HH Sayyid Fahd offers Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Khor Mosque

Muscat — HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers today offered Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Khor Mosque in Muscat.
Alongside HH Sayyid Fahd, the prayers were performed by some members of the Royal family, ministers, advisors and officials.
The prayers were led by Sheikh Dr. Kahlan bin Nabhan Al Kharusi, Assistant Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, who delivered the Eid sermon.
On this happy occasion, HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers expressed greetings to all citizens and residents.
He prayed to Allah the Almighty for the return of this happy occasion on His Majesty the Sultan and the Royal family at a time they enjoy good health and happiness. He also prayed to the Almighty to grant His Majesty and the government success to achieve further growth and prosperity for this dear homeland.
HH Sayyid Fahd also has wished a happy Eid for all Muslims around the world.

SAF Chief of Staff, military commanders follow up Al Hazm exercise

Muscat: Rear Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), along with SAF commanders and several senior officers, followed up on Monday at the Joint Command and Staff College a part of the Al-Hazm exercise. The exercise is being conducted by participants of the 38th course, representing various military and security services as well as several friendly nations. Attendees were briefed by the college's faculty on the progress of the exercise, while the participants provided an explanation of their engagement with the exercise scenarios and the proposed solutions to the hypothetical challenges across its various stages and activities. The Al-Hazm exercise, running from 23 June to 2 July, forms part of the course's general curriculum and serves as the culmination of a series of exercises undertaken by the Joint Command and Staff College students. It aims to achieve the intended training objectives while aligning with the requirements of joint military operations.

Electronic donations platform for Al Awabi Charity Team launched

Al Awabi: The electronic donations platform for Al Awabi Charity Team was officially launched on Monday in Al Awabi, South Al Batinah Governorate. Al Awabi Charity Team is an affiliate of the Ministry of Social Development, and the Zakat Committee of the Wilayat which is affiliated to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The event was held under the auspices of Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, Governor of South Al Batinah, in the presence of several officials from various government entities. Sultan Said Al Rawahi, Head of Al Awabi Charity Team, stated that the platform aims to facilitate the donation process for citizens and residents, enhancing support for charitable initiatives carried out by the team and the Zakat Committee. He said that the platform will contribute to delivering aid to beneficiaries efficiently and transparently, reflecting the spirit of solidarity within Omani society.
