While one of the Casa Amor bombshells, Emma, is the ex-girlfriend of Harry Cooksley, who is already in the villa, one of the other girls holds a secret connection to a former X Factor contestant.
Liverpool makeup artist Lucy Quinn, 21, is not the first person in her family to take part on an ITV reality show.
She is the niece of X Factor star Ray Quinn, according to The Sun, who was runner-up on the ITV show in 2006 (series 3) to Leona Lewis.
Other acts to feature in that series included Ben Mills, The MacDonald Brothers and Kerry McGregor.
Ray first rose to fame as an actor, playing the role of Anthony Murray on Channel 4's Brookside from 2000 to 2003.
He took part on X Factor in 2006 and since then has released several albums, including Doing It My Way (debut), which entered the UK charts at number one upon its release in 2007 and sold 127,000 copies.
Ray has also made several other TV appearances:
Dancing on Ice (2009)
Dancing on Ice: All Stars (2014)
Get Your Act Together (2015)
Hollyoaks as Jonny Baxter (2018)
He has also appeared in various musicals, including Grease, Aladdin, Legally Blonde and Dirty Dancing.
Lucy, speaking in The Sun, said she has been watching series 12 of Love Island at home with her parents.
She revealed they have given her pointers on which boy she should target when she enters Casa Amor.
