The makers of Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film Coolie have released the first single, 'Chikitu,' with a music video. The song is already making waves online, with fans celebrating both the music and the visuals. The specially crafted video features veteran filmmaker and actor T Rajendar, who is also Simbu's father, alongside music director Anirudh Ravichander. The duo energetically imitates Thalaiva's iconic dance moves, with their sequences cleverly intercut with visuals of Rajinikanth dancing in a different setting. The transitions are indeed seamless, blending two different timelines into one celebratory tribute to the superstar's charisma.
As expected, the comment section under the music video is overflowing with praise. One fan wrote, 'It was only the first time I heard it, and I already got addicted to the song. Aniiiii!' Another declared, 'Ani + Thalaivar combo is back!' The four-minute video is set in a warehouse, shot in a gritty, stylised manner reminiscent of Lokesh Kanagaraj's promotional aesthetics. Interestingly, this isn't the first glimpse fans have had of 'Chikitu.' On Rajinikanth's birthday last year, Lokesh had released a one-minute teaser of the same song, featuring the superstar dancing. This new version extends that teaser, showing Rajinikanth dancing joyously at what appears to be a festive gathering in a chawl decorated with palm leaves and marigold flowers.

While fans have speculated about Coolie being part of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU), the director has clarified that it will be a stand alone film. Still, expectations remain sky-high for the action entertainer. The film also boasts an ensemble cast, including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Reba Monica John. Nagarjuna plays a negative role in the film.
In a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor opened up about his collaboration with Lokesh. 'I have a very important character in the film. I must thank Loki for the way he has presented me. Coolie is a full-on whistle film,' he shared. Adding to the excitement, Aamir Khan will also be making a cameo appearance in Coolie, a fact he confirmed himself. The actor also revealed that he and Lokesh are planning to collaborate on a superhero film slated for next year.
With anticipation running high, Coolie is undoubtedly one of the most awaited releases of the year. It's set for a box office showdown with another major tentpole: War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. As the two cinematic giants gear up for release, only time will tell which film comes out on top.

This service entailed the task of coaching a team of neurodivergent athletes, and from there, the real magic began. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film sees Genelia D'Souza alongside Aamir Khan. Further, there are 10 new faces that made their debut in the movie: Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Samvit Desai, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' review With a rating of 3 stars, an excerpt from the TOI review reads - 'Despite a sensitive and layered subject, R S Prasanna's directorial venture, written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, remains a wholesome, feel-good watch. It strikes a commendable balance between delivering a message and educating viewers about ID, all with a lighthearted touch. At its core is a message of inclusivity—conveying that people with ID are employable, independent, full of life, and deeply empathetic. The film sensitively portrays the characteristic traits of the players' conditions without reducing them to labels—Bantu's (Vedant Sharma) stimming through ear-scratching, Guddu's (GopiKrishnan K Verma) aquaphobia, Sharmaji's (Rishi Shahani) speech impairment, and the less-recognised invisible autism in high-functioning Hargovind (Naman Misra). These are presented as facets of their personalities, not just symptoms.'
