The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has slapped a €500,000 fine and a ten-year ban on Montenegrin club AK Arsenal Tivat over match-fixing.
The club will not be able to participate in any competitions governed by UEFA until the 2034-35 season, including Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body CEDB took this decision following an investigation into charges related to match-fixing during the team's Conference League game against Armenian club Alashkert in 2023.
Arsenal Tivat drew against Alashkert 1-1 in the first round before they faced a heavy loss of 6-1 in the second leg.
UEFA stated that they will ask FIFA, world football's governing body, FIFA, to increase the ban to be applied in global competitions.
Arsenal Tivat player Nikola Celebic and official Ranko Krgovic also were banned for life and two other players were suspended for 10 years. Tags: Arsenal TivatFootballUEFA

Jacobo Ramón Set to Exit Real Madrid

Rabat — Jacobo Ramón, will leave Real Madrid this summer, after he decided that he has no place in the first team. Jacobo Ramón, 20-years-old, is a product of the Real Madrid CF Youth, he participated in three competitions including European Under-19 champion, Champions League winner and Uefa Supercup winner, but only made one appearance in the last 25/26 season. Ramón was considered one of the most promising players in Real Madrid's academy, but he never got the opportunity to show his skill, even when he got the chance in the last 2026 season. With players like Huijsen, Militao, Rüdiger, Asencio, and Alaba in the squad, plus Tchouameni in the third center-back, he didn't have the chance to shine. For the center-back, leaving Real Madrid is a difficult decision, but it's the most sensible one. As all eyes are on him in the Transfer Market, he is valued at €1 million. Como's head coach Cesc Fàbregas showed interest in signing him, but they face competition with the Primera Division, including Betis, Levante and Rayo Vallecano. Tags: Jacobo RamónReal Madrid
