Yahoo24-03-2025
24 Mar - It seems Lesley Chiang is taking her career international just three months after leaving TVB! The actress and singer-songwriter has officially signed with Los Angeles-based talent agency Prestigious Powerhouse.
The news was announced by the agency on 20 March with a couple of studio photos of the singer-actress, writing, "Lesley Chiang - Newly Signed, LA Theatrical. Lesley Chiang is a Canadian actress and singer songwriter, who is best known for her role as Liza in the Hong Kong sitcom "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold," for which she won the 2022 TVB Award for Breakthrough Star."
"She starred in her first American role for the Amazon Prime limited series 'Expats'," the company added.
It was back in December that the singer, who is also the daughter of veteran actor Paul Chun, revealed that she has ended her contract with TVB after seven years.
"Throughout these years, I've had many exciting and challenging roles in acting, hosting, and singing. I've learned and grown a lot, and I'm forever grateful for the opportunities that came my way. As I step into the next chapter of my life, I'm filled with excitement for what's to come. I'll continue to pour my heart into my work as an actress and singer-songwriter. I really, really, really love what I do, and I feel so lucky to be able to chase my dreams!" she posted.

Justin Bieber to Release Surprise Album ‘Swag' With Artwork Featuring Wife Hailey and Son Jack

Justin Bieber is back. The singer will release a surprise album titled Swag on Friday, July 11, a music insider tells Us Weekly. The insider confirms that photos posted to Justin's Instagram Story on Thursday, July 10, featuring his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their son, Jack, are part of the artwork for his seventh studio record. In the images, the heavily tattooed Grammy winner, 31, poses both shirtless and in a white tank top with baggy jeans while lounging outdoors on a couch alongside Hailey, 28, and their 10-month-old. Justin Bieber Through the Years: From Teen Heartthrob to Married Man Billboards recently erected in Iceland, where Justin recorded music earlier this year, and Los Angeles include one of the black-and-white shots alongside the title, Swag. Meanwhile, a digital billboard seen in New York City's Times Square revealed the Def Jam project has 20 tracks such as "All I Can Take," "Go Baby," "Butterflies," "Dadz Love" and "Forgiveness." Rappers Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain are featured as collaborators, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news. Us Weekly has reached out to Justin's rep for comment. The Best Albums of 2024: Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and More This will be the pop star's first album since 2021's Justice, which included the hit singles "Holy," "Lonely," "Anyone," "Hold On," "Peaches" and "Ghost." The news comes in the midst of a turbulent time for Justin, who has worried fans in recent months with his bizarre behavior and drug use. He also endured a shakeup within his inner circle, parting ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023 and more recently falling out with his childhood friend and former business partner Ryan Good. "He is going through a lot of changes," a source close to the Biebers exclusively told Us last month. "Navigating fatherhood, trying to put out music [and] past traumas surfacing has been a lot for him." Justin's former collaborators and team members have also publicly voiced their concerns. Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber: A Timeline of Their Relationship "Whatever he's going through, I pray for him and hope he's OK," Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd — who cowrote some of the entertainer's biggest hits, including 2015's "Where Are Ü Now" and "What Do You Mean?" — told The Hollywood Reporter in April. An unnamed ex-employee added, "Seeing him disintegrate like this … it's watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose. He's lost. There's no one protecting him because there's no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out." However, Justin's rep insisted to Us at the time that the star was "committed to following the right path" despite the speculation surrounding him. Justin and Hailey married in 2018 and welcomed Jack last summer.

Justin Bieber Releases Surprise 7th Album ‘Swag'

Justin Bieber has finally dropped his long-awaited seventh album titled Swag. The Grammy winner, 31, released the new project on Friday, July 11. "This is more of a personal project that Justin has been wanting to put out, almost like a mixtape," a source tells Us Weekly. "His label is planning a more traditional pop album for early next year." Just one day earlier, a music insider confirmed Justin's surprise album to Us, revealing that photos posted on his Instagram Story featuring his wife of nearly seven years, Hailey Bieber, and their 10-month-old son, Jack, were part of the record's artwork. The images showed Justin posing shirtless and in a white tank top with baggy jeans while spending time outside with his family. Justin Bieber Through the Years: From Teen Heartthrob to Married Man Justin also teased the album with billboards around the world in Iceland, where he hit the studio to record music earlier this year, Los Angeles and New York City, which displayed the title Swag alongside black-and-white photos and unveiled the project's 21-song tracklist, including 'Go Baby,' 'Dadz Love' and 'Forgiveness.' This marks Justin's first studio album since Justice, which was released in March 2021 and spawned hits such as 'Peaches,' 'Holy,' 'Ghost' and 'Anyone.' In recent months, Justin has sparked concern with his behavior on social media. He ultimately addressed the speculation about his well-being in a string of June Instagram posts. 'Quit asking me if I'm OK. Quit asking me how I'm doing. I don't do that to you. Because I know how life is for all of us. It's hard,' he told fans via his Story. 'Let's encourage our people not [to] project our insecurities onto one another. Your concern doesn't come off as care, it's just oppressive, weirdo.' Justin Bieber's Ups and Downs Through the Years: Relationship Drama, Health Issues and More Justin later admitted that he knows he's 'broken,' emphasizing, 'Don't you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already?' A source told Us in June that Justin 'has felt lost recently' since 'he is going through a lot of changes' in both his professional and personal life, including moving on with his music career after parting ways with his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, in 2023. 'Navigating fatherhood, trying to put out music [and] past traumas surfacing has been a lot for him,' the insider said. Despite the persistent concerns about Justin, his rep told Us in April, 'As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won't deter him from staying committed to following the right path.'
