Saraya admits to using cocaine during WWE run and lying about failed drug test
In a surprising and honest confession, AEW star Saraya (formerly known as Paige in WWE) disclosed during a conversation with Denise Salcedo that she had been doing cocaine while still in WWE and that when she failed a drug test, she and a friend lied to WWE officials about it.
The admission stemmed from a casual yet revealing session of "Never Have I Ever" in which Saraya was asked about one of the more infamous segments of her wrestling career with her interviewer, Denise Salcedo.
The British-born wrestler, now a trailblazer of WWE's women's division, then revealed how she tried to hide the earlier drug use and address her negative image. It's one of the very few occasions Saraya has addressed this incident in such straightforward terms, but it puts a new perspective on her issues while she was in WWE.
Saraya opens up in raw and unfiltered moment
Saraya had a very blunt and to the point explanation about it when talking to Salcedo in the light-hearted game. When the test results came back, she remembered being in a tough spot and tried to make up an excuse to not have to face the music.
'Yeah, I did it publicly… talking about my drugs and stuff like that, remember that? Yeah, I got fing— I got publicly outed for popping another drug test and I was like, uh… it was a dental surgery… and it wasn't… I did cocaine, but… yeah, I f***ed up, I lied, but it's okay.'

You can hear the regret in her words, but also a sense of acceptance and perhaps even realization that this period of her life is behind her. 1 2 Guwahati: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday inaugurated the new Bhagadatta II flyover at Rukminigaon, connecting the city's Downtown Hospital point to the Sixth Mile area. Named after King Bhagadatta, the ancient ruler of Pragjyotishpur, the 660-metre-long structure is expected to ease traffic on one of Guwahati's busiest corridors. Sarma, taking to his social media 'X', wrote, "This evening I will dedicate the Bhagadatta flyover II to the people of Guwahati. The flyover has been completed in a record time of nine months, against the original time frame of 18 months. It will greatly reduce congestion while approaching the capital city." The existing flyover at Dispur (Supermarket) has now been named Bhagadatta I, creating a symbolic pair that honours the legacy of the ancient king.
