You Know The 'Too Much' Cast from 'Hacks,' 'The White Lotus' And 'Game Of Thrones'
And like any Dunham project, the rest of the cast is stacked. 'I honestly can't believe it happened,' Dunham told Tudum about Too Much's all-star ensemble. 'There were so many actors that I respect that I was like, "Even if the character is in one episode or four episodes, I want to give them something to grab onto."'
Below, get to know the main cast of Too Much.
Megan Stalter (Hacks, Problemista) plays the lead character Jessica, a heartbroken young woman who relocates to London for a job after a bad breakup. There, she meets a charming musician named Felix (Will Sharpe).
Will Sharpe (The White Lotus, A Real Pain) plays Felix, a British musician who meets Jessica after one of his performances at a local pub.
Michael Zegen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Penguin) plays Jessica's ex, Zev, who dumps her for an influencer.
Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl, I Feel Pretty) plays Wendy, an influencer and Zev's new fiancée.
Lena Dunham (Girls, Catherine Called Birdy) also stars in her series as Nora, Jessica's older sister, who recently separated from her husband.
Andrew Rannells (GIRLS5EVA, Girls) plays Jameson, Nora's ex who left her to 'explore non-monogamy with a couple who are both named Cody'. He's also Jessica's boss who sends her to London on a work assignment.
Rita Wilson (Asteroid City, Sleepless in Seattle) plays Lois, Jessica and Nora's mom.
Rhea Perlman (Matilda, Barbie) plays Dottie, Jessica and Nora's grandmother. The whole family lives in her home in Great Neck, Long Island.
Janicza Bravo (Zola, Sharp Stick) plays Kim, a creative director and Jessica's new co-worker.
Watts plays Jessica's boss's wife, an extremely wealthy woman who she has a particularly exuberant interaction with at a dinner party...
Kim's assistant and Jessica's Gen Z colleague. 'I'd seen a stand-up special of [Leo's],' says Dunham, 'and thought, "This is a kid genius."'
One of three Pollys, but really, the main Polly. Polly is Felix's friend and former on-off lover/it's complicated. You'll recognise Exarchopoulos from breakout film Blue Is The Warmest Colour - she also voices Ennui in Inside Out 2.
Scott, who you'll know from Fleabag, Sherlock Holmes and more plays a director that Jessica comes into contact with as part of a work assignment.
Another of Jessica's colleagues, who has something on and off maybe going with Kim... you'll recognise her from The Alienist.
The Game of Thrones star appears as Jessica's father in a series of important and emotional flashbacks.
Auggie is Will's flatmate, friend and bandmate - you may remember him playing Martin Bashir in The Crown or in Patrick Melrose.
Gaz is Jessica's neighbour and actually a sweet and caring presence in her life during her stay. He played Tommen Baratheon in Game Of Thrones.
The A List actor (and Instagram favourite follow for me) Grant, plays Jessica's boss. Speaking about his casting, Dunham said: 'Richard E. Grant is this kind of incredible kind of British maximalism coupled with major pathos and physical comedy.'

Rhea Perlman was shocked over 'Cheers' co-star George Wendt's death
Cheers to him. Rhea Perlman is weighing in on the recent death of her former 'Cheers' co-star, George Wendt. 'That was the saddest thing ever, when George passed away,' Perlman, 77, exclusively told The Post while promoting her new Netflix show, 'Too Much.' Advertisement 'Really unexpected. None of us thought he was that sick. And I don't think he thought he was that sick – because we had seen him not that long ago during the Emmys. We did some special bit during the Emmys,' she recalled, referring to the 'Cheers' reunion during the 2024 awards ceremony. 7 Rhea Perlman as Carla Tortelli, George Wendt as Norm Peterson in 'Cheers.' 'Everything seemed just fine.' Wendt died at age 76 of cardiac arrest on May 20. His death certificate also reportedly listed congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease and hypertension as underlying causes. 'He was an incredible influence to me, both as someone that plays the trail being from the Midwest and teaching me that acting was a career you could actually have, and it's also a career where you could meet the love of your life like his wife, and AKA permanent girlfriend, Bernadette,' the 'Saturday Night Live' alum concluded. 7 John Ratzenberger, Kelsey Grammer, Ted Danson, George Wendt, Rhea Perlman and Kirstie Alley of 'Cheers.' ‘Love Is Blind' Stars Sara and Joey Are Officially Dating
Sara Carton and Joey Leveille may not have been a couple on season 8 of Love Is Blind, but the cast members came out of the pods with a connection of their own. On Sunday, July 13, Sara and Joey debuted their 'ship with a joint Instagram post, which showed them on a rooftop, kissing for the camera. 'Happy 🥹. My newest life chapter title,' the caption read. Their relationship came as a shock to fans of the Netflix reality series, who watched them explore relationships with other people during the season. '😮 so it's trueee LIB works just not on camera lol,' one fan wrote, while another added, 'Wait a darn minute!!! I'm gonna have to go rewatch this season. 😂😂.' In case you need a refresher: Joey was originally coupled with Monica Danús and made it to the altar on the eighth season of Love Is Blind, but they decided not to go through with the marriage. Sara also made it out of the pods with her original partner, Ben Mezzenga, but later called off the wedding. Though Ben asked if she would want to explore their connection off the show, she stood on business when it came to her decision. 'If you're going to say no to that [marriage], why even continue the relationship?' she told People during an exit interview. 'That's been a theme of mine where I know in the past, my past relationships, I know that this person isn't my person, but oh, maybe they can change, or maybe there was potential there. I can see us growing together. And I didn't want to continue the cycle of that.' Sara and Joey's hard-launch comes after Sara denied she was dating Joey during an episode of The Viall Files in March. 'To be clear, me and Joey are not dating,' she said, later adding, 'I don't know what the future will hold. I definitely have no capacity to even think about a relationship.' Then, during a May appearance on the Dear Shandy podcast, she clarified that they weren't 'dating officially' but that they were exploring their relationship. 'To keep it short and concise right now, a lot of people think of dating in different terms, so to keep it clear, dating officially—like boyfriend-girlfriend—we're not,' Sara explained at the time. 'We are dating in the sense of exploring our relationship and getting to know one another.' As for their exes, Monica and Ben, who sparked dating rumors of their own? Sorry to report that those two actually are just friends. On the Girl Please podcast back in April, Ben said of himself and Monica, 'We're not intentionally trolling, just having fun making content together and just letting the world take it as they want.'

Sorry, 'Emily in Paris'—Jessica of 'Too Much' Has the Best Style on TV Right Now
Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Costume designer Arielle Cooper-Lethem needed to bring color to London. For the new Netflix series Too Much, co-creator Lena Dunham wanted Jessica, the show's lead character, played by Megan Stalter, to look just a little bit larger-than-life. 'The idea was to try and create a world that was very real, but also just a little richer than the world that we live in. Maybe turned up a notch or two,' she says. 'We wanted lots of color, lots of texture, but not [for] everything to be new, some things [were] kind of beat-up and worn-in.' Stalter, for whom Dunham created the part, was a more than willing participant. 'She was just so game for everything, which is great. Because some of the looks we had to put her in were quite crazy,' says Cooper-Lethem. Stalter came in with her own favorites, including pieces from Fashion Brand Company. Cooper-Lethem admits that sizing limitations remained frustratingly common. 'It's still quite difficult to find really fashionable extended sizing clothing, which is a shame,' she says. But the joy that comes from finding the right pieces was something Cooper-Lethem wanted Jessica to convey. 'She's a girl who's evolving, turning into a grownup. She's dating someone zesty and adventurous,' Cooper-Lethem says. 'I think she really is a character that has a lot of fun finding new clothes, so it was important that she felt like she was looking everywhere.' On her first night in London, Jessica wears a white, loose fitting, sailor-inspired dress. In a later episode, we see her wear it again with her ex-boyfriend. 'That [repetition was] definitely intentional,' says Cooper-Lethem. 'That dress actually was supposed to be mistaken for one of her nightgowns.' The number, which is one of the few items that we see Jessica wear in both the New York and London scenes, was from the British brand Foundry Mews. Jessica loves delicate, flowy nightgowns both at home, where we see her wear them with Felix or in fantasy sequences, and out on the street, where she occasionally wears them like a tunic paired with leggings. 'We did end up sourcing a lot of the new ones from this UK-based brand called If Only If. They were wonderful,' Cooper-Lethem says. Many of the others were vintage, including one from the first episode that was intended to have a 'pioneer dress' look. Cooper-Lethem got a custom metallic dress made for an episode where Jessica attends a fancy wedding. It was loosely inspired by the dress that Drew Barrymore's character wears to the prom in Never Been Kissed. 'She was supposed to climb out of a window in it, so we made that custom,' she says. For an elegant dinner party at her boss's home, Jessica wore a patterned raincoat with a fur collar that Cooper-Lethem got from the Spanish brand Celia B. 'It's just so perfect for the character. Because she's a bit whimsical. She's a dreamer,' she says. While Jessica and Felix's wedding might come as a surprise, her bridal outfit makes perfect sense. She's wearing the humorous Nixon crop top that she inherited from her mother with a tulle skirt, and a large bow. 'We collaborated with a designer she had worked with before called Veronica Sheaffer, who's based out of Chicago, to make the veil and the skirt for her, which was a lot of fun.
