On July 29, during an interview with Today, the host directly asked the stars about their relationship status. 'What's the deal here? You're both single, there's chemistry…are you two an item?" the host asked, to which Pamela tried to downplay the situation, pretending she didn't understand. However, on the other hand, Liam gave a vague answer. 'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry—as two actors, it's like, 'Oh, this is nice. It was not the first time Liam gushed about his co-star. Previously, during an interview with PEOPLE, he stated he was 'madly in love" with Pamela as a co-star. Pamela was seen returning the compliments, calling Liam 'a perfect gentleman."
