at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay on Aug 3 from 4.30pm. Hosted by local personalities Gurmit Singh, Nithiya Rao, Yasminne Cheng and Zhin Sadali, the show will also feature second Singapore Idol winner Hady Mirza, who composed and is set to sing the concert's theme song, Ties That Bloom. Sisters Tay Kewei and Tay Kexin will perform together for the first time, and other on-stage family affairs will include Cultural Medallion recipient Rahimah Rahim, her sister Rozie Rahim and granddaughter Aly; singer JJ Neo and her mother, host Lucy Chow, as well as married couple Annetha Ayyavoo and Mark Sara. A woman was spotted making out in a shopping mall in Malaysia — with a live-sized standee of Chinese actor Xiao Zhan. In a social media post yesterday (July 7), a young woman with pink hair is seen cozying up to a standee of the 33-year-old singer-actor, who was recently announced the global ambassador of Honor N smartphone. At the beginning of the Reel, she places a light pink scarf over the board placed outside an electronics shop, and proceeds to admire his face, giving him a smooch on the cheek. She then touched his shoulder, caressed his face and stroked his head, before taking out a mobile phone from her pocket and attempting to take a selfie with the standee while on tiptoes.
