Falcons ruthlessly troll Patriots in 2025 schedule release video
The Atlanta Falcons used their 2025 NFL schedule release as an opportunity to troll the New England Patriots in a Mario Kart-themed video.
During the video, a driver wearing a Patriots helmet can be seen pulling over at a free air pump with bags of footballs next to it. That clip was an obvious reference to the infamous Deflategate saga, when legendary quarterback Tom Brady and the Patriots were accused of deflating game balls.
Brady was suspended for four games, while the Patriots organization was fined $1 million and docked two draft picks.
The Falcons face the Patriots in Week 9 of the 2025 season at Gillette Stadium. That could add even more fire to the matchup following the social media dig.
It's no surprise that the Falcons aren't friendly with the Patriots after they blew a 28-3 lead against them at Super Bowl LI. Many view it as the greatest NFL meltdown of all time.
There's a storied history between the two teams, and there will be no love lost when they meet later this year.
