'Celebrating the woman behind it all': Meghan Markle appears to wish herself a happy 44th birthday via her As Ever brand - as royal family snub the Duchess of Sussex again
Markle's birthday celebrations kicked off with a social media story from the Duchess advertising an upcoming drop of her polarising wines.
In the short clip, Markle is seen carrying a basket of her signature wines and also dangling her legs while wearing a pair of pricey Hermes sandals.
'Coming soon,' the caption said.
However Meghan appeared not to miss the opportunity to pay tribute to herself.
In a gushing post from her own As Ever lifestyle brand, a black and white photo of a smiling Markle was captioned, "Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan".
While well-wishes for the Duchess of Sussex's birthday are already flooding in on social media, the entire royal family is expected to snub the milestone for the third year running.
The Sussexes 'stepped back' as working members of the Royal Family in January 2020, before permanently relocating to California in June that year.
However, the royal family continued to acknowledge Harry and Meghan's birthdays after the Sussexes left the royal family.
As recently as 2022, William and Kate shared a message with their millions of followers on social media publicly wishing Prince Harry's wife a happy birthday when she turned 41.
The entire monarchy has snubbed Meghan and Harry's birthdays since then, which coincided with the death of Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III ascending the throne.
At the time, royal aides said they only marked the birthdays of 'working members' of the Royal Family on their official social media accounts.
Noticeably, the decision to stop marking Harry and Meghan's birthdays also coincided with the release of the couple's Netflix series slamming the monarchy.
Markle's big day comes amid reports the Sussexes are finally starting to repair relations with the royal family ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Reportedly, the Duke of Sussex is eager for both his wife and his estranged family to come together for the games, which will mark the event's return to the UK for the first time since 2014.

Shanna Moakler to judge Playboy's new Playmate of the Month competition
Playboy is relaunching its Playmate of the Month competition, with Shanna Moakler among the judges. The men's magazine – which was founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner – is continuing its comeback with a new Playmate competition and TV show, months after returning to print with an annual February issue. Page Six reports that The Great Playmate Search will be an online competition with an initial round of public voting, followed by a final round with a judging panel made up of former Playboy models. Moakler, Summer Altice, Brandee Roderick, Daphnee Duplaix, and 2025 Playmate of the Year Gillian Nation are all set to join the panel. A behind-the-scenes TV series has also been pitched to networks. Playboy previously had TV success with the reality series The Girls Next Door, which aired from 2005 to 2010, although the new series has been compared to Netflix' Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Stars including Marilyn Monroe, Pamela Anderson, Drew Barrymore, Kim Kardashian, Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Sharon Stone, Carmen Electra, Anna Nicole Smith, Farrah Fawcett, and Jenny McCarthy have previously graced the covers of Playboy magazine. Hefner passed away in 2017 at the age of 91 and the magazine stopped printing in 2020, before returning in 2025 with its first annual issue. Last year, the board rejected a $100 million bid from Hefner's son, Cooper, to buy the company.

Prince Andrew says Harry ‘acted hastily' in marrying Meghan leading to alleged ‘punch up'
News Corp Columnist Angela Mollard discusses allegations of Prince Harry giving Prince Andrew a bloody nose during an argument. Revelations in a new book called 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York' claim there was a physical altercation between the uncle and nephew, over something Prince Andrew said behind Prince Harry's back. 'It's not within the realms of possibility that Harry had a punch-up with Andrew and the notion that the two most problematic members of the Royal Family could be … in this realm,' Ms Mollard told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. 'There's also the claim that Andrew warned Harry that he hadn't done his due diligence on Meghan Markle and that he had acted hastily in marrying her.'

'Till the day they die': Long-time royal photographer's bombshell prediction about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's relationship... as the Duke of York faces fresh scandal
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has made a striking prediction about Prince Andrew and Sarah 'Fergie' Ferguson, saying he believes the pair will remain loyal to one another for life. Edwards, who has worked with the Royal Family for over 40 years, told The Sun on Sunday that Fergie is his "favourite royal" and opened up about his memories of the Yorks' long and complicated relationship. He recalled the first time the "extroverted redhead" appeared on the royal scene in 1985, after being introduced to Prince Andrew by her friend, the late Princess Diana. The couple quickly became engaged and married in 1986, but eventually separated and divorced a decade later in 1996. Still, Edwards believes nothing will break the connection between the Duke and Duchess of York, who share daughters Princess Beatrice, 36, and Princess Eugenie, 35. "They're still very close and will be until the day they die," he said. Fergie echoed similar sentiments in a December interview with The Times, declaring: "I won't let Andrew down. He supports me as much as I support him. He's supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce." The ex-couple's bond has indeed remained unusually strong, and so has the public scrutiny, particularly surrounding the ex-working royal and his ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The latest round of controversy has erupted ahead of the release of royal author Andrew Lownie's new book 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', due out on August 14. The book reportedly explores the 65-year-old Duke's sexual exploits and alleges that Andrew's relationship with Epstein was even more perilous than the public realises. According to The Times, Epstein is said to have sold Andrew's "most intimate secrets" to foreign intelligence agencies. The book also claims the disgraced financier was an "agent of influence" for Russian President Vladimir Putin. "The Prince was a useful idiot who gave him respectability, access to political leaders and business opportunities. He found him easy to exploit," Lownie said. These allegations come hot on the heels of Andrew's exposed ties to alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo, who reportedly saw him as "a valuable communication channel" according to documents released by the UK's Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC). The pair still live together at Royal Lodge on the Windsor Estate, a situation many assumed would end under King Charles' reign, as reports claimed the King wanted them to vacate the sprawling property. But Edwards believes that's also unlikely. "One thing I know about the King is that he is a kind man who was never going to kick his brother and Fergie out of their home, Royal Lodge at Windsor," he said. "He's not that sort of person."
