Janki reprises her original role, and while the character remains the same, she admits the emotional depth was more demanding this time.
In an interview with ETimes, Janki revealed on returning to the sequel and her character, 'My character in Vash 2 is the same. Emotionally, it was challenging for me! To get those emotions to hit the right chord was a bit tough for me this time."
When asked if she experienced any fun or spooky moments on the sets of 'Vash 2', Janki replied, 'This time, I feel there are none for me.
Though we did revive a few memories from the past, both emotional and tormenting,' she added with a laugh.
Recently, the makers have revealed the poster features a faceless figure with a spine-chilling smile, promising a return to the eerie atmosphere of the original. The caption read, 'The Curse is back. VASH LEVEL 2 – In cinemas 27th August 2025.'

Among them was Bollywood actor Govinda's wife, Ssunita Ahuja, who was recently spotted at a Shiva temple in Mumbai. She visited the holy place to seek blessings on the final Shravan Somwar. In a video going viral, Ssunita was seen exiting the temple premises. But before heading towards her car, she had a quick interaction with the paparazzi where she revealed that she had observed the whole month of Sawan. In a statement to ETimes, she laughingly said, 'I removed Ahuja and added an extra s in my first name. But this change happened almost a year ago. It was done purely for numerology purposes. I want name and fame—who doesn't, right? I am an Ahuja, and that won't change. The surname will only be dropped when I leave the world." Putting divorce rumours to rest, she added, 'We are a happy family. Until something comes directly from both of us, don't assume anything." The couple have been going strong for 37 years now.
