CNN have unearthed and released new footage that sheds a fresh light on Donald Trump's past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Photos from 1993 have confirmed that Epstein attended the now-US President's wedding to Marla Maples, which was not widely known to the public.
As well as this, footage from a 1999 Victoria's Secret fashion event in New York shows the pair laughing and chatting together before the runway event.
🚨TRUMP EXPLODES AT CNN AFTER THEY REVEAL EPSTEIN WAS AT HIS WEDDING:
In a brief call with CNN today, Trump was asked about a photo of Epstein at his wedding. Trump said 'you've got to be kidding me,' before repeatedly calling CNN 'fake news' and hanging up. He's terrified. pic.twitter.com/Qleoc3GlLs — CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism) July 23, 2025
CNN's KFile uncovered the raw footage during a review of archival videos of Trump at events in the 1990s and 2000s.
In a 30-second call with CNN on Tuesday, the US President was asked about the wedding photos, to which he responded: 'You've got to be kidding me,' before repeatedly calling them 'fake news' and hanging up.
The 79-year-old has been under increasing pressure in recent months to release the 'Epstein Files', but is determined to sweep them under the rug and seemingly hope that they are just forgotten about. Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump in 1997. Pic:His relationship with Epstein has been questioned for a long time in the US, with plenty of photos of the pair – and some also including convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell – circulating in the media for decades.
Allegations that Epstein sexually abused underage girls first surfaced in 2005, leading to his arrest a year later.
He was arrested again in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges and later died in jail, fueling numerous conspiracy theories.
Trump and Epstein's relationship dates back to the 1980s, with the pair regularly spotted together at social events in Palm Beach and New York.
In 1993, photographer Dafydd Jones took photos at the opening of the Harley Davidson Café in New York, capturing the two together with Trump's arms around his two young children.
Two months after this, Jones was assigned to photograph Trump and Marla Maples' wedding, where he snapped Epstein entering the ceremony.
Jones told CNN: 'I wish now I took more of him with Trump. I had the job of photographing the Trump wedding, so I stood with the press and photographed him. The image you have is from the contact sheet – the negatives were lost.'
In 2002, Trump was quoted in New York Magazine profile of Epstein, calling him 'a terrific guy' and adding that he had known him for about 15 years.
He also stated: 'It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.' Pic:Recently, The Wall Street Journal reported on a 50th birthday greeting to Jeffrey Epstein that Trump allegedly sent in 2003 which included a sexually suggestive drawing and a reference to secrets they shared.
According to the newspaper, the letter contained the outline of a naked woman, apparently drawn with a marker pen, and had Trump's signature.
It reportedly ends with 'Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret'.
Trump has since filed a lawsuit against Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch and two Wall Street Journal reporters, raising claims under federal libel law.
He vehemently denied the Journal report warning Murdoch, the founder of News Corp, the paper's parent company, that he planned to sue. Donald Trump has even faced backlash from some of his MAGA troops. Pic: Somodevilla/Getty Images
Now, the US Justice Department has asked lawyers for Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell if she would be willing to speak with prosecutors, while Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said that he expects to meet with her in the coming days.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for crimes including child sex trafficking.
Trump is facing a rare backlash from sections of his MAGA fanbase after they were led to believe that he would release an 'Epstein list' of clients upon his return to the White House.
It then came as a surprise to them when Attorney General Pam Bondi issued an official memo in July declaring that there was no such list.

US to deploy two nuclear submarines in response to 'highly provocative' comments from Russia

LAST UPDATE | 3 hrs ago US PRESIDENT DONALD Trump has said he ordered that two nuclear submarines be deployed in response to 'highly provocative' comments by a senior Russian official. Trump did not say whether he meant nuclear-powered or nuclear-armed submarines. He also did not elaborate on the locations, which are kept secret by the US military. The United States and Russia control the vast majority of the world's nuclear weaponry, and Washington keeps nuclear-armed submarines on patrol as part of its so-called nuclear triad of land, sea and air-launched weapons. 'Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev…, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that,' Trump posted on his Truth Social platform. 'Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances.' Trump did not refer specifically to what Medvedev had said to prompt the highly unusual public display of nuclear sabre-rattling. On Monday, Medvedev harshly criticised Trump's threat of new sanctions against Russia over the continuing invasion of Ukraine. Advertisement Accusing Trump of 'playing the ultimatum game,' he posted on X that Trump 'should remember' that Russia is a formidable force. 'Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country,' the Russian official said. Medvedev is currently deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council and a vocal proponent of President Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine – and generally antagonistic relations with the West. He served one term as president between 2008-2012, effectively acting as a placeholder for Putin, who was able to circumvent constitutional term limits and remain in de facto power. - © AFP 2025 Want to know more about what's happening in Ukraine and why? Ghislaine Maxwell moved from federal jail to minimum-security prison camp

GHISLAINE MAXWELL, THE longtime associate and former girlfriend of notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been moved from a federal prison in Florida to a minimum-security prison in Texas following a meeting she had with a high-ranking US Department of Justice official. The US Bureau of Prisons said that 'Ghislaine Maxwell is in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas', without giving a reason for the transfer. The story was first reported by the New York Sun . Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for sexually exploiting and abusing teenage girls, had been interviewed over the course of two days by Todd Blanche, the second-highest ranking official in the Department of Justice, and one of President Donald Trump's former lawyers. Advertisement Maxwell's transfer is the latest development in a now weeks-long period of intense pressure being put on Trump about his attorney general's reneging on a promise to release documents related to the case against Epstein, often called the 'Epstein files'. Epstein died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while he was awaiting trial for sex trafficking offences. A medical examiner ruled his death a suicide. The Trump administrations U-turn on the president's campaign promise to release the files has been met with the sharpest rebukes from within his own MAGA base, many of whom had hoped the documents would reveal links between Epstein and prominent Democrats. Trump has been on the back foot and has failed to make the story go away. Donald Trump orders nuclear submarines to be moved closer to Russia

US President Donald Trump has reportedly ordered for nuclear submarines to be moved closer to Russia following statements made by the country's former president. In a Truth Social post on Friday, Trump called out ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev after what he described as 'highly provocative' and 'foolish and inflammatory' statements, saying that he had ordered two nuclear submarines to "appropriate regions" closer to Russia, reports The Mirror. "Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that," Mr Trump said. Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev (Image: Alexey NIKOLSKY / Sputnik / AFP) "Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" Mr Trump and Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, traded taunts in recent days after the US President said on Tuesday that Russia had 10 days to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine or be hit, along with its oil, with higher tariffs. Medvedev accused Mr Trump of engaging in a "game of ultimatums" and said Russia still possessed Soviet-era nuclear strike capabilities after the Republican told the former president to "watch his words". The war of words emerged after Mr Trump reportedly undid months of denying or limiting aid to Ukraine as he aimed to broker a peace between Kyiv and Moscow.
