I'm A Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp charging fans up to £20 for photos on tour

Daily Mirror18 hours ago
I'm A Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp is going on tour later this year and the former footballer manager is charging fans around an extra £15 to take a photo with him at his shows
Fans of millionaire Harry Redknapp are being told: "He's a celebrity… get him £15 more for a selfie." The extra charge is being slapped on those who want a snap with the King of the Jungle at a talk he is hosting.

The former football manager, whose love for wife Sandra and jam roly-polys helped him win ITV reality show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2018, is touring venues near his Sandbanks home in Dorset. But only fans with an £80 VIP ticket for An Evening with Harry Redknapp at St Petroc's Church in Bodmin, Cornwall, will get a selfie with the 78-year-old.

Others at the October 9 event, who have splashed out up to £60 for a ticket, must pay £15 more for a pic. At Tregenna Castle in St Ives on October 3, a VIP ticket with a selfie costs £169, or £149 without one. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show.

Fans who stump up for the £169 'Premium VIP' admission get "a personal photo opportunity (taken by us with your own camera/phone)". A VIP ticket without the snap costs £149 at the same appearance.

An advert for the talks says former Bournemouth, West Ham and Portsmouth manager Harry "will be sharing insider stories, football anecdotes and plenty of laughs". It also promises a Q&A session with one of football's "most charismatic figures".
Harry, who may return to the jungle in an all-star spin-off, is not the only famous name to charge for photos. Actors Danny Dyer and Sir David Jason have also previously asked fans to shell out extra for snaps.

Harry, known for his nifty moves in football transfers, stormed off a 2010 TV interview when reporter suggested he was a wheeler-dealer. He replied: "I'm not a wheeler and dealer – f*** off. I'm a f***ing football manager."
Last month, Harry's £5million mansion was targeted by burglars who stole wife Sandra's jewellery.

Naked Attraction host Anna Richardson gives update on show's future after Channel 4 axe

Naked Attraction first graced our screens back in 2016 and quickly became a fan favourite before wrapping up last year Naked Attraction star Anna Richardson has given an update on the show's future after a year off air. The Channel 4 programmes sees every day people take their kit off in a bid to find love. ‌ One person is met with several naked figures and have to choose who they want to go on a date with without seeing their faces or even chatting first. The controversial programme first landed on our screens back in 2016 but came to an end last year. ‌ 65 episodes aired across seven series before it ended in March of last year. Many fans have been hoping that the show is just taking a break and that it will actually return at some point. ‌ Anna has spoken to the Daily Mail where she said she also hopes that Naked Attraction will come back to our screens once again. She said: "I am desperate for it to come back. "I want a campaign that basically says 'Bring back Naked Attraction'. It is wildly popular. People absolutely love it. It is funny. It's about acceptance. ‌ "And I think at the moment, in a world where we're all actually a bit p***ed off and we feel ground down in this country, you know, there's a huge amount of division and anger. I think Naked Attraction brings a bit of levity. ‌ "So the fact is, the truth is, I have no idea whether it's coming back. I really hope so, because it's a fun show to do, and it does very well, but I have no idea about about the politics of whether it is or not, but let's keep our fingers crossed." Viewers were shocked when the show first aired nine years ago. Anna helps the single person choose who they want to date while they all stand in different coloured pods. Those standing in the pods reveal a different part of their body during each round while the single person sends one person home each time. ‌ At the end they finally reveal their faces while the single person strips off as well. A final person is then chosen as they pop their clothes back on and head out on a date together. Anna said that she believes that Naked Attraction has paved the way for other controversial dating shows. She said that reaction was "crazy", as she explained: "Everybody had a breakdown when Naked Attraction was announced. And, you know, the press went absolutely crazy... 'this is a new low for, you know, new low and moral standards on British television.' "And of course, we were trailblazers, so now we've paved the way to things being more open and talked about and accepting. "

Prince Harry responds to claims he 'struck Prince Andrew and bloodied his nose'

Prince Harry had addressed claims he punched Prince Andrew in the face at a family gathering in 2013 Prince Harry has refuted allegations that he left Prince Andrew with a "bloody nose" during a heated confrontation, as claimed in a explosive new book. ‌ The Duke of Sussex stands accused of striking the Duke of York at a family event in 2013 after calling him a "coward" in author Andrew Lownie's latest work Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. ‌ Relations are said to have erupted between the Royal duo after Harry learned of "something Andrew said" behind his back, he writes, noting that the bond between the pair has remained strained for over a decade following the purported incident. ‌ In a fresh excerpt from the publication, Mr Lownie states: "At a family gathering in 2013, Harry and Andrew had got into a heated argument, and punches were thrown over something Andrew said behind Harry's back." In the book, which is being serialised by the Daily Mail, he continued: "According to a source close to both men, Harry told him he was a coward not to say it to his face. ‌ "Harry got the better of Andrew by all accounts, leaving him with a bloody nose before the fight was broken up," reports the Mirror. The writer also characterised Prince Andrew's rapport with both his nephews Harry and William as "problematic", with Andrew subsequently alleged to have informed the Duke of Sussex that his union with Meghan Markle would "not last more than a month". Harry's representatives have dismissed both allegations featured in the new publication. ‌ In a statement to People magazine, a member of the Duke's staff said: "I can confirm neither of those things are true. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight. "Nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry." ‌ The book also claims that Prince William has been operating behind the scenes to back Andrew's removal from the Royal Lodge, the £31 million Windsor estate where the Duke of York resides with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. This comes after numerous reported efforts by King Charles to have his brother ejected from the 31-bedroom mansion, with the Duke of York seemingly determined to remain. ‌ Photographs from earlier this year revealed the property looking notably deteriorated, with black mould, dampness, and cracked paintwork evident around the exterior, as well as the outbuildings and the gatehouse. The Prince of Wales is reported to have "long harboured" contempt for both Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, according to the book, and would seek to remove the pair himself upon ascending to the throne should his father fail to do so.
