
Crowsnest Pass residents charged in Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation, raid

The execution of a search warrant at a home and vehicle in Crowsnest Pass has resulted in a number of criminal charges.
Mounties out of Crowsnest Pass say the home and vehicle, in the area of Tecumseh Drive, were raided on June 27.
Four arrests were made, RCMP say, with officers allegedly finding seven firearms (one stolen), two unpinned 21-round-capacity pistol magazines, 18.5 grams of powder cocaine, 5.9 grams of psilocybin, 0.3 grams of crack cocaine, a stolen vehicle and a large quantity of stolen lottery tickets.
RCMP say charges have been laid against two of the four people arrested.
Blair Mielke, 48, is charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance;
Possession of items used to traffic a controlled substance;
Weapons offences (x10); and
Possession of property obtained by crime (x3).
Terri-Ann Smith, 48, is charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime.
Both Mielke and Smith remain in custody and are awaiting court dates in Lethbridge.
Mielke is set to appear on Thursday.
Smith is set to appear on Wednesday.
RCMP ask that anyone who sees or has information about criminal activity call them at 403-562-2867.
