Oasis fans all say same thing about Liam Gallagher as they notice difference to previous tours
A major difference on the current Oasis tour has fans of the band talking about an improvement Liam Gallagher has made. The legendary frontman is touring with brother Noel Gallagher for the first time in 16 years, with delighted gig-goers saying there is one major change to note about Liam.
His performances in Cardiff and Manchester have been praised by fans of the group, who say he sounds far better than they thought. The reason behind this has been speculated on by fans, who believe the 52-year-old is taking better care of his vocal cords for this sold-out tour. Oasis Live '25 saw the band play five home shows at Heaton Park, with the last wrapping earlier this week.
A post to the r/Oasis Reddit page reads: "Does anyone else think Liam is sounding better as the tour rolls on, not worse like so many said would happen?" The fan went on to suggest Gallagher is taking "much better care" of his voice.
"Not that I was expecting any different, he takes much better care of his voice nowadays since being properly diagnosed with his Hashimoto's disease [an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid gland], but I assumed his voice would just stay consistent, not get miles better.
"People are saying tonight (July 20) was the best gig so far for Liam and I can see why. So much for the ones who said he would sound like s**t within a few gigs."
Gallagher confirmed in 2022 he had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, but fans say he is sounding better and better on the recent Oasis tours.
One fan wrote: "The benefit of mostly doing the same set is it should get better each night. Liam looks fitter and healthier so that helps with singing. He's also got that break where Noel songs four songs by himself, so he can have two halves."
Another added: "Well they are seven shows in. If his voice was going already it would be time to pack it in for good." A third shared: "I'm sure he will keep it up, but it is still basically the start of the tour."
Other fans have praised the smart booking of the sold-out shows, saying the dates in-between give Gallagher time to rest.
One fan suggested: "His voice is totally different, as it should be, if people can't really tell the difference that up to them, seven gigs in spread over 16 days, the management team no the problem and they are doing a great job, hope every enjoys the shows, I did.
"They have managed his voice by spreading the dates out, it's not like an old Oasis tour from years back, night after night, they have spaced the tour very well and it's working well I think."
Noel Gallagher, 58, has received just as much praise from gig-goers, who say his confidence on guitar is "better and better" with every show.
A fan pointed out that Noel's musical skills appear to be sharpening with every show. "Noel's guitar playing is getting better every night," the fan said.

List of prohibited items for Murrayfield as countdown to Oasis continues
Oasis are to take to the Edinburgh stage for three nights in August. The countdown to the Gallagher's much-anticipated gigs at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium is officially underway, with just over two weeks to go until Oasis take the Scottish stage for the first time in 15 years. And with over 67,000 fans attending each of the three nights, which take place on August 8, 9 and 12, it's definitely time to start planning what to bring and how to get there. We've covered public transport options and road closures, but another important thing to consider is what you're planning on bringing into the stadium. Murrayfield has strict rules on what you can and cannot bring into the concert venue, so it's a good idea to familiarise yourself with them ahead of the event. Security staff will be searching every single fan on entry, so it's vital you don't bring any contraband which could get confiscated or cause delays at the gate. Here's everything you need to know about which items you're allowed to take into the Edinburgh Oasis concerts, and which will see you held up by security. Which items are prohibited from Murrayfield Stadium? A number of items are banned from Murrayfield, including: Bags larger than A4 (30cm x 21cm) Only bags smaller than an A4 sheet of paper are allowed into the gig. There is also no bag drop policy, so be wary not to break this rule or your bag may be confiscated. However, bags required to carry medical or childcare items are an exception, and those with these bags are to enter via the dedicated turnstiles. Knives or weapons Possession of any dangerous or hazardous items may constitute a criminal offence and will be reported to Police Scotland. Food or drink All food and drink from outside the venue is prohibited from taking in on entry. Exceptions include an unopened soft plastic water bottle of no bigger than 500ml, or an empty collapsible water bottle of the same size which you can refill in the venue. If you don't already have a collapsible water bottle, some cheap options are available, such as this one from Amazon, which retails at £9.99. Alternatively, this Decathlon option from Argos is available for £12. Flasks and hard water bottles Hard water bottles and hip flasks, as well as thermos flasks and metal drinks containers are all banned from Murrayfield. If you arrive with one of these, you will be required to bin it upon entry. Fireworks, flares and smoke bombs Possession of fireworks, smoke bombs, flares or other pyrotechnic items will result in a report to Police Scotland as they may constitute a criminal offence. Banners or flags which contain offensive or abusive slogans Banners or flags with statements that may be considered racist, homophobic, political or discriminatory will also be confiscated. Small flags and banners are permitted but the venue says that any flag or banner, irrelevant of content, which is larger than 12inches x 16inches (30cm x 41cm) with poles longer than 1m in length, or thicker than one inch (2.5cm) will not be permitted into the stadium. Musical instruments Don't bring your guitar expecting to be invited up on stage for Wonderwall- only the band are allowed to bring their instruments. Umbrellas of any size Scotland may be rainy, but you'll need a rain jacket or waterproof poncho as your umbrella won't make it through the Murrayfield gates. Laser pointers and torches Don't bring a torch or laser pointer. Air horns, party poppers and silly string are also prohibited. Animals All animals except guide dogs are forbidden, and those bringing an assistance dog should make Customer Services aware ahead of the gig. Large cameras Cameras with a lens of more than three inches or with a detachable lens aren't allowed either, and it must be possible for any camera you're bringing in to fit comfortably into a pocket or bag. Audio recording equipment This includes laptops and iPads. Tripods and selfie sticks You may want to record moments of the upcoming concerts, but gig goers shouldn't bring any large equipment with them, including selfie sticks or tripods.
